Wolf was at the entrance of the building when he saw an owl came in and watched her as she was walking up to the female receptionist

''Can I help you Ms.?'' Asked the girl.

''Yes, um I have a meeting at the top floor for an interview and would like directions.'' Mara said.

''And your name?'' Asked the receptionist.

''Mara J.'' She said.

The receptionist named Kia typed up the name and searched. ''Sorry, nobody by that name. Who are you here to see?''

''Um I think her name is Tarantula.'' Mara said.

Wolf raised an eyebrow at this and used his ear piece to talk to Web's.

''Say Web's you hear me?'' Asked Wolf quietly.

''Yep, I hear ya Wolf what's up?'' The tarantula asked, she was working on the schedules for Diane.

''Do you have an interview for a Mara J?'' He asked.

''Hmm give me a sec.'' She said as she looked.

''No, I've never heard of one and she not on the list or anything. What's she interviewing for?'' Asked Webs. ''Oh I got a call.''

Wolf let her go and went over not too close as Kia who looked at the owl. ''Sorry but Ms. Tarantula doesn't have an appointment lined up or anything so I'm afraid you'll have to leave.'' Kia said.

''There must be a mistake, if I could just speak to her, she'll remember me.'' The owl said.

''Sorry, but appointment only, do I have to call security?'' Asked Kia.

''No, fine I'll go.'' She said as she left.

Wolf wasn't so sure and used the coms to talk. ''Web's heads up she might try to sneak in, I have a feeling she's after Diane.'' Wolf said into the earpiece.

''Nobody gets past me. Oh she got an appointment meeting in an hour you better get ready.'' She said.

''But I have to stay down here.'' Wolf sighed.

''Nope, your needed up here right now. Diane herself is asking for you.'' Web's said.

Wolf went up to the top floor and saw Web's who smiled at him. ''We get to work together.'' She giggled.

Wolf nodded and knocked on the door.

''Enter!'' Called Diane.

Wolf went in and saw his boss Tug who turned and frowned at Wolf as he left. Wolf watched him leave and turned to see Diane messing with some papers.

''What was that about?'' He asked.

She gave him a really look. ''Well, you are now my personal bodyguard, and he wasn't too happy about it but too bad.'' Diane smirked at her lover.

''I thank you Madam Governor.'' He bowed and smirked at her.

She giggles and then looked out the window.

''Is everything ok Diane?'' Asked Wolf.

She turned and smiled nodding. Yeah, I just thought someone was watching me but its my mind playing tricks on me. I got a meeting here shortly can you go get some files from Tarantula.'' She asked.

''Sure, but do you need me to check it out?'' He asked a but worried.

''No, it's nothing, just me being paranoid.'' She shrugged.

Wolf left to get the papers and Diane looked out her window and looked around, she had a feeling she was being watched but she heard Wolf come in.

''Alright, let's go.'' She said.

Wolf let her out and looked around before following Diane.

Later after the meeting it was around lunchtime. ''Say Wolf want to get something to eat?'' Asked Diane.

''Sure.'' He smiled as he sat next to her.

They were being followed as they stopped at one of her and Wolf's favorite resturant and went in to order. Wolf was looking around keeping an eye out for anyone who might come up to the Governor.

Diane looked around while the food was getting ready she got that feeling again that she was being watched and looked to see if she could see anybody. She saw a few humans eating and she noticed a male ape eating lunch and saw a tiger walk in and go over to the ape.

''Everything ok Diane?'' Asked Wolf.

''Yeah, huh nice to see other animals here then us.'' She nodded to the other two.

Wolf saw them and nodded. ''Yeah, odd couple.''

Diane giggled. ''No more odd then us.''

Wolf chuckled at that. ''True.''

Their food was ready and they left. The tiger and ape watched them leave.

''So that's her bodyguard?'' Zang asked surprised.

''I guess so, I mean Mr. Wolf was a bad guy so who else then him to watch over her. But there is more to them, I got a feeling they are more then friends.'' Nolan said his tail twitching.

''Wait you mean they are together, together?'' Zang was surprised.

''Yep, but I need more proof.'' Nolan said.

''I hope Mara had better luck at scoping the place out.'' Zang said.

The two got up and watched as the car took off. ''I bet she did.'' Nolan smirked.

''And did you place the device?'' Zang asked as they got in the car.

''Yep, how we just follow it.'' Nolan said.

Diane was still working and she lost track of time as a knock was on her door and in came Wolf.

''Hey, it's already 8 time to wrap it up.'' He said worried that she might be over doing herself.

''Oh, alright.'' She had finished all her paperwork for the day and stood up.

''So, I'm going to hangout with the crew, want to join me?'' Asked Wolf.

Diane nodded. ''Sounds like fun.''

Wolf goes over and kisses her, she kisses back her hands on the back of his neck. They weren't aware someone was taking pictures of them and they left.

''I'll drive this time.'' Diane said.

''No, no I'll drive.'' Wolf said lifting Diane on his back as he took off.

As they got in the car Diane looked around and saw it was a busy night people everywhere as they went to the crew's lair.
