The next morning Snake was making breakfast when he heard Wolf's voice.

''Morning Snake.'' Wolf said.

''Morning Wolf, wait shouldn't you be at work?'' He asked looking at the Wolf.

''No, it's only half a day.'' He shrugged.

''Half day? I thought you were full-time?'' Asked Snake.

''Yeah, I am but Diane wants me to have some free time so here I am.'' Wolf said sitting down.

''Nice buddy.'' Snake grinned.

''So, what are you up to? A bit early for you to be up.'' Wolf pointed out knowing Snake like to sleep.

''Oh, well I was going to go talk to the witness who saw the robber and see if I can't get any more out of them, I know Diane has a lot on her plate and I was hoping to help her out and figure out who it is.'' He said.

''Oh, well I'll come with you.'' Wolf said smiling.

Snake wasn't sure of his buddy tagging along but agreed to it as they took off in the car.

''So, where does this person live?'' Asked Wolf.

''Kensington street.'' Snake said.

Wolf took off to there.

Diane was in her office on a face call with some of the mayors as they were going over reports of their cities.

''Alright, well sounds like your all making progress.'' Diane said.

''Yeah, so what's this about a robbery I heard about?'' Asked one.

''Well, turns out there was a robbery, but we are taking care of it and so far, nothing else has happened.'' She said leaning back adjusting her glasses.

''Well alright well this meeting is over, have a great day everyone.'' One mayor said.

They all left, and Diane took off her glasses and threw her head back, feeling guilty and horrible. She couldn't wait to see Wolf when he showed up.

Meanwhile Wolf and Snake made it to the address and got out and went up to the door.

''Fancy area.'' Snake said looking around.

''Yeah.'' Wolf said as he knocked on the door.

An older lady answered the door. ''Ahh hello can I help you?''

''Yes, we have a couple questions about the masked figure you saw the night of the robbery.'' Wolf said.

''Ahh come in.'' The lady let them in as they sat down.

''Tea or anything to drink?'' She asked.

''No, we aren't going to be here that long.'' Wolf said.

''Ok, so what would you like to know?'' She asked.

''How well did you see this figure?'' Asked Snake.

''I was taking out the trash at my job when I saw a figure at the wall and had a bag and I moved back when the thing was looking around and then the next thing, I saw was a car taking off and that was it.'' She said looking at them.

''Are you reporters or something?'' She asked.

''No, we are just trying to help the governor with this robbery is all.'' Snake said.

''Very admirable of you guys, but that is all.'' She said shrugging.

''Thank you for your help.'' Wolf said as he walks out.

Snake watched him and stopped. ''Say did you see if the figure was a male or female?'' Snake asked.

''Hm come to think of it I think it was a male but I'm not sure.'' She said.

''Alright thanks.'' Snake said leaving and got in the car.

''So, anywhere else you need to go?'' Asked Wolf.

''No, just back home.'' Snake said.

''Ok, I'll drop you off and then I have to go.'' He said as they took off.

Back at the office, Diane was filling out paperwork and there was a knock on the door and in came Webs with a thing of wild tiger lilies.

''Got a special delivery for you.'' Webs said.

''Oh, from who?'' Asked Diane going over and taking the thing of tiger lilies.

''I don't know the delivery boy brought them up.'' Webs said leaving.

Diane took them and placed them on her desk and looked at them. They were one of her favorite flowers and she grins thinking Wolf brought them and she saw a white small card in the plastic, and she opened it and her eyes widened and frowned.

'You are amazing, and I can't wait to see you again, see you next week.'

Diane growls and threw the note away and looked at the tiger lilies. She wanted to keep them but didn't want them around, and she got an idea.

''Hey Webs.'' She said going out of her office and to her secretary desk.

''Yes?'' Webs looked up and smiled.

''Here, why don't we put these out here.'' Diane said.

''Sure, wait why?'' Asked the tarantula.

''Oh, my office is nice enough as it is and besides this needs some colors out here.'' She said smiling.

''Figure out who they were from?'' Asked Webs.

''No, but I like them out here.'' She said.

She went back in and saw she had left one tiger lily on her desk, and she placed it inside one of her draws.

She heard a knock and saw the door open as Wolf came in.

''Hey beautiful.'' Wolf said.

''Hey handsome.'' She stood up and went over hugging him.

He kisses her and she kissed back but pulled away. ''Keep it professional.''

He raised an eyebrow and presses her to the desk. ''Professional? Its my job to watch you.'' He growls.

She giggles and kisses him passionately for a couple of minutes.

''Alright, I have to get back to work.'' She said.

''Oh, me and Snake went to the witness's place to see if we could get any info on the figure they saw.'' He said.

Diane looked at him. ''And find anything?''

''No, just that it was dark and could be anybody.'' Wolf said shrugging.

Diane nodded. ''Nothing else has been robbed. I'm hoping it was a one-time thing.''

''Same here hon.'' Wolf said kissing her cheek and went out to keep watch.

Diane lays her head on the desk. ''Crap!'' She didn't like the idea, but she had to talk to Nolan.

Snake was back at the lair and called to one of his old buddies for a favor.
