In the heavens high above, the God of all Pokemon stood watching two very young babies. A small girl with with pitch black hair, purple eyes with a bright sparkle to them, and a small boy with midnight black hair and silver eyes that shone in the moonlight. Arceus looked down upon these two small children and gave them a very special gift. "This gift will allow you special children to understand the many Pokemon friends you meet as you both grow," said Arceus.

The girl was given the name Aira and at the age of five Aira was always wondering deep into the forest where she would play with all the little pokemon including, Xerneas. The boy, who was given the name Zavier, was always playing with Lugia by the sea. Though many regions apart, they lived happy lives... or at least, one did. Aria's parents never let her near Pokemon. If they ever caught her near one they would immediately lock her in her room for a week, no questions asked. This caused Aria indescribable pain, as the only friends she really had were those pokemon. Zavier's parents were never really around during the day, but at night during dinner he would tell his parents over their meal how much fun he had that day playing with the pokemon.

When Aira finally turned seven, she ran away from her home and deep into the mountains. There, she met Yveltal. He cared for her, let her play with the Pokemon there, and made her feel right at home. Meanwhile, Zavier was learning how to care for Pokemon, how to battle, and enjoying his life with his parents right by his side. Three years later, Yveltal had disappeared and left Aria on her own. Aria decided she was ready to start her journey and hopefully one day find the one who ever really cared for her, like a real parent. Zavier was excited that same day. He was setting out on his own into the world. He had the support of his friends and family, and was ready for almost anything. This is where their story begins... three dreams, two trainers, one journey.
