*Serene's POV*

I struggled to get out of the chains that held me to a wall. Hybrid returned with Abby by his side and smirked at me.
"Your helping him?!" I shouted.
She looked at me sadly. "N-No! It's not like that I swear! When I found out you were the key I wanted to help you stay hidden and not let him catch you. I swear I didn't mean for this to happen!"
I turned away my face away from her and looked at the ground sadly. The mark on my neck turned blue and glowed with sadness. I didn't know what to think any more.
"Now then let's get this over with," Hybrid spoke with a smirk on his face.
He then aimed his staff directly at me.
I stared at him, my eyes filled with fear and terror. His staff turned black and shot darkness directly at me.
I screamed in pain as I felt him pull every inch of power out of me.
Hybrid smirked, while tears streamed down Abby's cheeks.
"NO!" she screamed and tried to pull the staff from Hybrid's hands.
It was no use, the chains that held me broke and I collapsed to the ground into darkness.

*Abby's POV*

I quickly ran over to Serene, kneeled beside her and cradled her in my arms. Hot tears streamed down my cheeks as I stared down at her. She lay motionless in my arms. This was my fault. I should've hid her when I had the chance.
I looked over at Hybrid, who now held the keys power in his staff. He had done this to her. An innocent girl. I clenched my fists in anger as I felt the power inside me grow. I was going to avenge the key. Starting with killing Hybrid and getting her power back.
