Hotel room 8 days later

Y/n was sitting in a hotel room enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and the cold air conditioned room

Y/n looks at the screen as cheering people could be seen

News reporter: it's pretty packed out here with omnics and humans here together as they all want to see Mondatta talk about human-omnic relationships

The cheers got even louder as y/n could see the signs there as he turns off his tv

Y/n: *sighs* better get ready

He's been here for a while and landed safely in kings row but he couldn't bring himself to visits Lena oxton aka tracer he could've but he can't bring himself to let her get hurt if someone knows him

Y/n then gets dressed in his suit making sure the carbon fiber is intact inside the suit

Y/n then looks over and puts in a handgun in suit jacket

But he only carried that because something bigger would draw attention especially in kings row

Y/n then gets up making sure he locks his door as the sun is setting making his way towards kings row for mondattas speech

As mondatta gave his speech y/n looked above as he felt something wrong seeing someone leap across a rooftop as he was in the back row he made up way up the building avoiding any suspicion

As he made his way up the stairs he hears gunshots

He grabs his gun turns off the safety and making sure it's loaded ran his way up the stairs

Y/n: "I knew those bastards over at talon would do something like this"

He then rushed up seeing 2 women firing at each other ones Lena aka tracer while the other one is an assassin known only as widowmaker

Y/n then sees widowmaker fire at tracer using her assault rifle mode and sees her run Away while tracer hides behind cover

Y/n then runs after her jumping across the rooftops following her but stopped seeing the roof across was a long way

Y/n: *sighs* "better hope this works"

He then gets to a running start and jumps landing perfectly on the roof

Y/n then sees her attack one of mondattas bodyguards and then points his pistol and fired a shot to her shoulder

Widowmaker then grunts our in pain seeing a bullet wound on her shoulder and sees the man who had shot her holding a pistol

Widowmaker: who are you?

Y/n: no one *chrages at her*

Y/n then tackled widowmaker down as she tries to fire her gun but y/n reversed the hold and began to ground and pound the purple assassin and as he aimed his pistol towards her head, however she then headbutfs him

Y/n stumbles seeing lights in his vision and holds his nose feeling it dislocated he then sees her with her rifle at the ready

Widowmaker: (French) goodbye

She then shoots him in the chest 3 times as he falls down to the ground below

Y/n falls down on a parked car there denting it and smashing the windows below

Y/n: *groans* shit ow that hurts

He then sees tracer and widowmaker firing at each other. Getting an idea he sprints out of the alleyway

Timeskip if you watched alive you know what comes next

An explosion happens as mondatta his bodyguards and the crowd of people Gawk and look at the explosion

As widowmaker aims at tracer

She fired as tracer then uses her chronal accelerator to get out of the bullets path

As mondatta and his security look at the explosion someone pushed mondatta out of the way as the bullet hit the mans body sending him spiraling out into the limo as the crowd gasps in shock

Security: GET AWAY... get away from the man mondatta

They push him away but mondatta says this

Mondatta: it's okay he saved my life

Security: but sir

Random bystander: he saved him he wasn't trying to hurt him

Other protests followed as omnic and humans defended the man

???: oooh oof... you okay mondatta

The man stood up revealing y/n wick

"That's y/n wick"

"No way that's him"

The crowd murmured but the security team then aims their guns at y/n who puts his hands up

Security: stay still don't move

Y/n: I wasn't trying to hurt mondatta

Security: okay then what... sir

Y/n: you must get mondatta somewhere safe and away from here

Mondatta: sir you have my deepest thanks

He shakes y/n's hand as the crowd cheers

Y/n: get him out of here now

The security team then moves mondatta behind some cover and into another limo as y/n makes his way through the crowd and up to the rooftops

Tracer had widowmaker pinned to the ground mistaking y/n's body for mondatta she had charged at her as widowmaker unknowingly used her grappling hook to slow her tackle

Tracer: why? Why would you do this

Only for a dark chuckle to come from widowmaker as a talon ship hovers above the 2 women

Using the distraction she grasps tracers jacket collar

Widowmaker: (French) goodbye darling

As she sends tracer down into the alleyway she damaged her accelerator as she falls down hurt and tries to get up

Widowmaker then looks down as she goes into the talon airship unaware that mondatta is alive and well

Y/n goes up the roof top as he then looks seeing the talon ship flying away

Widowmaker while shocked he had survived smirks at him and gives him a wave goodbye mocking him

Y/n gripped his hand letting blood come out

Y/n: "I'll find you Donavan I will and I'll end your little allegiance"

He then looks around as he then looks over the roof seeing tracer there

Y/n: "Lena" *he decided to jump down next to her*

Y/n lands with a soft grunt as he goes to her

Y/n: *shakes tracer gently* Lena.... lena are you okay?

Tracer then looks up seeing the person who she still has feelings for and the man who helped inspired her and the younger and older members of overwatch during the omnic crisis

Tracer: y/n wick it's been a long time

Y/n: *smiles gently* it has... my little chipmunk

Tracer: I've never liked that name

Y/n: no you haven't... *he then noticed her hand was disappearing in a blue light meaning that her accelerator was damaged and of something wasn't done she'll be stuck and fading in and out of time again* shit

Tracer: my accelerator it's damaged there's nothing we can do

Y/n: theres something I can do

Tracer: what do you mean?

Y/n then removed a syringe from his suit jacket filled with a glowing blue liquid

Y/n: since Winston made the chronal accelerator. I had came up with something that can stop you from depending on the accelerator and since it's in your DNA I've found a way to stop you from phasing in and out of time

Tracer: really how?

Y/n: years of patience Lena

He then grabs her arm as he finds a vein in her arm injecting it he sees the liquid inside glow blue as he sees her hand that was disappearing reform back

He then withdraws a ring from his suit and puts it on her.

Tracer then travels back to where she was on the roof before she rushed down to y/n hugging him tightly

Tracer: thank you... thank you thank you.. thank you y/n you helped me

Y/n: well it's no problem besides that ring can function as your chronal accelerator

Lena: *looks y/n up and down subtly checking out his butt* love it's been a long time

Y/n: it's been good but I must go

Only for Lena's hand to grasp his tightly

Lena: y/n I know what happened 13 months ago and I'm sorry but please for 2 days stay here and catch up with me you can stay at my apartment

Y/n couldn't help but feel free and Lena's puppy eyes made him cave in

Y/n: *sighs* alright only for a little while though

Lena: yaaay thanks *hugs him tightly*

Lena then separates from him

Y/n: but first let me get my car and check out of the hotel I've been staying at

Timeskip (also y/n already told Lena that mondatta is safe and sound)

Y/n and Lena stood outside of her apartment with y/n holding a duffel bag and another one in both hands

Lena: also *nervous sigh* I would like for you to meet someone that's been staying with me a while

Lena: okay *opens door with keys* Emily I'm home and I have a guest

The shuffling of feet is heard as y/n spots a red haired woman with freckles come into his view wearing a green scarf

(Who else has to admit she's beautiful)

Emily: Lena your back *kisses her on cheek and hugs her* *she then noticed y/n there* and who's this

Lena: Emily this *points to y/n* is y/n wick a close friend and former member of overwatch

Emily: *gasps* wait as in y/n wick the ronin the man who helped saved vale and the on of the heroes of the omnic crisis

Y/n: that's me alright nice to meet you miss Emily *offers hand*

Emily: on no it's my pleasure *goves her hand to his but he kisses it making her go red as Lena pouted a little*

(Remember y/n wick may be an assassin, man on a mission but he doesn't forget his manners especially since he's always been like that)

Emily: so Lena offered you a home for a little while?

Y/n: just somewhere to get my mind off things

Emily: well our home is your home

Y/n: thanks hey is there somewhere I can change into some sleep clothes I can't wear this suit while sleeping

Emily: sure bathrooms up ahead just don't wreck anything

Y/n: I promise

He then goes to the bathroom as Lena and Emily watch him go

Lena: so what do you think?

Emily: I can definitely see why you talk about him so much he's a catch darling

Lena: yeah and don't try to hit on him to much he needs time to heal

Emily: don't worry Lena I won't....maybe?

Y/n was in the bathroom as he looks around seeing it was quite spacious

Y/n: "for somewhere like kings row it's actually nice here"

He then puts on a pair of sleeping pants and a tight white t shirt but he couldn't help but look at the bruises caused by widowmaker's bullets if it wasn't for his suit he would've been really in trouble

He then makes it back as Lena passes him

Lena: I gotta change if your hungry help yourself to the fridge

Y/n: no problem thanks again

Lena: no problem love

He then goes to the couch and leans back enjoying the moment of peace
