Maddie, Rowena, and Marcy

Since it's been a while, I decided to hang out with just Marcy and I for a day. A little rundown on a day with Marcy, either playing video games or studying. She wanted to study the plant life in Wartwood. "Classic MarMar, studying plants." I said. "Croc's eye conifer, what a find." Marcy smiled. "And they said compiling a plantcyclopedia would be boring." Suddenly, someone started screaming in the forest. "That doesn't sound good." I said. Marcy loaded her crossbow just in case a monster was around. We run closer in the woods to see Maddie fighting off a tree that came to life. "No frogging way, a curse user, here?!" Marcy asked. "Yeah, that's Maddie, she helped us when another frog cursed us." I explained. "She also used to be engaged to Sprig, it's a long story." After Maddie finished talking with her little sisters, Marcy decided to introduce herself. "Hi there!" Marcy introduced as Maddie threw a spell just past her. "My name's Marcy." Marcy fell on her face and her cloak caught on fire. "Oops, you Anne and Rowena's friend, right?" Maddie asked. "Sup, Maddie." I greeted as I used the fire extinguisher on Marcy's cloak. "Oh my gosh, that was the coolest thing ever!" Marcy exclaimed. "Some kind of low grade fire curse." "I'm impressed you knew that." Maddie said. "Do you also have an interest in the dark arts?" "Are you kidding?" I asked. "Marcy's read every single Cynthia Coven book five times." "I've searched all over Newtopia for someone who could teach me, but, magic users are so rare these days." Marcy explains. "Wow, no one's ever been interested in what I do!" Maddie gasped. "They usually run away screaming." "Baby, I'm running towards you." Marcy said. "How do you feel about that?" "I have a feeling like a beautiful friendship is about to start." Maddie replied. "You guys wanna be my apprentices and help me bring a dead flea back to life?" "Do I ever?" Marcy asked, fixing her bangs to look like Maddie. "I've got nothing better to do, so why not." I replied. "Just as long as I don't get a magic staff that connects me with salamanders." "Deal." Maddie said.

A little bit later, Maddie made a list of ingredients for her spell. "Okay, to bring this flea back to life, we need a few more ingredients." Maddie explains. "First up, bile of a vomit bird." The bird threw up on us. "Then, some big ol' ticks." Ticks began biting us. "A really rotted corpse." We found a corpse, but it turned out it was just Hop Pop. "Did you girls just mistake me for a corpse?" Hop Pop asked. "Of corpse not, Hop Pop." Marcy joked. "Fresh soil from a graveyard." Maddie continued. "Assorted limbs." "And lastly, a high five from your new best buds." Marcy and I gave Maddie a high five.

After that montage, we dropped off Maddie at the bakery. "Welp, this is me." Maddie explains. "I hope my sisters are asleep, I do not want to deal with them right now." "What's wrong with your little sisters?" Marcy asked. "It's a long story, I used to play with them all the time, especially juggling, their favorite." Maddie replied. "Then, I got my own interests, magic became my passion, my calling, I didn't have time to waste on kid's stuff anymore, and ever since then, they've been so annoying." "As someone who goes hard into her hobbies, I relate, but, don't you think you should still make time for them occasionally?" Marcy asked. "Marcy is onto something, I think I know how you feel, back at home, when Marcy would be hanging out with Anne and Sasha, I would always love hanging out with my older sister." I explained. "But, after getting zapped into Amphibia, I missed her every day, I still do, what I'm trying to say is, make every moment in life count, something could happen to your sisters tomorrow, making you have regrets that you'd never be able to fix." "Nonsense, being a witch is a big responsibility, guys, I've got more important things to do now than babysit." Maddie said. "Well, you are the master." Marcy smiled as we began to walk back to the house. "See you at the sacrificial grove tomorrow for our unholy ritual."

The next morning, Marcy and I met Maddie in the woods. "Check it out, my first successful curse!" Marcy exclaimed. "Some kind of horrible abomination." "Yeah, that's horrifying." I replied. "You okay, Maddie?" "I'm so done with my sisters, look what they did to my spell book!" Maddie complained, showing some graffiti on her book. "Yeesh, they didn't even color inside the lines." Marcy said. "Whatever, they won't stop me from reaching level 2, let's get to resurrecting." Maddie explains, pouring the curse on the dead flea, when suddenly, the flea moved. "It's alive, IT'S ALIVE!" Marcy gasped. "Either that or there's a slight breeze." "We did it, we did it!" Maddie cheered. "I'm finally a level 2 witch!" All of a sudden, a huge shadow covered us. We looked up to see one of Maddie's sisters, who was a lot bigger than yesterday. "Maddie!" She yelled. "Fleafi!" Maddie cried. "Holy frog abuse!" I shouted. "Wait, aren't your sisters triplets?!" "Found you!" Her sister shouted. "Wait, Ginger?" Maddie asked. "You wanted us to grow up." Ginger said as the other two sisters landed in the woods. "So here we are!" Rosemary added. "Oh, no, they didn't!" Maddie panicked. "Didn't what?" Marcy asked. "Come on, Maddie!" Lavender shouted. "Play with us!" "Hide-and-seek!" We ran away from them, which probably wasn't the best idea, they followed us back to town. We hid behind a house from the triplets. "This is insane!" Marcy exclaimed. "Why would they curse themselves with some half-baked growth spell?" "Oh, no, it's because I told them they needed to grow up, they only did this to spend more time with me, and it's bad, really bad!" Maddie explains. "They did the spell all wrong." "How can you tell?" Marcy asked. "Well, first of all, they look big enough to be King Andrias' kids." I replied. "Because they're still growing!" Maddie added. "A curse like that should be done already, at this rate, they'll balloon until they explode!" "Found you!" Rosemary shouted. "Now we hide." Ginger said. "And you seek." Lavender added as they started to destroy the town. "WHERE ARE ANNE AND SPRIG WHEN YOU NEED THEM!" I cried. The triplets began crying about how big they were getting. "We gotta do something!" Maddie shouted. "Like what?" Marcy asked.

Maddie took Marcy and I back to the woods. She sent us to look for ingredients for her antidote. "Alright, Maddie, we got all the ingredients for the antidote." I explained. "Good, I need you guys to make four doses while I calm them down." Maddie explains. "But, I'm not ready for that level of potion making." Marcy said. "Wait, four antidotes, why four?" "Because one of them, is for me!" Maddie exclaimed as she gave herself the growing curse to talk with her sisters.

After we finished the antidotes, Marcy and I ran closer to Maddie, who was juggling the triplets. "Grab on!" Marcy shouted as I grabbed onto her and she aimed her crossbow towards Maddie's belt and we climbed up. "Maddie, get ready!" I exclaimed as I used one of Sprig's slingshots to launch the curses, returning them all back to their normal sizes. "Nice job with those antidotes, apprentices." Maddie complimented. "Well, we do have a great teacher." I said. "Maddie, Maddie, you're the best sister ever!" The triplets cheered. "No, I'm not, because of me, you three almost exploded." Maddie sighed. "I got so caught up with my witch stuff that I forgot that being a good older sister is my responsibility, too." "We forgive you." The triplets replied. "No, you should be mad at me, I'm mad at me, let me have it, really, I deserve it." Maddie explains. "We love you, Maddie." They said. "I love you too, you little scamps." Maddie replied, hugging them. "Now that's magic." Marcy said. "Oh my gosh, everyone look!" We looked in her direction to see that the flea was still alive. "Bring it in Fleafi, you creepy freak of nature." I said squeezing the flea tight, but accidentally decapitating it. "FLEAFI!"
