Y/n's POV

A week until school ends. Wow! Daniel has been coming over a bit more often. Dad has noticed and keeps staring him down when he comes over. This of course makes Daniel freeze up and I have to drag him away so he doesn't feint.

The teachers always seem to dump homework on us just to be like, "SCHOOL IS NOT OUT YET!" Seriously the gym coahc houted that last Thursday and my ears are still ringing.

"Ok ladies. Last game, make it count! We can't lose to Falconclaw this year. Am I understood?" I asked as we sat in the lockerroom. They all nod. "Good, encouragement! Go!" I said snapping my fingers. "We're strong and fast. We got this!" "We've won every game so far, we can do it again." "Burn brightly!"

I nod "good! LEt's go!" I chant and we walk out onto the court as they announce us. "And now we have the Pheonix Drop Lady Pheonixes. Led by Y/n Ro'meave!" I nod to my cheering family with a grin. We walk to the benches.

"First five, you know who you are?" The five nod and I have them stand on the edge of the sideline. "Captains please shake hands." I stand and walk to the Falconclaw girl.

"Good luck. You'll need it." She smirked and I scowled. "Other way around. My last game will not be a loss." She scowled and we walked back to our teams. the whistle blew and the five ran onto the court and set up for the starting jump.

The ball was thrown up and our jumper knocked it to Lacy. She dribbled down the court quickly but a Falcon stole the ball from her. "Chase her!" I yelled and Vannessa caught up with her.

"Penelope C'mon get ready." We set up by the judge table. "Switching in 23 and 9 for 18 and 22." I high-fived them as they passed and set up to block the falconclaw girl. They pssed it in and I took off down the court.

I stole the ball and reversed the opposite direction. "I'm open! Y/n!" I stopped and threw it to her. She caught it and shot from the three-point line. It circled the rim before falling in. "YES!" The benched girls cheered.

"C'mon just like that ladies!" I said and we set up again. The game continued with Falconclaw scoring more points as well as us. "30 seconds and the score is tied at 26-26!" "Ok you hear him. One more layup and we win. Nickie I'm trusting you to make the shot. Girls watch her. When she is open and beside the goal pass to her." They all nod.

I clap and they walk onto the court. As the shrill whistle filled my ears I could jsut feel that we were gonna win. "Run Nickie!" The benched girls yelled beside me and I realized she was almost to the basket.

"PAss it!" Jordan passed it to her and she dribbled it before shooting. IT balanced on the rim for a monet before falling into the net. 'wOO! WAY TO GO LADIES!" I cheered as hte cluck buzzed 0.

They all run over and I passed them water bottles as the others cheered. "Way to go. This was a good game. Let's go high five them then change." They all nod still giddy over the win.

"Good game. good game. good game." As the couches approached she gave me a sour look and ignored my hand. "Rude." I muttered and led them intot he lockers.

"Way to go Y/n!" Daniel cheered as I walked over to them outside the gym. "You girls did good." Mom congratulated as did my brothers, minus Zane who ascted like he didn't know us.

"IT was worth it. It really was. I'm glad we got to play and have fun this year." THey nodded and Iw aved bye to Daniel. "So what is the status between you and the werewolf?" Dad asked as we drove home.

"Garte!" Mum reprimanded as I looked down blushing. "It's hard to explain." "Oh?" Garroth gave me a look and I mirrored him.
