Minerva pov.

I was training with a master assassin when I heard my scroll go off. I left it be at the moment and focused on the assassin in front of me. I swung my right handed claw at him causing him to pull back as he round house kicked me in the side. I stumbled and growled a bit before I charged him only to get a jab to my cheek. I brought my regular left hand to his face right to his jaw. He fell down and rubbed his jaw before pulling a kick to my stomach making me kneel on the ground out of breathe. "Nice try Minerva. Let's call this a draw." He said getting up with me. I laughed and stretched a bit walking over to my scroll. I picked it up seeing the stupid picture of Nathen and I on our first mission together. We had to clear out a warehouse of thugs and stuff. It was actually quite a fun process. I opened it up seeing the message he sent. Hey just met your cousin. He wants to meet you too. Want to visit vale? :p The text read as I chuckled. Of course he was with the Frye twins. The council only recently learned of the fryes disappearance and assumed they went to vale. Despite what the council wanted they knew that vale need help with templars. I started to text back.

Nice. See ya in a few days. I put my scroll away and went to pack my stuff. It would be a nice change of pace. Also it might be nice to catch up with Nathen.

Nathen pov.

It's been a day since I met Roman and stuff. Right now I was sitting in a tree at beacon as I saw Team RWBY making their way around. I shook my head a bit and put in headphones. I nodded my head Cage the elephant- Ain'tno rest for the wicked.(Play if you want.) I jump down out of the tree and walk past Team RWBY as Yang was obviously trying to get my attention. I looked at her and paused my music looking at her. "Yes?" I asked.

"Look Nathen since you beat me what can I do to get you to forgive Ruby and me?" She asked as I saw Ruby looking down behind yang as Weiss and Blake weren't looking our direction.

"What do you think you can do?" I ask looking at her. She is taken back by my answer.

"I don't know that's-" she started to say as I stop her.

"If I tell you what to do then your not truly getting my forgiveness. Only you can know what to do." I say walking off putting my head phones in. I look back to see Ruby and Yang looking at one another. I shake my head a d start thinking about where Velvet and Coco were. I looked at my scroll and saw it was about lunch time so I went to lunch. As I entered I scanned the room only to get angry.

"Ow stop that hurts." I saw Velvet ask as a guy was pulling on her ears. I started to walk my way over there keekeeping a calm yep murderous glare on the team bullying velvet. As I got over to him I popped my neck before tapping his shoulder.

"What do you-" the bully asked turning only to see my fist hitting his jaw. I then grab his shoulders and toss him over the table. I pull velvet behind me as I saw one of the bullies teammates try and grab her. The one i punched was up and rubbing his jaw. "What do you think you're doing?" He demanded as I glared.

"I don't tolerate the discrepancy of others. No matter how they look." I explain as he and his team laughed.

"Oh your a freak lover then." He said as he started to reach for his mace.

"I wouldn't grab that if I were you." I say as he got a look of what are you going to do about it. "If you think you can deal with the consequences then grab it." I dare him as he pulled it out. I pulled up my right arm and shot a sleep dart into his neck. His team stared at me before looking at him. "Who else wants to go? I'm itching for a fist fight." I say cracking my knuckles. His team then did a smart thing and dragged the sleeping one away. I turned to velvet and had her sit down in front of me. "Hey how are your ears?" I asked as she looked to be in tears.

"Thank you." She said hugging me. I hugged back patting her back as Coco came to us.

"Good work." She congratulated me before rubbing velvets ears. "We'll take it from her cutie." I nodded and got up walking away before remembering they were the reason I was even in here. I shrugged and got some lunch before sitting down alone again and started eating.
