Nathen pov.

I put on my jacket as Coco and I walked to the cafeteria which I saw wasn't too crowded. I smiled at her as we parted ways. I went to a lone table and pulled out my scroll and saw a message from Evie. I opened my scroll to see it saying call us. I raised my eyebrow and dailed her number and started waiting. "Hey Nathen." Evie said with relief.

"Hey what's up sis?" I ask seeing someone walk towards me but didn't really pay attention to it.

"It's about one of our contacts here in Vale." She said as I listened. "She wants to meet all 4 of us."

"When?" I asked as I saw the figure right at the table now but to focused on the call to care.

"Sometime after midday." Evie said as I nodded.

"We're not interfering with your classes right?" I heard my brother Jacob say in the background with a laugh.

"You won't be. I was planning on ditching half of them to go templar hunting." I laugh as the figure sat down. I looked over and saw that it was Yang with a look in her eyes. I focused back on the call.

"Good man. Now the person is around your age so don't break her heart to much alright?" Jacob said alot more clearly possibility talking directly into the scroll.

"So I'm am correct in assuming Henry will be joining us?" I asked as Yang started to get a bit irritated. I brushed it off.

"Yes greenie will be joining us. I think Evie is very happy about that." I heard a loud hit followed by. "What was that for?" I laughed at this as he got yelled at.

"I have to go eat." I say partly true since I still had a box of strawberries and whip cream to eat. "I'll wait for your call." I say before hanging up and my face going neutral as I look at Yang. "Yes?" I asked as I grabbed a strawberry prepared to eat it.

"We want you to come back home." She said forward. I roll my eyes. "Look we want to apo-" the sound of whip cream being sprayed interrupted her as I put a bit on my strawberry. "Apologize." She finished with a sigh of annoyance.

"Yeah no." I say as put the fruit in my mouth. She got a bit angry which made me happy inside.

"Please Zewi misses you." She said with a hint of anger in her voice. I shake my head in disbelief.

"You're using the dog to try and get me to come home?" I sighed not even trying to hide how I felt. "If you're so keen to get me back then how about a deal huh?" I say letting the offer hang in the air for a few seconds. "Later today we both Glyndas combat class. We fight in it. If you win I'll forgive you and come to the house. But if I win you drop this forgiveness crap and actually do something meaningful to make it up to me." I say putting my hands on my chin and looked at her as she thought this over. "I'll know your answer when we're in the class." She then got up and walked to her team who seemed to be giving Yang and Ruby a bit of distance. I smiled at this. Finally getting a bit of justice from what they caused. I didn't realize that more people were at my table now until I heard someone clear their throat. I turned my head to see 4 people who I haven't met yet. The 1st was a boy with blonde hair and armor. The 2nd was the famous pyrrha nikos. The 3rd was a girl with orange hair that had a stack of pancakes in front of her while she stared at my strawberries and whip cream. The 4th was a boy with black hair and a pink streak in it. "Oh hi." I say kindly as they stared at me. The girl with orange hair spoke first.

"Can I have some strawberries and whip cream please?" She asked as the boy with black hair was about to lecture.

"Sure take as many strawberries as you want. Just try not to use to much whip cream." I say sliding them to her. She got weird heart eyes for a second before taking a handful of strawberries and dropping them on top before spraying what I had to assume was half the can of whip cream on top. I watched amazed as she started to eat. "So what's up?" I asked the rest of team their.

"Right hi we're team JNPR." The blonde kid said as he gestured to his team nervously. "This is Pyrrha Nikos." He pointed to her.

"Hello." She said cheerfully waving to me while I gave a weird salute.

"That's Nora Valkyrie." He then pointed to the orange haired girl as she was already halfway through her breakfast. "Next to her is Lie Ren." The kid with black hair nodded. "And I am Jaune Arc." He says proudly as I'm taken back. "Short, sweet,-" he started to say.

"Rolls off the tongue, Ladies love it." I say finishing his sentence as he stared at me confused.

"How did you know that he was going to say that?" Ren asked as I smiled.

"The arc name is pretty famous where I'm from." I say as jaune was still confused about this.

"How what?" Jaune questioned me as I laughed.

"What do you know about you great grandfather?" I ask as he shrugged.

"Not much. Only that he died protecting a bunch of people." He stated while looking down. "What does that have to do with me?"

"Your great grandfather was a very skilled assassin." I say as nora tilted her head.

"What? My father was a great man not some killer." Jaune said offended as I held up my hand.

"Yes he was. I'm an assassin too. We aren't some band of killers Jaune. We protect the interests of the public. He saved many lives." I explain as he seemed to calm down.

"What did he do?" Pyrrha asked.

"He basically saved an entire brotherhood over in Atlas." I chuckle remembering the story. "He stood against 3 grandmaster Templars that were trying to blow up a factory since it was also where some injured assassins went to get better. Inside were a bunch of workers that were human, faunus, hell there were even some children in the factory." I say as Jaune smiled slightly. A loud burp interrupted me and I noticed nora had completely finished her pancakes. I applauded her burp. "Nice push. But if it wasn't for your Grandfather those people would be dead." I say leaning back. "He was able to take down all 3 and decided to settle down a bit after being named a grandmaster assassin. He got a beautiful wife and had 2 kids. His son didn't stay with the brotherhood but his daughter decided to stay and she continued the arc assassins bloodline."

"How do you know this story?" Pyrrha asked as I smiled.

"From his cousin." I say as Jayne got more confused.

"I don't have any cousins." He said aloud as I laughed.

"Your cousin is in my brotherhood." I explain as I pulled my scroll out to show him. "Her name is Minerva Arc."

I showed him the picture of her in her outfit. "That's my cousin?" He asked as I nodded.

"She's been nicknamed the queen of stealth." I said as I got to the next picture.

"Wow." Nora said taking my scroll from me. "She's hot." I laughed as I took back my scroll.

"Yeah she's scary." I say as my laugh faded. "Shes very deadly with a sniper and she switched up her gauntlet for some weird glove that works better than the hidden blade at times." I explain.

"So you're saying that by relation I could be an assassin?" Jaune asked as I held my hand up.

"So so. It depends on how strong your mind is." I say with my hand moving in a so so fashion.

"Why what do they make you do?"

"Take an LSD trip." I said causally. They stared at me concerned. "Oh trust me it's a lot better than the old initiations. Something about getting your middle finger cut off." The bell then rung. "Welp we should be off to our first class. See ya." I say getting up and ran to Mr. Ooblecks class getting there just in time.
