~Jack~

"Should we kill them?" Chara asked, advancing towards Mark and the others. I quickly help up my arm to stop her. Everyone looked at me, shocked.

"There's no point." I said quickly. "It's not like they can do anything."

Chara glanced at me, then turned and flew over to the ranks of monsters. Mark looked at me, his face filled with surprise.

"J..Jack?" he asked quietly. I avoided his gaze and followed Chara. I was mentally scolding myself.

Why did you stop her? Anti asked, a bit annoyed.

I don't know! I snapped back. I ran my fingers through my hair and exhaled.

Well, get a grip on yourself- Anti started to say, but then stopped, outraged. Don't tell me you're regretting this choice.

I groaned.

Maybe I am, maybe I'm not. Now shut the fuck up Anti.

I glanced back at Jack. He seemed to be having a conversation with Anti, and he was stressed. Jack ran his fingers through his hair and sighed. I turned back and rolled my eyes.

He really has to get a grip on himself. I thought.

I hovered ten feet in the air, and addressed our army. I pointed at the city.

"Destroy it. Now." I snapped. They obeyed, and started to march towards the city.

Have you even looked for them yet? A voice in my head snapped impatiently.

I haven't had the chance, Frisk. I retorted.

Is Jack okay? Frisk asked.

I don't fucking know! And sense when have you cared about Jack?

Sense you started caring. She countered.

Shut up...

Holy fucking shit. Every monster in the entire fucking underground was a brainwashed army, and the only thing I cared about was the fact that Jack stopped Chara from killing us. I face palmed.
Get a fucking grip, Mark! I stood up, leaning on the wall in case I fell. I seemed steady, so I let go of the wall. Slowly, everyone else got up as well.

"That was....interesting." Wade commented.

We all laughed at the understatement. I got up and exited the underground. I almost fell down again. Jack and Chara's "army" was marching towards the city.

"Oh fuck..." I groaned, face palming again.

"You know, Jack was right. We can't really do anything about it..." Dlive pointed out.

"Maybe we can stop it at it's source." Minx suggested.

I frowned at her. She pointed at Jack and Chara, flying in the air over the army.

"They have magic." Ohm pointed out. "We have..."

I kicked a stick at my feet.

"Sticks?" I suggested. Everyone laughed again.

"We're soooo gonna die." I muttered.

Wade hooked his arm into mine.

"Come on Mr. Negative! Lets go whoop some monster ass." he shouted.

"Wade, I-" I started to say, but he yanked me down the hill. I tripped and fell, and smashed into Minx, knocking her over as well. She hit someone else, and pretty soon we were all at the bottom of the hill, out of breath, covered in dirt, and laughing out heads off.
