Travis's POV:

'something's off with Zane. He's not telling me something. I can feel it. he's been off since he got off the phone with Dante. Did Dante say something to him that he didn't like? Did Zane say something? Whatever. I'll find out when we get back...... Or I could just ask him.'

"Travis the light is green."

"huh? right." I start driving again.

~after 10 minutes of silence~

~time skip brought to you by TRAFFIC!!!~

Still Travis's POV:

"Hey, Zane? Are you ok?"

"Ya, I'm fine." He smiles at me and I look back to the road. Then out of the corner of my eye I see Zane fidgeting with his hands. I start to pull over.

"Travis what are you doing? We're not home yet." I pull over and turn in my seat and grab his chin and look deep into his blue eyes. He blushes.

"Travis what are you doing!"

"Something's off what's going on with you?"

"N-nothing!"

"Tell me the truth Zane I know you we've known each other since high school and we've been together for 5 years ( A/N: I think it been a while. Correct me if I'm wrong) I know you!"

"I'm fine Travis." He starts fidgeting with his hands again. I grab his hands.

"You only do this when something's bothering you! Tell me what Dante did! or did you do something? SAY SOMETHING ZANE!! What happens when you were texting Dante!"

"Travis I...I can't tell you.."

"Why not. Zane what do I have to do to prove to you that I love you?! were married, Zane. no more secrets Zane Please why can't you tell me?!"

"It would.."He starts crying."I CANT TRAVIS!! It would break your heart!"

I let go of his hand."What happened with you and Dante." He shakes his head.

I start tearing up."Zane tell me. Please!"

" Dante he said..."

"What did Dante say?"

"I can't tell you he's going to explain everything when we get back."

"Why are we heading back?"

"He was going explain that to. but we need to go now!" I nod and start driving again. We sit there in silence for the rest of the way home.

~at the house~

Still Travis's POV:

We walk into the house and see Dante sitting on the couch waiting for us.

"NOW CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON!?"

"thank you Zane for not telling him." Zane nods and sits next to Dante on the couch leaving me to sit on the armchair across from them. I sit down and they explain what's going on slowly.

"W-What are you talking about? Dante? Zane? My dad would never do this!"

"He might not but the shadow lord would. Travis, he's been hiding this from you your entire life! you need to let it go."

"NO!!"

"you're just like I was when I found out about Vylad. You're not in the best place right now but I need to go save my husband from my brother and your father."

Dante's POV:

I turn to Zane who was sitting next to me on the couch."You can stay with him Zane if you want." He nods and I head to my car and go after Travis's dad leaving them on the couch to talk. "I Need to get Lucinda too. She's the only one who can 'take care of' Terry and save Vylad!!" I shrug."I'll go over there now and get her to come with." I head over to Lucinda's house. I explain what's going on to her."WHAT YOU KNEW THIS WHOLE TIME?! LUCINDA WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?! how did you figure out it was Terry who did it?"

"I'm a witch Dante. plus I'm not an idiot. I knew something was off with Vylad since the day he got out of the coma. I traced the magics from him to Tarry's place."

"Why didn't you tell me?!"

"THAT'S NOT IMPORTANT KNOW! sorry for yelling, but this isn't the time or the place. we need to leave as soon as possible." I nod and go home to get ready I also text Zane and Travis to say their goodbyes and act casually like we're just going on a trip for the weekend. We are...Sort of at least. was going of to..well.. kill Terry.
