|3 weeks later|

I have mostly recovered my strength and am able to walk on my own. Shockwave has been arranging everything for my coronation along with the help of Soundwave and part of my crew. I can't actually BELIEVE I agreed to this. The crew and family were a little shocked that I had accepted to take Megatrons place, Nightmare too. I want to wipe the Decepticons slate clean, give them a second chance. Just like I did with every crew member... but right now I am at the town hall to see how everything is being put together.

"Shockwave, how is everything going so far?" I ask him.

"Everything is almost complete. Starscream is rather upset that you are becoming leader instead of him, but that is to be expected." He said as he glanced at me.

"So the entire town is coming?" Shockwave nodded.

"An announcement has been made about your coronation, that is how Starscream became aware." Shockwave continued and walked off.

I chuckled to myself when I felt a clawed hand grab my arm, I turned my head to see Starscream there with an infuriated expression. I give him an irritated glare in return and pull my arm from his grip.

"How DARE you take MY rightful place as leader of the Decepticons!! I am second in command, I am entitled to that position!!!" Starscream shouted.

"I'm sorry, but are you BY BLOOD related to Megatron? And you will not talk to your superior this way, Starscream. Today is the day I am crowned, not you." I say firmly.

"Is there a PROBLEM here?" NightShade came up beside me.

Starscream backed off when he saw the wolf next to me. Turns out NightShade is a wolf, not a fox. They look similar.

"Mhm, I didn't think so. Now scurry off before I tear out your spark like I tore out Lockdown's." She threatened.

He took off running.

"Thanks NightShade. Oh hey, have you found yourself a boyfriend yet? You're seriously lonely, you need a man in your life." I say with sass.

"Oh hell no I don't, and I am NOT lonely!" She growled.

"You spend your nights alone in your house, you don't go anywhere. Come on, there's SOMEBODY out there for you." I point out.

"Commander Springlock, where should these microphones go?" I turned and saw Springtrap holding a small box of microphones.

"On the podium, since the mayor's mics died last week. These are new ones." I told him.

"Alright, oh hey NightShade! Good to see you." He nodded to her and walked off.

I smiled at NightShade as Springtrap walked off. Springtrap is the best bachelor for her, he's still single and he seems to have a liking for NightShade. She gave me a strange look.

"What...OHHHH no. You're not playing matchmaker, I'm just gonna go help out." She walked off.

Knockout came up to me, "Springlock, it's time for your buffing and polishing!"

He grabbed my arm and drug me into a room in city hall with his buffer and a bucket of wax.

|3 hours later|

I've been polished and buffed by the medic himself, and the entire town has shown up for my coronation. Oh boy I'm nervous. Springbonnie patted my back to comfort me, I did feel a bit better after it.

"Today is your day, own it." He said with a smile.

I smiled back, took a deep breath and walked through the doors onto the balcony of town hall. Shockwave stood next in front of the podium holding a beautiful tiara with red gems implanted into it. Nightmare stood on the side of the podium with his hands behind his back. I walked up next to Shockwave with a smile, he turned his attention towards the crowd below. The town citizens, my crew, and the Decepticons.

"Fellow citizens, Decepticons, and crew members. We are gathered here today in honor of Megatrons defeat, to crown a new leader of the Decepticons. The same who sacrificed herself by destroying Darkmount with her and Megatron still within, yet she somehow miraculously survived. Springlock, could you step forward?" Shockwave faced me with the tiara.

I stepped forward and faced him as he held the tiara high enough for everyone to see it. I still smiled as he looked at me with pride in his optic.

"I hereby declare you as Lord Springlock, leader of the Decepticons." He placed the tiara upon my head.

The crowd below applauded loudly and cheered out. Shockwave stepped back and left me room at the podium, I graciously stepped forward.

"Hello everyone. As the new leader of the Decepticons, I plan to lead the Decepticons down a path of honest work and kind acts. To start anew and give a second chance to all. I propose an act of peace between both races to share and live among each other with no complications. I know it sounds rather strange, but we can all do this together." I spoke into the microphone.

"Lord Springlock, new leader of the Decepticons everyone!" Shockwave announced.

The crowd cheered very very loudly, applauding like I've never heard. Nightmare came up next to me, I looked at him and I noticed he was holding something behind his back. I was slightly confused, but he faced me with a small smile. The crowd went silent in confusion.

"I truly hate to interrupt today, but I also have something to say. Springlock, you've helped me change my ways from how horrible I was back then. You helped me see life the way you do. You allowed me to love you and it has been the best thing to ever happen to me, and I don't want it to end..." He took out a small box from behind his back.

I was slightly confused, that was until he opened the box. In the box was a beautiful ring with a large gemstone in the center of it, I gasped and put a hand over my mouth. The crowd below gasped as well. I looked at the ring to Nightmare.

"Springlock, you make me the happiest bear alive. Will you be mine for the rest of our lives?" He asks.

He's PROPOSING to me. I certainly wasn't expecting this for a while, so I'm completely caught off guard. I felt the tears roll down my face, but they were tears of joy. I began to cry.

"Yes! Of course!" I hugged him.

Everyone was cheering once again, all but Shockwave. I pulled back from the hug and he took the ring out of the box. He held my right hand and slid the ring onto my finger, it was a perfect fit. I am now engaged to my nightmare teddy bear. Today is officially the best day of my life.

~NightShade~

I was headed back towards the gated community, everyone else had gone home earlier, but me? I took a walk around town on my own. I saw several animatronics and Vehicons together, like friends and such. Lots of animatronic couples too. I sighed as I walked past them in the night. Maybe Spring was right about me being lonely, but there's nobody else like me out there. So it's kinda hard for me to find friends, or a boyfriend for that matter.

"Hey NightShade!" I heard a familiar voice behind me.

I turned my head to see Springtrap trying to catch up to me. I was a bit surprised to see him running up to me, and he seemed pretty out of breath.

"Springtrap? What are you doing out this late?" I ask.

"I could ask you the same thing, Nighty." He fired back with much sass.

I smirked and rolled my optics, letting out a soft chuckle. He gave a smirk in return.

"I was just walking around town to see if anything was interesting." I say.

"Heheh, well it was definitely a challenge to help rebuild most the town. Only things left to do is finish rebuilding the schools and the main park." Springtrap said.

I nodded, "Yeah, thankfully there isn't much left to do. Now that Springlock and Nightmare are engaged, it should be getting done a lot quicker. They're a great team."

"Yeah they are..." He looked a bit saddened after that.

"Yeah...well I should be getting home. I need to sleep." I said awkwardly.

The rotten looking bunny nodded. We walked through the large gate and it closed behind us. My house was on the left while his was on the right. I began headed up the sidewalk to my house.

"Hey uh, NightShade?" Springtrap asked.

I turned his way, "Yes?"

"Would you like to...go out sometime?" He asked.

My blue and red eye widened, I smiled and nodded.

"Sure, does tomorrow afternoon work?" He nodded.

"See you then." He grinned and walked into his house.

I felt my spark flutter with joy as I unlocked the front door to my house. I walk in and head into the living room to lay on the nice comfy couch. I passed out immediately. Everything was black, and a soft voice called out.

"I know where you are, NightShade....you can't outrun me for forever. I will find you..." HER voice echoed throughout my head.

I whipped around to see if she was there. And sure enough, SHE was. Her eyes stared at me with much admiration and curiosity. I growled and went to attack, but my hind paws were stuck in place. She slowly approached me for I couldn't run or attack, I kept swiping my claws at her. She grabbed both of my wrists.

"Fiesty aren't you? But if you don't have what I desire in the next 2 months, I will come for you." She threatened.

"I will NEVER tell you anything!" I roared.

She then laughed, "Then hunting you down will be so much more interesting...see you soon, NightShade." She let go and backed away into the darkness.

My eyes snapped open and I sat up in a state of panic. It can't be her...she can't still be alive, my father ended her! Or, so we thought....

Her return is upon us.
