The morning came again Elara just have returned from her sleeping mode. She plopped out of the bed and moved to kitchen. Completely move from scary night she stirred inside the kitchen in busy mode to make her favourite pancakes. The desolation between the morning  and yesterday night was a clash of her inconvenience of loneliness that was going on in her life nowadays.
Her closed teeth and expression of happiness behind her music enjoyment sympathised her situation.

"Pancakes are beautiful!"
She uttered the words alarmingly and kept the plates on the table. She occupied on the chair pulling it back and took a sip of lime juice she made with pancake.

"Weird combination!"
She groaned herself.

The contrast of morning business and pancakes taste still piercing her tongue made her little late to class. She packed she bag and walked esteemed through the roadside to her university. She know this will happen. She stopped as she heard a car horn behind her.
She saw a veiny hands popping out of the window and a male vocals spread in air.
"Hop in Lara!"

"Ellen!"

She run to the car excited and hoped jn opening the door. Squirming to the seat she adjusted herself pulling the seatbelt to her body.

"How is yesterday night."

"Ellen!"

"What?" Can't I ask?"

She gritted her teeth.
"Surely you know how to annoy me salary morning."

The car ride got filled up again with blabbering and their funny conversation.

"Don't compare me with Milo."

"Okay but I am not comparing himself to you."
She whispered but he heard.

"Lara, I know you are an innocent girl and you are not suitable for this world."

"I am not innocent don't judge me we have only been friends for 2 weeks now."
Elara said clicking her tongue mockingly.

"Ok okay, I agreed but there are some unfortunate things happening beyond your imagination in your village, that you didn't know and I am warning you to always satu inside and never open the window to see the moonlight."

"How...."
She got cut off again.

"I know what you are going to ask, but I won't answer."

"What the heck?"

"Yes that is a great warning if you ignore you will die."

"That won't happen."
She smirked.

"Don't show that smirk curiosity always kills the cat and unwanted boldness too."

"Fine I will stay inside the house."
Elara opened the door and get out from the car and run to the class without waiting for Ellen more warnings.
She saw Milo already seeting. Her eyebrows pushed up.

"Whatsup , so early?"
She yearned.

"Hi Lara! Yes I early."

"Didn't your fight got over by yesterday or are you both in silent treatment."
Submitting himself he said.

"Something like that is going on but don't meddle in it."

"Fine."

The class got started as Ellen also entered the class. Professors come and go each period when the bell rang. Subjects got changed each hours. But Ellen and Milo was still contemplating whether they should join back themselves removing the silence or should stay distanced as Elara won't get suspicious about their silently or recent nights events.

They know Elara won't think that much even if Ellen warns her about the night. But her mind got wandered to yesterday's night.

The howling of wolves from mountain and cascading moonlight over her village sky created a suspicious aura on her village. Recently the night events at her village got replaced each day since her mom left her alone, from the start of her back door attack at her house on the rainy night.

Her mind swirled in doubts. She turned to Ellen.
"Should I ask something?"

Ellen nods.

"Do you came by my house yesterday"

Ellen frozen hearing the question.
"Is that what you were thinking at the class till now?"

"Yes."

The stern look at the girls eye made him give the answer.
"No we weren't ."

She know he will deny it. But again she asked.
"Then how did you know I opened the window yesterday."

"Girls usually open the window at night when they were alone, especially when they see the moonlight."
She watched his face while he answering confident without any thoughts beforehand.

"Milo!"
She turned to Milo.

"Yes."
He whispered as the lecture is going on.

"Did you happen to around my house yesterday night?"

His face turned pale.
But he answered in mocking  mode.
"Yes to see bats who was roaming around the sky."

She kicked his foot resulted Milo to yell in class. Professor stopped the class for a moment.

"Answer what was I talking till now."

"The biological aspects of supernatural humans and the blood sucking vampires ...."

"Okay sit."
All students and Elara was stunned hearing his answers.

"How youu..."
She exclaimed.

"I have been studying ...."
Milo stopped when he got poked by Ellen under the table from front.
"I have been hearing the lectures while ou blabbered."

Elara nods and turned to the front. The bell rang and students left for next sessions. Elara turned back.
"How about a ditch of classes again?"

"Yes we can go for a ride."

Ellen mumbled.
"Enough of rides! Go and study Elara or you will not pass this semester."

"You and your grumpy attitude."

"Watch your language beautiful lady!"
Milo giggled hearing Ellen warning at Elara. She walked out of the class picking her bag and phone from the table murdering and whispering about Ellen.

Ellen turned to Milo.
"Mind your answers do not create a doubt."

"Says who warn her about nights on morning?"

"You again heard me?"
Ellen groaned.

Milo laughed.
"Yes kind of!"

"You!"
Ellen eun behind in seconds to catch Milo but saw the scene they didn't want to see. Elara was stuck in hands of Martin the boy they saw from gallery.
"I am back!"

Martin smirked pulling her to kiss aiming her lips.
"Back off or you will regret."
Boys shouted making other students shock.

Elara was tearing up each second staying helplessly without knowing the reason of her hostage situation at the public of her university.
