As the airbus touched down and the odst stepped out followed by the two girls attached to to him in his arms as many people who noticed them saw it as cute or something along those lines. As JD got to know the girls as Karina and Sirin. Both as much as JD knew their parents were killed by the white fang. So when they arrived in Mistral the capital of the Kingdom of Mistral, so rookie knew that he needed some money to feed his family and buy a house and take care of them.

As the people walked down the sidewalk and some people avoided the ODST others made insults at him thinking that he was from Atlas. The rookie ignored them but Sirin tightened her grip with her small hands letting him know that they were scaring her. Rookie picked her up and Sirin hugged him around his neck as Karina held onto his hand tightly. As they walked before an explosion rocked behind the Rookie surprising wondering who wanted to cause some trouble. He turned around to see and his blood turned cold, as a Covenant Brute Cheiftain came out of the dust and debris roaring at the citizens, the citizens who saw it ran like hell. Rookie luckily hid behind in alleyway with a brick wall and a dumpster next to it.

Rookie: alright I need two to hide behind the dumpster, I promise you once I'm done with that beast I'll come right back and pick you two up.

Sirin & Karina: o-okay papa!

As the two hid behind the dumpster rookie pulled out his Bowie knife and his pistol and walked out.
The Brute chieftain noticed the ODST and Roared seeing the Imp coming at him.

Covenant Cheiftain: I will rip you apart limb to limb before killing you imp!

The Rookie avoided the Brutes gravity hammer as it smashed into the ground creating a spider web of cracks as the Rookie ducked and shot the chieftain several times before the brute could turn and smash him into paste he claimed onto the back of the chieftain, who roared in anger.

A news crew nearby was recording this incident live as the world watched the two fight it to the death an Alien Brute Cheiftain vs a ODST with the skills of a Spartan warrior. The Brute gave a rage filled roar trying to get the ODST off him as for the ODST keep up his assault as he plunges the Bowie knife into the brute's neck as a the brute tried to stop the attacker but the odst keep up his attack before killing the Brute by stabbing into its spine and skull and twisted it with a audible "Crack" was heard as the Brute soon fell face first into the ground as the odst ducked and rolled away and walked away with purple blood all over the odst's body.

Anyone who watched the two fight was either scared, afraid, surprised, reviled, or just literally god smacked as the ODST didn't even give two shits before shooting the camera recording him.
