Secrets Unfold

"W-What?"

Jay looked at his wife confused, what does she mean that he was wrong about a heir. He was with her all day, everyday until her death on the Dark Island. What does she mean that he's wrong!?!

Her ocean eyes tells you so many different stories, but Jay knew that only one of them were the real thing. The King of Zelda never liked it when he saw someone he loves cry, it makes him feel like he should've done something to prevent it. This was his wife though, the love of his life, his best friend. What happened?

"Nya what do you mean?" Jay questioned her, holding onto the bars tightly in his grip.

"Remember back at the monastery, when I got the little stomach bug for about a week?" She asked him taking in a shaky breath.

Jay swallowed the lump in his throat as he nodded. Nya looked down at her feet before saying, "Turned out that it just wasn't a stomach bug."

The blue knight's eye widened at the information. N-Not a stomach bug, then that means, "Y-You were p-pregnant?!?"

At this point Nya couldn't even bare to watch the disappointment on her husband's face, so she just turned her back to the bars and slide to the floor, cradling her knees to her chest. Her cheeks were now stained with hot tears and they were still coming down. "It died after two weeks I found out about it, it was only about nine or ten weeks. That was really the main reason I didn't want to tell you cause I didn't want to get our hopes up on something like that. I was going to tell you on week 12, but time had other plans." She admitted.

A tear went down his face, "Do you know how it miscarried?"

Nya buried her head between her knees, "The doctor said it was probably our signature fight to the death kick from Lloyd that did the trick. Of course I can't blame him, I made him pretty mad that day, I was just begging for loss I guess."

"Did anyone know about it?"

She sighed, "Cole found out from the pregnancy test left in the trashcan. He's a trash digger apparently."

Jay took in a breath and glanced over at the elders in the other cells and asks, "Would it even be possible to bring an unborn child back to life?"

The white bearded man stroke his beard, "I've never heard of it before. I have seen many spells before but never one that never saw the light of day."

The former samurai looked over at the guards over near the cave which was still recovering from all the smoke from earlier. Her gaze hit the one with fur coming from her helmet, she smirked. Nya stood up from her spot and whistled to get the samurai's attention.

The one in all red brought their eyes upon her and quietly walked over to the women so no one would notice it. they were face to face with each other and Jay was the first to notice what was going on.

"You know I'm not suppose to talk to you, right?" The mysterious samurai said to Nya.

"Well you weren't suppose to talk to me when I first joined either, but you were sent with me to capture the Garmadon family and guess how that went. You should be thanking me for saving your life from being beheaded by one of their generals."

"Echo had sent me with you to guard you to make sure you weren't doing something stupid."

"You say that and yet you were the one that did something stupid."

If the soldier's helmet was not on their head you could just bet that they were rolling their eyes all the way to the back of their head. "What do you want, Dil- I mean Nya?"

"Akita, you had told me that if I needed anything you would help me after I saved you from losing your head. I'm gonna need the favor."

Jay overheard that and his eyes widen. He stepped closer the his bars to hear more of the conversation, it could be considered eavesdropping, but in his mind there is no such thing as quiet talk in such closed places.

"You know what the repercussions are? The odds are not in our favor if I do that."  The hidden figure stated.

Nya nodded, "I know the risk. But you know as well as I that this is something we need to do. Ninjago is in danger. I know this isn't your homeland, but this place is going to be the only things that will be able to get you back home."

"Will I be able to bite him in the -"

"Yes. Yes you will. But I need you to unlock our cages, get River, and you'll give a ride to the elders before you can bite anyone." Nya chuckled.

"What about the blue one?" Akita asked.

"That one's mine." Nya said glancing over at her husband with a little smirk on her face, "Love, I would like you to meet one of my personal samurai's, Akita, she will be escorting all of us straight to Echo's rotten little hands."

Jay looked at both of them with curiosity, "What do you have planned up your sleeve?"

"Something that could end the reign of Echo and his bloody samurai's for good."
