Chapter 1 - The Bloody Party

"Lady Anna?" Kai's voice reached out in the early morning.

"Huh, yeah?" Anna says, rising up to sit in her bed and rubbing those tired eyes of hers.

"Lady Anna? Did I wake you?" Kai calls out again behind Anna's bedroom door.

"Oh no you didn't, I've been up for hours," Anna replies and yawns. Her strawberry blonde hair is a messy bush. Slowly she leans her chin on her hand and her eyes shut slowly again.

Slowly Anna begins to fall and she regains her posture with a startle. "Who is it?" She asks with a tiny snoring sound.

"Still me Lady Anna," Kai says and is being as patient as he can in this situation.

"The gates will open soon, time to get ready!" Kai says in a friendly manner.

Anna stretches out her arms and yawns again. "Of course. Ready for what?" She asks, still being sleepy.

"Your sister's birthday and her taking over with decision making," Kai says and sighs quietly.

"Mm... my sister's party," Anna mumbles and blinks her eyes tiredly, looking at her outfit - a black and green dress with short sleeves that's hanging on her clothes rack.

Then she finally remembered what day it finally was.

"Ah it's the party day!" Anna gasps.

She hopped out from bed and rushed to grab her dress. It was the day she had been waiting for for ages. Finally she would meet new people! Quickly she got dressed and managed to do her hair in a braid and make it into a bun. Then she rushed outside from her room.

She felt like singing, her blue eyes sparkled in excitement. She rushed to look out from the window and saw how the inner gates were opened to their home. The people from Arendelle and even from the outside world could soon arrive to greet them. It had been years since the last real contact with other survivors.

She began singing from the bottom of her heart which was beating so joyfully. She kept running around the halls, making contact with all of the people who had been working in their family for ages.

"The window is open, so's that door

I didn't know they did that anymore

Who knew we owned a thousand salad plates?

For years I've roamed these empty halls

Why have a ballroom with no balls?

Finally they're opening up the gates"

Truly she had been alone, going through the rooms and playing alone. Her parents had always been too busy with their research and Elsa had been keeping her distance. She had even made friends with some statues and paintings - how crazy is that!

"There'll be actual real live people

It'll be totally strange

Wow, am I so ready for this change

'Cuz for the first time in forever

There'll be music, there'll be light

For the first time in forever

I'll be dancing through the night

Don't know if I'm elated or gassy

But I'm somewhere in the zone

'Cuz for the first time in forever

I won't be alone"

Anna paused for a moment when she stood in front of a handsome looking statue. " I can't wait to meet everyone! What if I meet.. the one?" She said gasping and then continued singing of her romantic interest.

"Tonight imagine me gown and all, fetchingly draped against the wall

A picture of sophisticated grace

I suddenly see him standing there, a beautiful stranger, tall and fair

I wanna stuff some chocolate in my face

But then we laugh and talk all evening,

Which is totally bizarre

Nothing like the life I've lead so far

For the first time in forever

There'll be magic, there'll be fun

For the first time in forever

I could be noticed by someone

And I know it's totally crazy

To dream I'd find romance

But for the first time in forever

At least I've got a chance"

Meanwhile a platinum blonde beauty dressed in a formal looking green and purple outfit was also watching out from the window. Seeing all the people rushing inside was making her feel anxious. She turned around and rubbed her hands together.

Elsa was also known for her singing and how she sang to express her emotions.

"Don't let them in, don't let them see

Be the good girl you always have to be

Conceal, don't feel, put on a show

Make one wrong move and everyone will know"

Without realizing it both Anna and Elsa were singing. Elsa's song was sadder and depressing and Anna's was full of hopes and dreams. Elsa had decided to conceal her powers which would be considered scary and dangerous.

Anna had gone outside the gates to see the town. She was singing happily and walking along the docks, singing from her heart's content.

"I know it all ends tomorrow,

So it has to be today

'Cuz for the first time in forever

For the first time in forever

Nothing's in my way!"

Anna sang but then something indeed came into her way. She bumped into a horse with black and white mane. Anna ended up falling backwards into a boat. She was seated in the far end of the boat while the boat barely hung over the water. It was all wobbly and soon she knew why, a horse and a man were holding on the boat.

"Oh sorry, we didn't quite see you. Are you hurt?" A handsome looking man said. He was wearing a white jacket and jeans. His hand reached out to Anna who was trying to control her blushing.

"Thank you, no I am alright," Anna chuckled and took his hand but at the same time the mans horse let go and even his master flew forward into the boat.

Horse noticed its mistake and quickly slammed both of its hooves back into the boat making it bounce back up. His master was now over the young girl and they both were acting up awkwardly, apologizing to each other a lot.

Finally they got over their confusion and both just laughed.

"Name is Hans Westergaard. What's your name?" Hans asked, his auburn red hair was sparkling in the sun and his eyes were as beautiful as his smile while Anna looked at him.

"Anna Adelle," Anna replied and blinked her eyes a few times.

"Adelle? You are related to Elsa Arendelle?" Hans hummed and raised his eyebrow.

"Yes, she is my sister and --- oh no! The party!" Anna exhaled and rushed out from the boat.

"Wait! Will I see you?" Hans called out for Anna who was already rushing back to the mansion.

"Yes! Meet me at the party!" Anna cheered and ran off.

Hans smiled slyly and leaned back in the boat. His horse glanced at his master and then the girl, feeling confused as it rose its hooves from the boat. That made his master fall down in the water with the boat.

The night was slowly arriving, the people from nearby bases had arrived and settled in taverns in Arendelle and now it was time for Elsa to take her responsibility as the keeper of Arendelle. The party would soon begin by Elsa accepting her parents notebooks about the virus research which she should continue.

The amount of people in Arendelle had increased so it lured in more of the undead. They were walking around the walls that were built to keep them out from Arendelle. They just walked and tried to find a way in, the guards kept getting rid of those who came too close.

"Hey we got a wanderer!" One of the guards whistled at the other one.

"Damn that's an ugly looking fucker. Frost keeps piling up today," the other guard replied to his friend.

The way the undead moved was slow, like they were frozen, their bodies were cold without any warmth left and how they kept piling up especially to windows... that's how the dead got their nickname 'frost'.

"Yeah, it seems like something draws them here today," the first guard raises his rifle and aims. Then he shoots the slowly moving frost.

The gunshot was heard in the ceremony and it made Elsa feel anxious. She could feel the undead close. Many of the audience got startled as well but Kai managed to calm them down by asking them to go to the party hall where there would be some snacks and beverages. Yes, food was really crucial for surviving so everyone hurried there to eat some free food.

Anna had been looking out for her big sister in hopes to talk with her now that the ceremonial part was over and done with. She circled around the room where people were partying. Music was playing loudly which was rare due to the fact that it was like an invitation to the undead. Still people felt safe inside the walls of Arendelle that was known for being well built and safe from the attacks for 22 years now.

Finally Anna saw her sister standing far across the room, on platform and just looking at the people dancing. Quickly she made her way over to her, it had been years since they last talked or even saw each other.

Elsa noticed how her sister slowly sneaked closer. It amused her a bit how sneakily Anna made her way, like a cat. She had managed to relax down a bit since nothing bad seemed to happen. Finally the strawberry blonde girl was standing next to her, her blue eyes sparkling anxiously.

Elsa kept smiling and then said lovingly, "Hi."

"Umm...hi," Anna whispered.

"You look beautiful," Elsa complimented her.

"Oh, you look beautifuller, I mean fuller...uh..ah... You don't look fuller but more beautiful!" Anna messed up with her words, it had been years that she just planned what she would speak about with her sister but now she was just messing things up.

Elsa chuckled a bit before saying, "So this is what a party looks like." She looked around the room, seeing people dancing and chatting.

"It's warmer than I thought," Anna hummed.

"What's that amazing smell?" Elsa wondered all of a sudden and both sisters sniffed the air.

"Chocolates!" They said together and laughed.

"My lady Elsa. The Leader of Weaseltown," Kai said and introduced a short man with mustaches. He really looked like a rodent.

"Weseltown!" Mr. Weaseltown corrected Kai by hissing from between his teeth.

"Mr Weseltown at your service madam Elsa. As the closest trading partner with Arendelle I see it fitting that I dance with you the first time," Weseltown offered and bowed down, offering his hand.

"Oh, I don't dance but my sister does," Elsa replied and literally pushed Anna to the wolves.

Anna was forced to dance with Mr Weseltown who started to remind Anna more of a chicken than a rodent with his dance moves. He danced around her moving like a chicken, hopping and moving his head and flapping his arms. It made his tupe to bounce up and down.

Elsa found the scene hilarious and Anna just tried to find her way out. Then she was saved by her angel in white armor.

"Excuse me but may I continue?" Hans asked and stole her from Mr Weseltown. They danced around the room until they disappeared somewhere.

Elsa denied many of those who came to ask her for dance. She fiddled her hands, covered by a pair of white gloves. She was dressed in a dark green dress with some black, purple and golden details. Arendelle's insignia was sown in the dress to show where she was from.

The party continued and no one seemed to notice how someone had been moving outside and gone to the tiny gates in the wall that lead outside. They had secretly opened them and then left back to the party area.

One by one the undead walked inside in the secret of the night. Drawn towards the music and those who were still alive, they kept heading to where the people of Arendelle and other outposts had gathered in.

Elsa was feeling like something was off and she wanted to find her sister. Just when she had looked around for a while Anna appeared in front of her with a man.

"Elsa, we ask your blessing for our marriage!" Anna cheered happily.

"Marriage? Wait...what? Where would you live?" Elsa exhaled and looked at Anna and the tall auburn haired man.

"Here! Don't worry it won't be too big of a wedding...just his whole family and 12 brothers plus few other people," Anna sighed and held his hand.

"No, absolutely not!" Elsa said.

"What do you mean no?" Anna huffed.

"I won't allow this. You can't marry a man that you just met," Elsa exhaled.

"You can if it's true love!" Anna replied hastily.

"Anna, what do you know about true love?" Elsa sighed and turned around.

"More than you, that's for sure," Anna huffed.

"We can talk about this later," Hans tried to stop Anna who then just approached her sister and crapped her hand.

"Elsa! Don't turn away again," Anna asked and Elsa pulled her hand away. Her glove slipped off.

Mr Weseltown had a good sight and he noticed something quickly.

"A bite! She has been bitten!" Mr Weseltown yelled and Elsa turned away from them quickly.

"Stay back!" Elsa shouted and the music stopped.

Music was covered by people screaming and them running away in panic as the windows shattered.

"Frost! They are here!" A guard yelled and rushed to the window, pushing back the first of the undead who came in.

" Elsa, wait!" Anna yelled but was pulled back by Hans who pulled out his knife, slamming one of the undead on head to destroy its brains as it tried to get Anna.

The undead gathered in front of Elsa, making a barrier as she ran out from the door. She dodged a guard who was fighting with one of the undead that then knocked him down and bit its teeth down on his neck, pulling away his flesh and the blood gushed out. The cool ground steamed when hot blood poured on the surface.

Elsa ran out from Arendelle, straight through the open door as the people in the party were panicking and dealing with the situation. Suddenly it all stopped as soon as it started.

The undead wandered away from the broken windows, their limbs moving slowly. Few of those who had been close to windows as the Frost came in, were now laying on the ground, shaking as their bodies were being taken over by the poison that would make them one of the undead. Their loved ones were sharing their last words with them before giving them rest by stabbing them on heads which would end their endless suffering.

Anna had rushed after her sister, only to see her running off to the woods and towards the higher grounds, outside the safety of the walls which made her anxious. She wanted to go after her but first she had to help out the people in Arendelle

People gathered outside in the courtyard and the piles of the undead and corpses were rising. Anna dragged one woman from the village on top of the pile of those who didn't make it through the sudden attack. She was helped by Hans.

She wiped her bloody hands on her dress and felt miserable.

"Wait a second my love, I will come to aid you in a bit," Hans said as he noticed one guard acting suspiciously.

Anna watched how Hans went to that guard who then tried to attack him. The guard jumped on Hans, his eyes were icy blue and his skin had turned pale, the hair of his was white as snow. Anna covered her mouth in shock and then felt relieved as Hans managed to pierce the undead's head with his knife.

Hans then pushed the corpse off from himself and dragged the guard on the pile with those who had turned.

"This should be all!" One other guard announced and lit a torch.

Once the piles were drenched with gasoline the guard lit both of the piles. They burned away the corpses. Anna watched the flames, still in shock over what had happened. This was the first time Frost had managed to come inside Arendelle since she was born.

"We need to hunt down Elsa! She is one of the Frost! Did any of you see the undead attacking her? NO! And she has been bitten! We need to search her and study her corpse to see what is wrong with her! She is a monster!" Mr Weseltown was roaring in the middle of the crowd.

Mr Weseltown definitely drew in Anna's attention. She stormed towards that small man and grabbed a hold of his jacket.

"My sister is not a monster! I will prove it to you and find her to come home!" Anna said and pushed him away.

Hans jogged to her and placed his hand on Anna's shoulder reassuringly. "I will come with you and help you."

Anna shook her head, "No. I will do this on my own and I see that you can handle things here. Everyone! You should listen to Hans Westergaard while I am gone!"

"But the undead are active outside the walls, miss Anna," Kai spoke from the crowd and caused some murmuring between people.

"I know but I will take the secret passageway straight to the woods. I will be fine!" Anna cheered.

"Then take my horse with you, he is used to the undead and won't be afraid," Hans insisted and asked someone to get his horse from the guest stables.

Anna smiled gratefully. Hans was definitely her dream coming true.

POV Sniper

It's been a while since I got lost from the rest after running off with the crowd following me. But for some reason the crowd stopped following me today - though I won't complain. Sitting down for once is actually kind of nice.

"Ahh, my feet are killing me," A groan escaped from my mouth as I crouched down in front of a tree and leaned my back against it.

I go through my stock of supplies and find an opened bag of beef jerky which I got from that crazy Aussie.

"Six more bullets, great... better make it count," I sigh after checking out my ammo for the rifle. "And full case on my pistol..."

I take off my staff and then the sharpening rock. I start to sharpen the sickle that's G-shaped, this has saved me so many times when I've used up all of my ammo.

"Hmm....now where can I get a spare battery or find a charger around here," I wonder as I look around. This is just a dark forest which makes things a bit harder.

I pull out one string of beef jerky and begin to munch on it as I raise my night time binoculars on my eyes. Slowly I look around and then I notice something like a town further down on the mountain.

"Awesome!" I cheer and force myself up and toss my bag over my shoulder and gather up my gear.

Step by step I began going down the mountain, binoculars hanging on my chest. Then I heard something ahead. I crouch back down and frown, raising my binoculars back to see in the dark.

"Well, that's something you don't see everyday," I wonder and see how a girl is running away from the town. She is being followed by a group of undead.

I decided to skip my plan to go to that town for now. Instead I decided to run after her and see what I can do to help. She was far ahead so I really had to run and it wasn't easy to run up a slope.

"Where did she go," I groan as I lost her for a moment and then I ended on an old road. I took a moment to look around with my binoculars and then a dead man came out from the bushes by the road.

I hopped back and pulled my staff from my back and swung it at it, cutting its head off with the blade. The head rolled on the road and I put my staff back on my back and looked around but there wasn't more of them coming.

"If I was a girl in the woods, alone at night...with the dead following me...where would I -," I mumble and then I see the sign.

"Eh, of course... Mountain Mall, haha! That's where she is!" I chuckle when I see a sign that says to turn right and drive for a half a mile.

Then I took the turn and rushed towards that mall.
