*Abby's POV*

I continued walking through the forest after my run in with Hybrid. I soon came to a small lake.
There was a girl with purple hair, a dark purple shirt, black pants and combat boots sitting by the water.
"Um excuse me?" I said.
The girl jumped and turned around to face me.
"Oh hi," she replied.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to startle you. I'm Abby."
"Serene. Nice to meet you Abby," she smiled and held out her hand.
I took her hand and shook it firmly.
I noticed that there was a mark on her neck shaped like a key, glowing bright purple.
"What's up with your neck?" I asked.
She quickly covered her neck with her hair. "I-I'm the key of dimensions. Please don't tell anyone!"
"Your the key?!" I yelled.
That's when it happened. The sky turned dark and thunder crackled from above.

*Serene's POV*

The sky was pitch black as was the lakes water now. Thunder cracked as lightning shot across the sky.
I quickly looked at Abby. Her blue hair covered half her face as she looked at me with fear in her eyes.
"You need to run!" She said.
"What? Why?" I questioned.
"Just run!" she yelled.
I quickly ran off into the forest and didn't look back.
I kept running until I ran straight into someone and fell backwards on my butt.
I looked up to see a man with scales, grey wings, serpent eyes and a black staff.
He smirked down at me.
"Hello little key," he smirked.
He then picked me up by my shirt and disappeared with me.

*Abby's POV*

I was so busy hiding and worrying about Serene, I didn't hear Hybrid appear behind me.
"Hello Abby," he smirked. "Have you thought more about my offer?"
"I'm still not gonna join you!" I yelled.
He twirled the staff in his hand and looked at it.
"Oh really my dear? That's a shame now that I have the key."
Wait he had Serene?!
There really was no place for either of us to hide and not get caught by Hybrid. His plan was full proof for a villain and now both me and Serene were ensnared in his game.

Abby: I AM THE SHADOW DRAGON! HEAR ME ROAR! *roars*

Serene: O_O um ok then?
