It was dark out as the sound of footsteps echoed through the trees as a SMG fire filled the air as two Beowolves collapsed behind him dead before disappearing as rookie looked around trying to remember how why he was here and not died, but that would be for another time as another Beowolf tried to attack him only for it to fall dead a few feet away from rookie.

Rookie decided to would be best to get the hell out of there and booked it and ran escaping whatever else was chasing him until it tripped and rolled onto to itself losing it target. Rookie not seeing his pursuer anymore as he reached the downtown side of the city he stopped and bent down putting his hands on his knees and breathe heavily.

Rookie: 'holy shit I just survived against massive rabies induced wolves. Now here am I?'

As he looked around noticing that he wasn't on his planet Earth or any of the UNSC colony worlds. He gripped his SMG tightly and began walking through the empty streets until the rain started falling as rookie looked up as thunder roared overhead as rookie noticed that the city he arrived in looked like a warzone happened.

Slowly walking through the streets some in complete darkness others still had light, and others were hanging on to dear life as its light flashed quickly. As glass was stepped on and looked around as his visor automatically turned on Night vision on and he noticed two small white dots on his hud, he cautiously began to walk towards the area until a explosion rocked the building nearby as two white fang holding guns were walking towards someone or something so he got close before firing his silenced SMG killing the two instantly by the head and carefully walked over the bodies and into a into a alleyway by this time the rain got heavy and he noticed two children both girls one being older then the other. When they saw him they looked at him surprised and fearful.

Both appeared fine physically but mentally was still probably was good. Rookie gently placed the guns down and kicked it to the side before grabbing his helmet and pulled it off his head, before setting it down. Before he spoke up he carefully choose his words, as his brown hair and Heterochromia eyes one being light blue the other being orange similar to the girls and a dark brown goatee growing on his face.

JD: where are your parents?

Older sister sibling: they said they to stay her until they come back.

Younger sibling: buw they haven't yet.

(JD) Rookie: I see...

Rookie: 'i guess I could take them under my wing until I can find any information about their parents. Here it goes.'

Rookie: I would like to adopt you two under my wing until I can find out about your parents.

The two hugged the ODST with their small arms as the rookie smiled before hugging them back and then put on his helmet on and picked up his firearms and told them to stay behind him. The three moved through the destroyed city as Rookie took out any Grimm and white fang that could cause problems.

Until he reached a section of the city which looked at in it top condition, as rookie notice a red bot coming at fast as he pushed the girls away just in time as a Beowolf jumped onto him pushing him down to the ground as he armor arm was caught in the razor sharp jaws of the wolf the youngest girl under his care her eyes glowed orange before she could do anything a loud "Bang!" Struck the beowolf square in the skull killing it as Rookie pushed the Grimm corse now disappearing off him and got up as the two girls hugged him crying their hearts afraid of losing him. As young man walked up giving his hand out and the rookie accepted the gesture and help him up.

Huntsman: never thought I would see a military man and certainly not from around here with two girls. Oh I'm sorry I didn't introduce my the names is Loden Chaney you can just call me Lon for short.

Rookie: thank you Lon. Do you know here the nearest rest stop.

Lon: sure DJ it's a bit busy at the moment, with people who lost their home and family members, I'm sure you and these cute ones will be given enough supplies before the next Airbus arrives in *checks the time* another six hours.

The two men went their separate ways one carrying the two girls to the rest stop and huntsman going out to do his job.
