I woke up from my nice dreamless sleep. Once again I was the first one awake, but that was only because when I was back at my home, my part of town trained to always wake up before the sun comes up, 6:00am. To bad I can't see the sky anymore, it's not like I've seen it for long though.

The government never let's anyone out anymore, they say it's to dangerous. For instance when we have school, busses with armed people take us there. Because it takes so much work to get there we have school once or twice a week. People that work have to basically live at work.

It's all because of the monsters.

I slowly got out of bed trying my best not to wake up anyone else. It's best to be the first person done with showers......actually I wanted to be the first person in the showers.
After 10 minutes of washing down I got out, suprisingly enough the bathrooms were split so that each person can have their own bathroom.

I picked up the folded clothes in the clothes box, an army colored tank top with a dark brown/green jacket and dark green shorts that went to the middle of my thighs. I had to be honest the shorts were a bit short but clothes are clothes. I brushed through my damp brown hair, it was already starting to curl. I sighed as I looked at my light brown eyes that seemed to change colors in the light in the mirrior. As far as I know I'm the only one I know that has eyes that change colors everytime I move.

When I walked out it was about 7am.
Calix and Sophia were chatting away on their beds. While what a suprise, Orion was snoring like a little kid. I decided to wake the little fellow up by pinching his under arm fat. Orion woke up so fast it had to be a world record. He glanced around, when he saw me ducking down on the side of the bed he threw a pillow. I didn't have enough time to move so it hit me dead center in the face.

As I recerfaced from the ground I laughed "It's time to wake up dude."

Orion rolled off the side of the bed and hit the floor with a thud. Soon after he started crawling to the bathrooms.

After about an hour everyone got showered and dressed. Weirdly enough all of us had a full army colored outfits. Sophia had the same outfit as me but she had black tights under her shorts. Orion and Calix were both wearing shorts up to there knees and army colored shirts. "Is it just me or all yall Stelling my outfit." Calix said lightly.

An alarm sliced through the air startling all of us. " It's eating time." A female voice said, but it still sounded like a creepy computer.

"We should give the creepy lady a name guys." I said presenting the idea.

We all suggested the most random names, it came down to CL for creepy lady, Mary, Maple, and Carrot. I was the one who wanted carrot but sadly CL was chosen. Orion kept rubbing it in my face too.

It took us ten minutes total to eat our granola bars and drink a couple cups of water.

"Attention the first room is about to begin get ready at the rainbow wall." We all shuffled our legs over to where CL told us to. Four metal arms extended out of the wall holding army bags. We each grabbed a bag almost falling to the floor with the weight.

"What do you think we're doing for the room."Calix said with a worried look on his face.

"Well from what we're wearing and the supplies we have I'm thinking a forest theme or maybe some kind of survival theme. I mean the announcement yesterday did say we had to survive." Orion said as ruffling through his bag.

I wasn't suprised, when I first met Orion I could see that he had alot going through his head, almost in a calculating way. "Nice detective skills " Sophia muttered.

"Your room starts in 3 seconds." CL said. We glanced at each other before looking forward with a serious expression. I couldn't help but crack a smile.

The wall opened slowly revealing a green landscape with lots of trees and falling leaves that were mixed in with the mud. Without thinking I stepped forward and began walking towards the single tree in the middle of the huge landscape. I could hear the others follow behind me.

CL beeped again and said "Your objective to reach today is to escape from the hidden warriors in the trees they won't attack if they can't see you, so stay close to the ground and achieve the weapons of wisdom, fire, moon, and beauty. When you get the weapons the handler will atomatically know if the weapon chose them."

The scenery around me started changing the tree in the middle of the landscape seemed to be getting miles away along with clusters of more trees popping up all over the place.

When I looked up I could see clouds start to form. "If my memory serves me right those clouds are not going to start rain on us until we reach to about there." Sophia whispered quietly pointing us to a tree 15 feet in front of us.

"My old man taught me that when tree leaves turn inside out or curve inward, it's going to start raining in that area. I never thought it would be useful though because I've never been in a forest, or outside by myself."

(My dad actually did tell me that, and it's true too, he pointed it out to me one day the exact spot where it will start to rain. )

I could hear Orion cursing silently. "This is one of the few things the government doesn't train us for."

Thats when Calix intervened "Hahaha, that's what you think, I actually was trained privately for this by one of the governments..........main leaders." He said the last part more quickly, that was suspicious.

In shock from Calix's statement none of us could say anything other then gaping at him. I guess I can add that to the lists of questions to ask.

Calix continued speaking,"I know that when you're out in the forest head towards the biggest clumps of trees their are, that will provide us with better water, shelter, and better hiding places. When we get there we should camp out, it's already getting dark."

I looked up once again," I can't believe this is only a creation room, it all looks just like the books." The others nodded in agreement, after a few seconds of just hearing the rain pour in the distance and out feet crunching the leaves on the ground I spoke again.

"We have to be careful though, the intercom said that there were hidden warriors in the trees." I was going to tell them to hurry up too, but a sound from above signaled that for me.

We all darted as fast as we could to the bigger clumps of trees but I stopped them just in time before we ran our muddy boots over an old man.

"What's an old man doing here?" Orion questioned. I let my guard down just for a fraction of a second when I was reaching out to the old man.

Worst mistake ever.
