Ayaka Pov

This is it! Finally its time for our first Trial! After the um.... 'near kiss incident' Shu was let off the other day.

Since he was a bit weak we had to postpone our Trial for another week but now it was finally what I waited for so long!

Yay!

Me, Professor, Shu and others made our way to the first Trial site, which was a normal type trial. Seems easy. Crimson was out for a few days due to some of his 'personal work'.

Back to the story.......

As we finally reached the site it seemed normal. A boy with peachy coloured hair and a eevee on his shoulder approached us with a smile.

"So you all are taking on the trials right?" To which we all nodded excitedly. "Ok so which one of you wants to go first?" He said as Valt stepped out which a determined and serious look on his face.

"Me." He said as Ilama or whatever his name was gave a small smile and gave a shrill whistle.

After some seconds the grounds began to shake as we struggled to keep our balance.

A huge rat like pokemon came running out of the dense undergrowth as it jumped in front of Valt with its long front teeth Bared. A Raticate.

The huge Raticate gave a roar as its body got surrounded by a golden aura. Totem Boost. Oh shit.....

Valt stared at the huge Normal type with a smile and brought out his first pokemon.

It was a small bipedal human like pokemon with Black stripes around its yellow body as It pumped its arms with a cocky smirk on its face.

"Bi bibibi! " it yelled in poke language which made the raticate narrow its eyes at the small electric type before it went for a Tackle attack.

"Use Thunder wave, Elekid!" Valt said while pumping his fists forwards as the electric type released a shock wave of electricity which caused the normal type to stop in its track.

Yellow sparks started dancing around its body as It struggled to move. Starting the battle with a stats move..... a great strategy.

"We got it! Now use Thunder Shock!" The blue haired male yelled excitedly while Elekid released the electricity which it stored in its hands. The attack hit the Raticate who simply shrugged it off like anything before using Take Down on Elekid who was a bit slow and got hit head on by the powerful move.

It was set flying away as it crashed against a tree. It slowly slipped off the tree while its eyes were into spirals clearly showing that he had fainted. The Raticate twitched a bit after the recoil of the move.

"Okay! We got this Shinx!" He said as the small electric cub appeared in front of the Raticate with a determined look on its face.

"Use Charge! " he commanded as Shinx ruffled its fur increasing its Sp. Defence and Attack. During the week everyone especially Valt had trained themselves for this Trial, progressing very much.

Raticate went for another Take Down, but Shinx went for a Double Team, causing the normal type to stop as it looked around for the real one.

"Thunder Fang!" Was the next command as the small pokemon ran at it foe with his fangs covered in electricity and jumped onto the huge pokemon and bit on its back while the Raticate tried to shake Shinx but due to the paralysis effect was unable to do so.

It finally gave a huge shake making the tiny cub tumble down. As Shinx was in mid- air, raticate swung its huge tail at the poor pokemon sending it crashing on a tree causing dust to fly around.

Silence. Everyone was silent waiting for the dust to clear. As the dust cleared a bit everyone including me and Valt gasped when a bright light erupts from it. Shinx was glowing brightly as its form slowly changed.

The light dimmed and finally stopped revealing a new pokemon. It looked a bit like Shinx but a bit taller. The mane was longer and the insides of its rounded ears were yellow, as well its eyes. There were two yellow rings around each front leg and a yellow, four-point star on the tip of its tail.

I pointed my pokedex towards it and scanned it.

Luxio, the Spark Pokémon. Electric type. By touching friends with its front paws, Luxio is able to communicate through the sparks it emits.

"Whoa....." was all I could say in amazement.

Valt Pov

When the Raticate hit Shinx I thought I was gonna loose..... but then something happened to Shinx! Maybe that's what they call Evolution. Our first evolution.....

Shi- i mean Luxio gave a roar and then released the biggest bolt of electricity at the Raticate frying it.

"Thats Thunderbolt! I heard Ayaka gasp as I looked at Luxio in shock.

It the turned to me and ran towards me. I ducked thinking he was gonna attack when I felt something push me on the ground and felt something wet on face.

Turns out that Luxio was licking me actually. I laughed and made my way to Llama or whatever his name as he handed me a light brown crystal. Our first Z-Crystal!

I made my way to the Stands and gave Shu a thumbs up. His battle against a super large Gumshoos went realling fast..... maybe because he had Riolu?

Anyways the next others battles too went really fast especially Ken and Ukyo's. Finally it was Ayaka's turn but Llama again whatever his name is challenged her to a battle saying that she's too strong for the Totem's. I'm so excited to see Ayaka Battle for the first time!

Third Pov

Both Iliama and Ayaka took their stances opposite to each other in the battle field, holding a pokeball in their hands.

"Its Show Time Aurorus!" Ayaka shouted throwing the sphere in the air as it opened releasing its contents.

Out came a quadruped, dinosaurian Pokémon that resembling a sauropod. It's primarily blue skin with a lighter blue underside glowed slightly. It opened its eyes revealing bright blue eyes, stretching its long neck swinged a long, tapering tail with a teardrop-shaped tip. On its head was a V-shaped white marking with single, light blue crystal in the center. Two large, flowing sails extend from the top of its head and ran down the length of its neck. The sails pale whitish-yellow colour which faded into a pale bluish-purple hue at the edges mesmerised eveyone.
Running across the length of its body on either side was a line of small ice crystals. It stood tall on its four legs and roared loudly scaring some wild pokemon nearby while the crystals on its body shone under the bright Alolan Sun.

It was Ukyo's turn to point his pokedex. A robotic voice spoke:

Aurorus, the Tundra Pokemon. Rock/Ice type. The diamond-shaped crystals on its body expel air as cold as -240 degrees Fahrenheit, surrounding its enemies and encasing them in ice.

"Seems cool." Daigo commented while staring at the towering pokemon in the battle field. "A very beautiful yet dangerous pokemon. But that dosent mean I'm going easy on you!" Iliama said throwing his pokeball in the air.

"Bring it on!" Ayaka said as a pokemon formed on the battlefield.

It was a large bipedial pokemon with brown hide and several raised patches and a cream-colored belly. Its large, cream-colored ears were bent as it narrowed its red eyes at its oponent giving a snort with its short, rounded snout which showed two fangs in its upper jaw. There were epaulette-like growths over its shoulders and a row of spikes down its back.

Ken pointed his pokedex at it and a female robotic voice spoke.

Kagaskhan, the Parent Pokemon. Normal Type. The infant rarely ventures out of its mother's protective pouch until it is three years old. If you come across a young kangaskhan playing by itself, never try to catch it. The baby's parent is sure to be in the area, and it will become violently enraged.

"Point to be noted." Shu said while sweatdropping a bit.

"Now... let the battle begin!" Professor said being the referee of the match.

"Aurorus Use Calm mind! "Ayaka said as the fossil pokemon closed its eyes and calmed itself increasing its Sp. Atk and Def. "Increasing your attack and defence huh? Let's go for Fire Punch!" Iliama commanded his pokemon who rushed towards its opponent with its right fist covered in Fire.

Ayaka Pov

I waited for Kangaskhan to get nearer. Nearer........ A Bit more........ yes!

"Now Blizzard!" I said as my ice type re-opened her eyes and released a Very strong chilly wind which hit Kangaskhan accurately in the chest.

It was sent thrown against the ground as dust was sent flying everywhere. I looked at Iliama with a cocky smirk forming on my face but it quickly disappeared on seeing the smirk on his face. "JUST  like I predicted. You are far more predictable than I thought Ayaka." He said as my eyes widened when the dust cleared revealing a bit scratched but fine looking Kangaskhan.

"You think that a small blow of chilly wind is enough to stop us then you are very wrong 'cause its gonna take more than that to defeat him." He continued shocking me. "Now Use Earthquake !" He commanded as his pokemon started stamping its feet on the ground causing very strong seismic waves to form, disbalancing everyone including me and Aurorus.

"Aurorus use Stone Edge! " I yelled frantically hoping that my ice type would hear me.

Thankfully she heard that and quickly formed many sharp edged stones around her and released them towards Kangaskhan stopping it.

"Yes! Now use Hyper Beam! " I shouted excitedly thinking that I was gonna win. Aurorus gave me a doubtful look but started collecting energy anyways. I knew that it was a risky move but I wanted to do it the same like I did with Blizzard. But to my shock Iliama stood calmly looking at me not commanding his pokemon at all.

As soon as Aurorus collected the energy she released it in the form of a devastating beam of light. The Hyper Beam neared Kangaskhan who stood there calmly looking at the attack near it. At the last moment a single word "Protect" escaped Iliama's lips which caught me and Aurorus off guard as the normal type formed a bluish protective shield around itself rendering the move useless.

"See. I told you that you are so predictable. Your impatience will pay you a huge price in the end." He said pointing at my pokemon.

Aurorus was now panting heavily while Kangaskhan looked battered but looked a lot better than my ice type.

Now that Aurorus was recharging after the Hyper Beam she was as vulnerable as a small new born Catrpie. Iliama then told his pokemon to use Fire Punch again which successfully hit her. How can I be so naive to fall for that trick? Now it's my fault that Aurorus is suffering....

My hands stated feeling numb and my throat went dry. I blocked every noise around me as I fell into a pit of nothingness. I opened my eyes on to look straight into the faces of my parents who had sneers on their faces.

What a pathetic whore have you become. My father said while his sneer just went more Crueler.

I should have killed you the moment you were born. My mother spat with disgust as she slapped me on the cheek.

I held my burning cheeks as tears started swelling in my eyes

Pathetic..... weak..... loser..... Good for nothing brat..... BITCH.....

I held my head and yelled for them to stop but the voices didn't stop. As the voices kept telling me things I felt a hand on my shoulder. Thinking it to be my parents I hesitated to turn back.

I felt something warm on my shoulder and turned only to be met with bloody red hues. I hugged Crimson and sobbed in his chest. He simply sighed and said "Don't listen to those voices Ayaka. They are trying to hinder your progress and make you kill yourself like before. After all, Don't give up until its over right? "

That phrase..... whenever I would feel down or sad about some battle it would always cheer me up. I stopped crying and nodded at him firmly.

"Good. Now wake up and show them who's the boss." He said giving me his classic smirk before disappearing and everything went normal.

I slowly stood up and looked around seeing everyone including Aurorus and Kangaskhan looking at me worriedly. I wipped away my tears and gave a bright smile

Never give up until its over.

"Let's do this together Aurorus!" I said grinning while she gave a loud roar of acknowledgment. Iliama gave a small smile and said "Phew. You nearly had me worried for a minute." Which made me give him a small smile" Worry about yourself for now. Use Attract!  I shouted as Aurorus released many pink hearts and winked at Kangaskhan. I know that Kangaskhan's are female but thats just for a distraction.

"Seems like you haven't learnt your lesson yet! Fire Punch! "  he yelled as the normal type charged at Aurorus, breaking every heart with a  punch. (Aw.... what a "heart breaker" pokemon... hahahah.....get it ? *crickets make noises* no? 'Kay imma going to sit in a corner and sulk)  Now that it was within our attacking range Aurorus knew exactly what to do.

She ran towards Kangaskhan while it was caught off guard and slammed a Iron Tail on its head sending it against the wall of the Stands.

I thought i had won when to my surprise it slowly stood up and took its place in the battlefield again. It must be very strong to have taken an Iron Tail head on and is still standing.

"Seems like you caught me off guard this time huh. Well time to end this match. Hyper Beam! " he said as his pokemon started collecting energy for the move.

"You too." I said and she nodded before charging the same energy. As both of the finished charging the enegry we both shouted "HYPER BEAM/HYPER BEAM!!!!" They both released the devastating move at each other.

Tremor from the attack shook the ground while smoke and dust rose everywhere.

Silence. Everyone was silent waiting for the smoke to clear and see the results. As the smoke cleared I gasped on seeing Aurorus laying on the ground unmoving. Professor frowned and said "Aurorus is una-" WAIT!"

He was going to call the match when Iliama stopped him, motioning him to wait. Aurorus slowly opened her eyes and struggled to stand. She eventually managed to stand up on all four and gave a noble roar. She met eyes with Kangaskhan who gave her a small smile before going limp and collapsing on the Battlefield with a 'thump'.  I released the breath which I had been holding for so long and ran towards Aurorus and gave her a huge hug. "Thank you......" was all I could say as she softly grunted which I could call a 'welcome' and returned her.

Iliama approached me and said "That was the best match I ever had in years. I was seriously getting really bored because of the same routine like kids come here, they win and take the crystals etc. I would like to give you the Normalium-Z and an Eeveeium-Z as a thAnks for the amazing match." He said giving me two crystals which I excitedly took.

I went to the stands only to be greets with 13 excited kids aka 12 bladers and 1 professor. Everyone was talking about my pokemon and rest other bla bla bla shit.

"By the way Iliama told me something about a food eating competition in a nearby village. Wanna go there?" I asked only to be met with dust. As the dust cleared showing that there was no one there except Shu.

I sweatdropped a bit and started walking along the path with Shu beside me. "Are you ok?" He said looking at me worriedly. "Yeah! Fit and fine as ever." I said while trying to fight my blush but I was seriously squealing inside like a kid.

"Ok. If you want any help i will be there for you." He said coming too close for my comfort making me blush like a mad. I felt like i was on fire so I pushed him away and ran with him tailing behind me laughing.

A girl sat on the Rocky edge of a cliff with her legs dangling down it dangerously. Below the cliff flowed a Crystal clear river which was filled with water type Pokemons like Feebas, Magicarp and Finneon who would occasionally jump out of water. A group of Poliwags and Poliwhirl's played by the bank of the river. Beyond the river was a vast lush grassland covered in flowers of all types. Some Butterfree's and Combee's would often come here to collect nectar. A family of eevee's quietly minding their own business searched for some berriers while a group Bulbasaur and Chikorita lay basking in the sun. A group of Taillows, Starlys and Pidgeys flew around the sky while occasionally  disturbing the quiet silence of the place.

The girl's pitch black hair glossed In the sun as she slowly opened her eyes revealing beautiful yet dull sapphire blue eyes. She opened her mouth and started singing a beautiful yet sad song.

As she sang all the pokemon nearby stopped their games/works and quietly listened to the song. Even though her heart had become corrupted and cold, that didn't stop her from mourning over the death of her dead loved one.

As the song ended, the sound someone clapping startled the pokemon as they scampered/flew away in panic. The girl turned back and looked around carefully with a Shadow Claw replacing her hands. Seeing no one she turned away only to look into two red orbs staring at her which caught her off guard a bit. A single word escpaed her lips as she narrowed her eyes a bit.

"Crimson."
