Tom's Pov

Today's the day I've dreaded since we adopted Chrissy.

Her choosing ceremony. I'm terrified she won't choose Dianite but I'm more scared she'll choose Ianite.

Jordan looks about as nervous as I do. I know its not for the same reason.

Ianite had to leave with Dec. The gods always attend. All three.

I saw how he watched her leave and smiled when she looked back at him.

"You guys aren't gonna hate me over my decision are you?" Chrissy asks nervously.

"Of course not Chrissy. We love you for you. Its okay if you don't believe the same as us." Jordan answers.

"Its time to get ready." I say trying not to sound too shaky.

Time Skip

Chrissy looks stunning. Her dress is white and semi-short. It fits Chrissy's curves perfectly.

Daniel is in a traditional suit. I feel my eyes start to water as Jordan takes pictures.

He's fully decked out in Ianite armor. Me, Dianite's.

Its tradition the God/goddess's most loyal follower stand beside their said god/goddess during the ceremony.

Of course Jordan and I got picked. Tucker was Mianite's choice.

"Tom! Don't cry!" Chrissy playfully yells. I laugh and wipe my tears.

"I'm sorry! You've grown up so much!" Daniel and Chrissy laugh at my comment.

"Chrissy why don't you sit on Fire for a picture." Jordan says.

The obedient horse trots up to Chrissy. She jumps on his back and smiles.

"Jordan what about the well over by Martha's." I add.

We travel to Steve and Martha's via my car.

Chrissy sits and faces away from the camera.

She smiles slightly as Steve says something I couldn't understand.

"Jordan! I wasn't ready!" Chrissy complains.

I see Jordan start smiling. "Tom come here."

Jordan leans close to me and shows me the picture.

Chrissy is deffinatly Ianite's daughter. They look just alike as far as body shape goes.

Chrissy's features are shaper than Ianite's. Must be the Dianite in her.

"Lets get over to the hall." Martha says. Steve's jaw drops and everyone laughs.

Martha looks good! She's in a tight fitted, red, lacy dress.

"Syndy you look like you could kill anything in your way." Steve says and places his hand on my shoulder.

"Is that a good thing?"

Travel Time Skip

Jordan's Pov

Chrissy and Daniel sit next to Maddi and Kurt.

Maddi is in a ivory, cocktail length, dress with gold detailing.

Tom gives my hand a squeeze as the place starts to fill up.

"Where are they?" Tucker sounds impatient as we wait for the gods to walk out.

I see a door open and in walks Ianite. The room goes silent as she walks in.

She's in a white dress that fades into a peacock design.

My eyes widen as she walks gracefully to her place.

I release Tom's hand and walk over to my spot beside Ianite.

"You look nice." She whispers to me, but doesn't look at me.

She has heels on. Ianite doesn't look near as short as she usually does next to me with them.

"You look amazing." I whisper back. Dianite walks in and shoots me a uninviting look.

Tom half smiles at me as he settles in next to Dianite.

Mianite and Tucker take their places, allowing Dec to begin talking.

"It is now, children of Ruxomar, you will choose whether you are, A rule follower, A revenge seeker, a peacekeeper, or...." Dec pauses,

Nade appears beside Ianite and begins talking. "Or a rebel." He says powerfully.

"Abigail Adams" Ianite takes a deep breath as names begin to be called.

I look over at Tom who is staring back at me.

"Its not him. Its all in the eyes" Ianite whispers. Tom's eyes are the same red they were the night he nearly killed me and Andor.

"Daniel Gow." Daniel starts walking towards Nade but stops.

He looks at Mianite then to Ianite. His parents follow Mianite.

Daniel smiles and bows before Ianite. "M' Lady." He says loud enough for everyone to hear.

I don't think I've ever seen Ianite smile so brightly. He's our first today.

A woman from the back lets out a sob as Daniel takes his seat next to Chrissy.

"Will Ferri."

Will bows in front of Dianite then goes back to his seat.

One by one kids come and choose their god. Ianite still only has 1.

"Maddi Jane." My stomach knots. Maddi gives Ianite a glare but walks over to Mianite.

"My daughter." Mianite mumbles and I look over at Ianite. She nods at me but fixes her gaze back on someone in the back.

"Chrissy Cassell." Dianite stands taller so does Ianite.

Chrissy's Pov

Panic fills me entirely. I don't know! I thought I knew, but I don't!

I stop in front of Dianite but look over at Jordan and Ianite.

Then to Nade. I turn away and walk over to Nade.

He smiles as I go to bow he stops me. "No need." He says and kisses my head.

I take my seat back next to Daniel who grabs my hand.

Jordan's Pov

The figure Ianite is staring at is in all black. His robe thing has blue trim.

"Wizard." Ianite mumbles under her breath. Is that Wag?! No way! He looks epic!

Time Skip (to after the ceremony)

Ianite, Dianite, Mianite, Tom, Chrissy, Daniel, Will, Andor, Blaze, Nade, and I sit at a large table.

Ianite is sat between Dianite and me. "Only one sister. What do you think is going on?" Mianite asks and Ianite smiles at Daniel.

"One was all I needed Brother."

"You've said that before." Dianite murmurs. Tom takes a hold of my hand, under the table.

"Mr. Sparklez you aren't eating much everything ok?" Dianite snaps. I haven't touched my food. I'm scared if I eat it, its gonna come up.

"I-Just not hungry that's all." I do sip my wine. Its very good, to be honest.

"Its been a while since we've talked Jordan. How have you been?" Mianite asks. He sounds interested so I answer.

"I've been good. Ianite has been lovely company."

"Three months." Dianite says and Ianite slams her empty wine glass down.

"Leave him alone!"

"Aww look who's being all protective! How sweet. I'm sure your mortal wouldn't wouldn't approve." Dianite hisses.

"Dad stop." Blaze says harshly. A TV broadcast cuts us off.

"A baby was found dumped outside of St. James children's hospital. The mother left a note saying she couldn't take care of her. Anyone with information call......"

"What a mother to dump her baby off like that. Its......" Ianite goes pale and pushes her plate away from her.

She quickly gets up and exits. I follow behind her.

Ianite's Pov

"How could a mother just dump her kid off like that" Chrissy's voice echoes through my head.

"Ianite you ok?" Jordan asks but I shake my head. I feel like I'm gonna pass out.

Chrissy's Pov

"I shouldn't have said that." I let my head hang low.

"Its okay you didn't know." Dianite says softly.

"She didn't dump me off! It isn't her fault i turned out this way." Blaze sounds like he could cry.

"Is she gonna be ok?" Daniel asks Mianite but he doesn't get an answer.

"Chrissy's your dna was more of Mom's. I was the mixture between the two. She sees me as a monster. But its not her fault she sees that way......"

"Tom." Jordan calls in cutting Blaze off. Tom excuses himself and joins Jordan outside.

A few minutes later Tom walks back in. "Blaze umm...."

Blaze leaves to go talk to Ianite. Nade grabs my hand and drags me out.

"Time to go." He snaps harshly. "Nade wait!" I'm teleported to a place I've never been before.
