Ice held her tail high as she led her cat's back to camp. Her warriors had no serious injuries from the battle. As they padded into camp, every cat swarmed around them to ask questions. "What happened?" Moss asked, concern in his eyes. "Was there a battle? Did you win?" Maple called. Willow padded up and pushed her way through the crowd. She sniffed at Ice's injured paw. "Yes, there was a battle. With ShadowClan, and I killed Rowanstar." She announced. The clearing erupted into cheering. Ice listened proudly to her warriors yowling their victory. After a few moments, she raised her tail for silence. Ice waited until her warriors quieted down. Then, she leapt onto the BonePile to make her announcement. "There was a battle just know with ShadowClan in which I killed their leader, Rowanstar. They had been attacking one of our patrols and our patrol was badly outnumbered so we joined in. They paid a price for intruding." She yowled across the clearing. The cat's below exchanged proud glances and they let out yowls of approval. "Let us rest and be ready for any attacks. I'm sure they'll want revenge for their leaders death." She called to her cat's. Then, she leapt down from the BonePile and padded across the clearing to her den. She grabbed a vole from the prey pile as she passed it and carried it to her den. As she entered her den, darkness swept over her. The floor felt mossy underpaw and she relished the feeling. She curled up in her nest and quickly ate her prey. Ice licked her paws and whiskers and gave her pelt a swift grooming. Once she finished that, she rested her head on her paws and let sleep wash over her.

Sorry for the short chapter, I just haven't updated this book inna while so I finally decided to today! I hope you guys like this and I might post more tomorrow if we get this snowstorm and have no school.
