"We've been driving for hours," Josh complained. "Are we there yet?"

"Just shut up!" I yelled. "It's like twentieth time you've asked that."

"Actually, he asked twenty-one times."

"Oh shut it, nerd." I can't believe he counted.

It was 6:38 pm and we're still travelling down the road to who knows where. I'm beginning to think that we probably took the wrong path.

"Hey, cupcake!" Cupcake?! "Try to call them again."

"Um, sure. By the way, don't call me cupcake." Seriously, please don't ever give me nicknames. Especially nicknames that are food. I ain't something for you people to eat.

I took out my phone and dialed Allison's number but nobody picked up.

"Still no signal, I guess," I announced.

"Well, isn't it obvious?" Josh sounded pissed. "We're in the middle of who knows where so expect there to be no signal."

"You don't need to talk like that, you know."

"And you don't need to be so annoying."

And with that, we began fighting. Again.

"Don't be such a cranky jerk."

"Cranky? Who you callin' a cranky jerk, you little b-"

"SHUT UP!"

And there was silence. As Josh and I were about to speak again, a voice similar as Dave's spoke. It was obviously Luke and he was freaking pissed.

"If you two idiots don't shut the fuck up, you'll both regret it later."

"So?" Josh taunts. I thwacked the back of his head so he'd shut up.

"I mean it, Thompson." Luke glares at Josh and after that everyone was on silent mode. All we could hear was the soft sound of the song that was playing on the car's speakers and the humming of the engine.

We continued our drive and after about an hour the caravan came to a stop.

"What happened?" The nerd asked, putting his book down.

"Um guys..." We all looked at Dave.

"We're out of gas."

* * * * *

"So this is your plan?" Josh looks unsatisfied. "We stay here and you guys go and get help."

"Yeah." Dave seemed proud of his idea which wasn't really something to be impressed about. "Y'all okay with it, right?"

"It's a good plan, but there's one thing I don't agree on," Luke was thinking.

"What?" Dave asked his twin.

"I don't think that you walking around in the dark with her is a good idea." Now that he mentioned it I think it's definitely a bad idea. I mean, something could happen.

"But-"

"You," Luke points at the nerd, "go with her."

"Wha-"

"Shut it Dave. You two, go now."

Following Captain Luke's orders, the nerd and I left. It was silent  between us two. No one spoke and all we could hear was the sound of nature.

As I was walking, I felt like I stepped something hard but sort of squishy under my shoe. When I moved my foot away, a frog jumped and sat on it.

"Eek!! A f-frog!" I shook off the slimy creature then tried to hit it with a pebble. I got tired of chasing it so I sat on a log trying to calm down. I looked at the nerd and he was laughing like crazy.

"What's so funny?" I looked at him.

Calming down, he spoke. "You should've seen your face. It was s-so... Hahaha!"

"What face? Oh, you mean this face?" I made a funny face and  he laughed. I made more funny faces until he laughed so hard that his tummy began to hurt.

"S-stop it! Haha--- Ouch!"

"Hahaha!" I watched him trying to sit up.

"Don't laugh," he says, embarrassed.

"Now we're even." I helped him up and we began walking.

I was beginning to get tired, but got my energy back as I saw a glimpse of light up ahead.

"Hey, there's something up ahead!" I exclaimed. We both ran to it and when we got there we knew that we were saved.

* * * * *

"I'm hungry," Josh says out of the blue.

"We just ate dinner. How could you get hungry?"

"It wasn't enough. If you just didn't take most of the dessert, I'd be all stuffed right now."

"I didn't take the- Wait... Oh, yeah. I did." Everyone laughed and talked as we headed to our cabins. We're actually at a camping site near some town. After we brought some gas back to the caravan, we drove to this place and decided to stay here for now until we get in contact with Allison again.

"I still can't contact her." Allison isn't picking up her phone or probably she turned it off. I'm beginning to get really worried.

"We'll call her again in the morning," nerd says. "In the meantime, we'll just stay here and wait for them."

As we finally reached our cabins, we all greeted each other goodnight and separated ways. Well, of course, I'm staying alone in my cabin. I don't feel safe around the guys. Who knows what dangerous and evil things could happen? I obviously don't wanna know.

As I was about to lock the door, someone knocked.  I opened the door only to reveal a tall playboy who was standing there with a mischievous grin on his face.

So I slammed the door close in front of his stupid face and locked it.

"Hey, open up!" Dave bangs on the door.

"Go to bed!" I yelled.
