Chapter 8, movie madness

"You can use your weaknesses to drive your strength, and obviously I am strong as shit!" - Negan, The Walking Dead.

Lincoln and Lynn stood atop the mysterious glowing red staircase. The sky was dark grey and cloudy. Lincoln and Lynn's hair flowed in the breeze as thunder roared in the distance.

"RED KING!!!!" Lincoln yelled. "I know you can here me! Show your face you coward!"

"Uh, I don't think that's a good idea." Lynn warned. "I distinctly remember you saying something about "Looking at him will make you go mad""

Lincoln turned to look at Lynn.

"Besides." Lynn said. "If this guy really lives in the center of the galaxy, I don't think he will here you if you just shout into the sky."

"This is where he first contacted me Lynn." Lincoln said. "He has to here me. I don't know how, but he is somehow connected to me."

"How do you know that?" Lynn asked. "Because some vague prophecy MAY have mentioned something, that COULD be referring to you?"

"You know Sparky took over your body for a while, right?" Lincoln said.

"The bug?" Lynn said.

"I was scared at first, but he assured me he wouldn't hurt you." Lincoln said. "He told me The Red King wanted us. He said this staircase was some sort of beacon, that it would contact the Red King."

"And you just let him turn it on?" Lynn said.

"I tried to fight him but..." Lincoln said. "He threatened to kill you. Said he would eat your brain if I didn't cooperate. He held you hostage Lynn."

"Well if this is some sort of beacon, like some sort of machine." Lynn said. "I'm sure it has some sort of controls around here somewhere."

Then a glowing red orb materialized before the two Louds.

"Well what did I tell ya." Lynn said with a smile.

Lincoln touched the orb, then the orb expanded out into a vast hologram of the entire galaxy. The hologram was about the size of the local public swimming pool and seemed co cover their entire field of view.

Lincoln and Lynn looked in wonders at the images of planets and stars.

"Whoa." They both said in amazement.

"Please enter a command." Came a robotic voice.

"Patch me through to..." Lincoln said. "The Red King."

"Patching you through to The Red King." The robotic voice said.

"Wow that actually worked." Lynn said.

Then the red orb appeared again. The orb spoke in some alien language Lincoln couldn't understand.

"Is this the Red King?" Lincoln asked.

More alien words.

"I don't think it speaks English." Lynn said.

"Red King I have come to bargain." Lincoln said.

More alien words.

"My life..." Lincoln said. "In exchange for you sparing the lives of my species, and my family. I know you want me, so take me, and leave this planet alone."

"Lincoln..." Lynn said. "Don't do this."

"I have to Lynn." Lincoln said. "I can't let you guys get hurt just to protect me. It's better this way."

"Is this like a suicide thing?" Lynn asked.

"What?"

"I'm not stupid Lincoln." Lynn said. "I know what you think of yourself. I know you think you're worthless, that the family would be better off without you." Lynn put her foot down. "But that's not true at all! We need you Lincoln, you mean a lot to us."

"You're just saying that." Lincoln replied. "Because you feel like you have too. But just because we're related, doesn't mean you need to pretend to like me."

"We're not pretending?" Lynn said. "I'm not pretending. I love you, and not just because you're my brother. I love you because I can always count on you, because you're nice, because you fun, because you always have a plan. Even if it's a stupid plan, one that's sure to fail, you still have a plan, and you stick to it. I RESPECT you for that Linc. Even if we weren't related, I would still want to hang out with you, I would still want to be your best friend, because your cool. In your own dorky and sometimes kind of gross way you're one of the coolest people I know. You're not just my brother Lincoln, you're my best friend."

"You really think that?" Lincoln said.

"Lincoln Loud." A dark, calm, and familiar voice came from the red orb. "This is the Red King. We really need to talk."

"Is that really him?" Lynn asked.

"You here it too?" Lincoln said.

"Well I am on speaker phone." The Red King's voice came from the orb. "Of course, she can fuckin' hear me."

"Guy's got a dirty mouth doesn't he." Lynn said.

"I heard that." The Red King's voice informed them.

"What do you want with me?" Lincoln asked. "With my family. I don't care what some prophecy says, we're no threat to you, so leave us alone!"

"Damn look at the balls on you!" The Red King said through the communication device. "But seriously Lincoln, there is a LOT you need to know, and a LOT we need to discuss."

"Like what?" Lincoln demanded.

"Well first of all..." The Red King said. "LOOK OUT BEHIND YOU!!!!"

The two turned around to see the Harvester. He was holding a scythe above his head, with a wild angry look in his eyes. The Harvester slammed the Scythe into the ground and the two louds ducked out of the way.

The red orb and holograms went away.

"You didn't think you could get away from me that easy, did you?" The Harvester asked. He swiped at Lynn. The edge of the scythe hit Lynn in the temple, and she fell to the ground.

"Oh, come on!" The Harvester said. "Where did all that strength go?"

Lynn got to her knees and spat up some blood.

"STAY AWAY FROM HER!!!!" Lincoln yelled as he lunged at The Harvester.

The Harvester stopped Lincoln by placing his hand on his forehead and holding him as Lincoln swung his fists at The Harvester.

"You gotta be kidding me." The Harvester said pushing Lincoln to the ground. Then he turned around and grabbed Lynn by the throat and lifting her off the ground. "You're not the same girl that fought me earlier are you. Same body, but something else was controlling you wasn't it. You don't even remember how you got free do you?" Then the Harvester threw Lynn off of the staircase.

"Lynn!" Lincoln yelled.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Lynn screamed as she fell. She landed in the trees, and the branches broke her fall, slowing her descent to land safely on the ground.

"Now it's your turn kid." The Harvester said, hoisting his scythe high in the air, as thunder rolled in the background and lightning streaked across the sky. "Any last words?"

"Yeah." Lincoln smiled. "Maybe hold that scythe a little higher."

"Like this?" The Harvester held the scythe higher, with a confused look on his face.

Then a bolt of lightning struck the Harvester's scythe.

The Harvester let out another scream as the lightning channeled through his body. Lincoln jumped off of the staircase as it started to crackle and spark from the lightning.

Just like Lynn, Lincoln's fall was slowed by the branches, allowing him to land safely on the ground.

Lincoln and Lynn watch the staircase sparkle and burst into flames. Then the red lights died down. The staircase was now dark, and bellowing smoke.

Lincoln heard a whisper in the wind.

"Beware the shadow." The voice whispered.

"What shadow?" Lincoln said.

"I didn't say anything about a shadow." Lynn said.

"No not you..." Lincoln said. "It was... never mind."

"Is it just me... Or did the big bad Red King just save our lives." Lynn said.

"Huh?"

"He told us to look out just before the Harvester attacked us." Lynn explained. "I thought the Red King was the one trying to kill us. Why would he warn us?"

"I don't know." Lincoln said.

"Maybe the Red King's not really a bad guy." Lynn suggested.

"No, agent Jay told me about what was said in those ruins." Lincoln said. "They basically said The Red King was the harbinger of death."

"Maybe they were just rumors?" Lynn suggested. "I mean you can't believe everything you read on.... Ancient ruins."

"Either way." Lincoln said. "There's much more going on here than we previously thought. We should try to find Benny."

"Luan's boyfriend?" Lynn said.

"Luan told me he's a huge conspiracy nut." Lincoln said. "And Zach said he hangs out with the guy, and I guess Benny has a lot of alien movies. So, I'm sure he knows something about this."

...

Lincoln and Lynn ran out of the woods and bumped into Luan.

"Lincoln! Lynn! You guys have to help me!" Luan said. She showed them her phone. It had a message from an unknown number.

Lincoln read the message out loud. "Luan Loud, if you ever want to see your boyfriend alive again, meet me at this address."

"Holy crap!" Lincoln said. "Did you tell the police about this."

"No." Luan said. "The same guy sent me a message saying he'll kill Benny if the police get involved."

"Dang, and we need Benny." Lynn said.

"Ok we'll come with you." Lincoln said.

...

"Well this is a tad bit creepy." Lynn said as the trio found themselves in a dark alleyway.

"There he is!" Luan said, noticing Benny tied to a chair in the middle of the alley. She ran over to him and untied him.

"You know this is a trap, right?" Benny said.

"you know I wasn't always a man who reads comics." A voice came from the darkness.

"Who was that?" Luan called out.

"Oh man you're not going to believe this one Luan." Benny said.

"Oh, you have gotta be kidding me." Lynn said, as the mysterious figure stepped out into the light.

"Is that who did this to you?" Luan asked.

"It's... it's..." Lincoln stammered.

It was a clown. But not an ordinary clown.

He had a purple suit, white face and long green hair. Instead of a smile being painted on his face, he had two grotesque scars coming from his lips and forming a nightmarish smile.
"But I did find this on comic that caught my eye." The Clown said. "Some really stupid card-based hero named Ace Savvy. Probably one of the most uninspired, and idiotic things I have ever read. Apparently one issue was actually made by a fan. This issue featured ten young girls who fought by the side of the hero. I did a little digging to find out the kid who wrote it, was named Lincoln Loud, and he based these characters on his own sisters.

Now one of the characters that caught my attention in particular was the one he based on you Luan. Or should I say The Joker?"

The clown pulled out a knife. "Actually, I shouldn't call you that, because that's MY NAME!!!!" He growled.

"Hey, don't look at me!" Luan said. "Lincoln's the one who came up with that name."

"Well how was I supposed to know that the Joker would turn out to be real?" Lincoln said. "And that he'd take offense at us using his name."

"To be honest Luan." Lynn said. "I'm kind of surprised you didn't say anything. I mean I noticed it right away! I think the whole family did. I mean everyone knows about the Bat-Man comics."

"Bat-man comics?" The Joker mumbled.

"So, you're doing all this just because Luan and Lincoln stole your name?" Benny said.

"I am the clown prince of crime." The Joker said. "My name should be feared. Yet here I find my name, being used to describe and annoying, unfunny, little girl."

"Well that was uncalled for." Luan said.

Then the Joker grabbed Luan by the throat and put a knife to her mouth.

"If you really want to be the Joker." The Joker said. "Then LET'S PUT A SMILE ON THAT FACE!!!!"

Then Lynn punched the Joker in the nuts as hard as she could.

"WHOAH!" The Joker let go of Luan and doubled over in pain.

"Come on, let's get out of here!" Lincoln announced.

The group fled the scene.

"Oh, come on guys!" The Joker said as he got back to his feet. "DON'T YOU WANNA KNOW HOW I GOT THESE SCARS!?!?!" Then he let out a burst of psychotic laughter.

...

Lori went to her Babysitting job for the day. She was sitting for the Doyle family. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle were going out and had hired Lori to babysit their son Tommy Doyle.

A young woman named Lori, babysitting a kid named Tommy Doyle, while a masked killer is on the loose. Clearly this is going to end very well for Lori.

"So, what are you watching?' Lori asked, as Tommy was sitting on the couch with the T.V on.

"The news" Tommy explained.

"Since when do you watch the news?" Lori asked.

"Since they found a sea monster in the Atlantic Ocean." Tommy said, pointing to the T.V.

"Sea monster?' Lori said.

The T.V was showing a news story about five more ships that have been mysteriously capsized in the ocean. Lori turned the volume up.

"It is unclear what is causing these tragic accidents." The news lady said. "There have also been reports of spikes in water temperature where the ship wrecks have occurred."

Lori remembered what Lincoln said about The Red King sending movie monsters to come after them.

"It's probably nothing." Lori said, she didn't even want to know what could be powerful enough to sink all those ships. "How about we watch something a little cheerier."

She flipped the station to Nickelodeon. The channel was usually full of family fun. Though at that moment it seemed Nick decided to run some old reruns of Invader Zim. It was the episode called "Dark Harvest" where Invader Zim went around harvesting organs from his classmates.

"See, totally age appropriate." Lori said, as the screen showed an intestine plop out of an engorged Zim. (I am not making that up, that is really in an episode of Invader Zim. That was really a one of a kind show.)

"OO, Invader Zim!" Tommy said, jumping up and down on the couch with joy. "I can't wait to imitate this bad behavior!"

"Well enjoy." Lori said as she headed into the kitchen. She pulled up her phone and searched for any news around these ship wrecks.

She found that some witnesses have reported a blue glow just beneath the waves.

Lori looked to the counter to see one of Tommy's action figures. It was a figure of Godzilla. She picked up the toy and pressed a button on it. The tiny dinosaur made a roaring sound, and its spikes glowed blue.

"Psh. No way." Lori chuckled. "Lori you are literally jumping to conclusions." She said to herself. "Just don't let Lincoln's cry for attention get to your head. There's literally a logical explanation for all of this. Like mass hysteria or something. What Leni and I saw was probably just a result of sleep paralysis, Lynn probably just fell out of her bed and hurt her back, and Lincoln just has an over active imagination is all. And what's going on in the ocean is some sort of natural phenomena. Movie characters are not coming to life, there is no alien god after me or my family, and Godzilla is not real."

Then Lori saw movement outside the window. She looked out in the back and saw him.

The man in the white mask. He was standing in the backyard as sheets hung on a clothes line flowed in the breeze.

Lori rubbed her eyes. She opened them back up and the man was gone.

"This can't be happening." Lori said.

...

The alien bug, Sparky had gotten back into his James Prawly disguise and made his was back to the woods.

He found the staircase smoldering and in ruins.

"Bullocks." Prawly said. "This is gonna take forever to fix."

He heard a moaning nearby.

A spike extended from Prawly's hand. "Who goes there?"

The Harvester stumbled out of the bushes. His clothes where burned, his face was blackened, and his hair was burned off.

"Prepare to have your organs harvested by.... The harvester!" The Harvester said in a slurred voice as he stumbled around like a drunk man, pointing his scythe at Prawly.

"Get lost hick!" Prawly said.

"Ok." The Harvester said. Then he stumbled off into the woods.

...

Lincoln, Lynn, Luan, and Benny made it back to The Loud House.

"Whoa dudes, what's the rush?" Luna asked as they all piled into the house. Luna was sitting on the couch with Leni, they where watching "The Dream Boat."

"WE SAW THE HARVESTER!" Lincoln and Lynn announced.

"And the Joker!" Luan added.

"Wait I thought Luan was the Joker." Leni said.

"No, not your fan characters from Ace Savvy." Benny said. "The ORIGINAL Joker! The real one, from DC comics!"

Leni stared at them blankly.

"Batman's ach nemesis!" Benny clarified. "The psycho who goes around dressed as a clown and carves smiles into peoples faces as he kills them."

"Pennywise?" Leni said.

Everyone in the room face palmed.

"So, you're saying Lincoln's theory about the movie characters is true?" Luna asked.

The four of them nodded.

"So, you think The Red King is real too?" Luna asked.

"I talked to him." Lincoln said.

"Whoa you actually saw him?" Luna said.

"Well I didn't see him." Lincoln admitted. "It turns out that that staircase in the woods is some sort of alien communication device slash docking station for spaceships. We were able to communicate with the Red King through that."

"Wait, who's the Red King?" Benny asked.

"Oh, just an evil, all powerful alien god." Lynn replied.

"AWESOME!" Benny said. "Did he tell you anything, like the secrets of the universe."

"He said he really needs to talk to me about something." Lincoln said.

"Well clearly that's a trap bro." Luna warned.

"Well he did warn us about the Harvester." Lynn added.

"He probably just wants to make sure he can kill you himself." Benny said. "It's like when I play games online, it bugs the crap out of me when people steel my kills."

"Wait a minute guys." Luna said. "Lori's out babysitting."

"So?" Lincoln said.

"You said you and Lucy saw Michael Myers." Luna replied. "Haven't you seen Halloween? Michael Myers kills babysitters dude!"

"And everyone sings songs about scaring people." Leni said. "And that tall skinny guy dresses up like Santa close."

"Uh dude." Luna said. "You're thinking of Nightmare Before Christmas."

"Uh, No I'm not." Leni said. "I'm thinking of Halloween. Why else would they be singing "this is Halloween"?"

"She's not very bright, is she?" Benny said.

"No but she's nice." Lincoln said. "So, we still love her."

"Guys, I don't feel so good." Lynn said. "I... I feel kind of light-headed."

Then Lynn fell to the ground, unconscious.

"LYNN!" Everyone screamed.

...

Lynn awoke to find herself in a boiler room. Steam shot off of old boilers and the room was bathed in a hellish red glow.

Lynn got to her feet. She heard the sound of little girls chanting.

"One two... Freddy's coming for you."

"Not again." Lynn moaned, as a deep, demonic laughter filled the air.

...

"We gotta get her up!" Lincoln said.

"What's going on?" Benny asked.

"It's Freddy Krueger." Lincoln replied. "He's got her under some kind of sleeping spell."

"Freddy Krueger." Benny said. "Like from Nightmare on Elm St.?"

"Exactly." Lincoln said.

"Yeah, it' a real Nightmare." Luan said.

The room was silent.

"Yeah even I thought that was a bad one." Luan admitted.

"The Joker would probably say it was a BAT one." Benny said. Both Benny and Luan started to laugh.

"Leni, Luan." Lincoln ordered. "You guys stay here. Benny and Luna. You guys come with me to save Lori."

"But I wanna help Lori." Leni pleaded. Lori and Leni where always closer than any of the siblings, aside from maybe the twins. It made sense that Leni would want to put her life on the line to help Lori. Unfortunately, Lincoln knew that Leni would be no match for Michael Myers. It was bad enough Lori and Lynn were in trouble, he didn't want to lose Leni too.

Luna on the other hand could handle herself in a fight. He didn't want to lose Luna either, but Lincoln also knew he couldn't take on Michael Myers by himself. And they didn't need to defeat Michael, or even fight him, they just needed to get Lori to safety. With Lynn at the Mercy of Freddy Krueger, Luna was the best chance Lincoln had. Plus, Benny seemed like he could handle himself.

"Leni, I need you here." Lincoln said. "Lynn is being hunted by Freddy Krueger. Freddy kills by turning his victims fears on them. Once you get Lynn awake, what she's gonna need most is love and comfort. And I know that's what you do best."

"Ok." Leni said. "I'll do my best."

"And Luan." Lincoln said. "The Joker is surely going to be gunning for you. Right now, it's not safe for you out there."

"I won't argue with that." Luan said. "Killer clowns are no joke. Ha ha get it?"

"Time to put operation, save Lori from Michael Myers, while also saving Lynn from the clutches of Freddy Krueger while avoiding the Joker, the Harvester, and sparky the alien brain parasite. And also think of a shorter name for this operation into action." Lincoln proclaimed.

"Does he always do that?" Benny asked.

"Wow," Luan said. "Freddy Krueger. Michael Myers, The Joker, AND the Harvester? This is like some sort of movie madness."

...

Lori sat on the couch as Tommy, the kid she was looking after watched cartoons. She was on her phone. She looked through Facebook a bit, then decided to text Bobby.

Lori: Bobo bear?

Bobby: Yeah Babe?

Lori: Have you noticed anything strange going on?

Bobby: Like what?

Lori: This is going to sound really crazy...

Bobby: Try me.

Lori: Well my siblings seem to think monsters from movies are coming to get them.

Bobby: Well, that would explain that mushroom thing I saw.

Lori: Mushroom?

Bobby: Yeah, this creature that looked just like one of those goomba things from the Mario games. It just ran off into the woods. Though Mario bros is a video game and not a movie.

Lori: Are you serious?

Bobby: Well there was that one movie, but it wasn't very good.

Then the doorbell rang, and Lori jumped.

...

Lynn walked through her horrible nightmare. A maze of steamy boilers bathed in red light.

"1...2... Freddy's coming for you."

"WOULD YOU JUST SHUT UP!" Lynn yelled.

Then came a slow laughter. The dark silhouette of the infamous Freddy Krueger stood before her.

Lynn turned and ran the other way. Freddy fallowed, his nails scraping against the steal pipes and creating sparks.

Lynn rounded a corner only to see Freddy just ahead of.

"Oh, come on!" Lynn yelled. She turned around only to see Freddy once again in head of her. Lynn went down another hallway and turned another corner. There he was again scrapping his nails along the metal pipes, slowly closing in on her.

"How is this even possible." Lynn yelled. She turned around to find Freddy right in front of her face. Lynn's heart stopped for a few seconds.

"You're in my world now little girl." Freddy laughed.

"Yeah well this is MY DREAM!" Lynn said, throwing a punch in Freddy's direction.

"But my rules." Freddy said as he caught Lynn's fist with the hand that didn't have claws. He threw Lynn down the hallway. She landed on her back with a thud.

"Lynn!" A soft voice could be heard.

"Who is that?" Lynn asked.

"Lynn, it's Leni, you need to wake up!" Leni called out.

...

Leni and Luan shook Lynn trying to wake her up.

...

In the dream world, Lynn got back to her feet. She grabbed onto one of the hot steam pipes.

"GAH!" She yelled as the hot metal burned her hand.

...

Back in the real world burn marks started to appear on her hand.

"Lynn." Luan said to her unconscious sister, hoping she could hear her in the dream world. "Don't forget, whatever happens to you in the dream world, happens to you in real life."

...

Back in the Dream world, Lynn held her hand in pain. She luckily did hear Luan's warning.

"Yeah I knew that." Lynn grunted, not that anyone could hear her. "But I thought pain was supposed to wake me up."

"If pain woke you up." Freddy interrupted. "Then we wouldn't be able to have fun."

...

"Hey wait!" Leni smiled. "You remember that movie about the dreams?"

"If you mean A Nightmare on Elm St. That's kind of the whole problem Leni." Luan said.

"No not that one." Leni said. "The more actiony one! You know, the one with the guy from Titanic. Where all the buildings float. And they go into dreams within dreams."

"INCEPTION!" Luan said.

"Yes, that's it." Leni said. "Remember how they woke themselves up? I need you to fill the bathtub with cold water."

"I see what you're getting at!" Luan said, then ran upstairs.

"Hurry!" Leni yelled.

Luan filled the bathtub with ice cold water. Then the two of them carried Lynn upstairs.

...

Back in the dream world, Lynn was crawling on her back, as Freddy slashed at her.

Lynn put her arm up to block Freddy's slash. His claws slashed her arm.

...

Back in the real-world Leni and Luan could see slash marks appear on Lynn's arm.

"Oh no, we gotta hurry!" Leni said. "1...2...3..."

...

Back in the dream world tentacles came from the ground and wrapped around Lynn's arms and legs, pinning her to the floor.

"Time for the finishing blow." Freddy said, raising his clawed hand.

Then they heard what sounded like a waterfall.

Freddy looked back to see a wall of water rushing toward him and his would-be victim.

"Oh sh.." Freddy said just before he and Lynn were hit with a title wave of water.

...

Lynn burst from the cold bathtub gasping for breath.

It took her a few seconds to process what had just happened, and where she was.

She looked down into the tub.

"A tub of cold water?" Lynn said. "Nice thinking Luan."

"Actually, it was Leni's idea." Luan said.

"Really?" Lynn looked at Leni in amazement.

"Oh, it was nothing." Leni said.

"You... you saved my life!" Lynn said. "At least for now. No doubt Freddy will be waiting for the next time I go to sleep."

"For now, let's just get you into some dry clothes." Leni said with a warm smile.

...

"Lincoln?" Lori said, answering the door. "What are you doing here? And why did you bring Luna, and Benny?"

"We came here to make sure you're safe bra." Luna said. "Michael Myers is on the loose, and you're babysitting. Michael Myers kills babysitters."

Lori facepalmed. "Ugh, Luna don't tell me you're buying all of this. And did you guys really need to drag poor Benny into this?"

"It's true Lori." Benny said. "Luan and I were just attacked by the Joker!"

"The Joker?" Lori raised an eyebrow. "Like from batman?"

"Lori how can you be so skeptical right now?" Lincoln asked "You saw The Rake in your room last night. It tried to attack Leni. How can you not see something big is happening?"

"Look Lincoln." Lori said. "Yes, some strange things have been happening, that much is true. And you know I love you, I really do. But there is nothing that will convince me that there is some alien god, who lives on the center of our galaxy. That for SOME reason is out to get US SPECIFICALLY!"

"Lori! You gotta come see this!" Tommy shouted from inside the house.

Lori and the others went into the house to see what was on the TV.

Their Jaws dropped at what they saw.

It was a news report. Live footage coming from the bay in New York City. The footage showed some massive creature rising from the bay.

"You are hearing this right." The news reporter said. "It seems that... I can't believe I am going to say this on live television but... Godzilla seems to have risen from the Atlantic and is now making his way to New York City."

"That proof enough for you?" Lincoln asked.

"I uh...." Lori stuttered. "Eh he he he..." She began to let out a nervous laugh. She sat down with her back against the nearest wall. Her hands clutching her golden blond hair tightly as she rocked back and forth.

"Lori are you ok?" Lincoln asked in a calm voice. He knelt down by his older sister to try and comfort her.

Lori suddenly grabbed Lincoln by the color and pulled him to her face.

"OF COURSE, I'M NOT OK!!!!" Lori yelled. "GODZILLA IS REAL! MICHEAL MYERS IS STALKING THIS HOUSE, AND AN ALIEN GOD IS GOING TO KILL US!!!!!!!!"

"Michael Myers is here?" Tommy asked.

"I saw him outside a few minutes ago." Lori said, letting go of Lincoln and huddling back into a ball. "I didn't say anything because I thought he was just a figment of my imagination. He just vanished so fast. But seeing that the actual Godzilla is in New York. Michael is probably real too."

They heard a crash from somewhere in the house.

"We're going to die and it's all my fault." Lori started to cry. "I'm sorry I didn't believe you Lincoln."

"How do we stop Michael Myers?" Tommy asked. "Isn't he like, immortal or something?"

"You guys said he kills babysitters?" Lori said.

Lincoln nodded.

"Then it's me he wants." Lori said. "You guys go, I'll hold him off." Lori got up and wiped the tears from her face. "Lincoln, Luna it's been an honor to be your sister. I love you both and tell the rest of our siblings I love them too. And Benny... You're cool too"

"No!" Benny said. "Lori, we came all this way to save you, and we're not leaving without you."

"Yeah!" Luna said. "We can take this guy together! Come on!"

"But he's literally invincible." Lori said.

"We don't need to beat him." Lincoln announced. "We just need to escape him. We just need to get back to the Loud House and regroup. We can take Tommy with us."

"Sweet!" Tommy said. "Road trip!"

"We just need to get a plan together." Lincoln said. "And we can beat these movie monsters and stop the Red King."

"Actually, I think Lori can beat Michael Myers." Tommy pointed out.

"Me?" Lori said. "Against Michael Myers. No way, that guy will kill me."

"Haven't you guys heard of the final girl trope?" Tommy said. "I mean seriously, Lori Loud, Laurie Strode, HELLO! Am I the only one who sees the connection?"

"DUDES!" Luna yelled, pointing down the hallway. "IT'S HIM!!!!"

Michael Myers had appeared in the dark hallway and was slowly moving toward them.

"You guys go, I'll hold him off." Lori said.

"But Lori!" Lincoln protested.

"I SAID GO!" Lori yelled.

Michael walked up to Lori and raised his knife. Lori punched Michael in the chest.

"GET OUT OF HERE NOW!" Lori demanded.

"But we can fight him!" Luna said.

"GO NOW! GET TO THE VAN!" Lori said. The others left out the front door.

Michael started to fallow them.

"HEY, MICHAEL OVER HERE!" Lori yelled.

Michael turned around. Lori could hear the heavy breathing that had become iconic to Michael Myers.

I can't believe this is really happening. Lori thought.

Michael raised his knife as he walked toward Lori.

Then three red glowing dots appeared on Michaels head.

SSSSSHHHBBBEEEWWWWWW!!!!!!!!

A blast of blue energy exploded though the window and knocked Michael Myers to the ground.

"WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT?!?!" Lori yelled. She heard a thud, like something huge had landed in the room. Then the creature appeared.

It was a humanoid creature that was nearly 7 feet tall. Tentacle like appendages grew from the back of the creatures head and acted like it's hair. It's skin looked green and scaly. It had blades coming down along the back of its wrists. A futuristic alien gun was mounted on its shoulder. And its face was covered in a metal mask.

"Oh great." Lori said. "Now Predator is here too. So, if I don't get stabbed to death Michael Myers, I get to have my head ripped off and mounted on some alien's wall!"

Michael Myers got back to his feet and turned his attention to the Predator.

The Predator extended his wrist blades and let out a loud roar.

Michael stabbed his knife into the Predator's chest. The creature roared and black goo oozed out of the Predator's wound.

"Wait a minute." Lori said as she watched the black goo hit the floor. "I thought Predator had green blood."

Then Predator plunged his wrist blades into Michael Myers. He pulled the blades out and black goo spilled onto the floor.

"Now I know that's not write." Lori said. From the very little she had seen of Halloween, Lori was pretty sure Michael Myers was at least somewhat human. At least human enough for his blood to be red not black. And Predator's glowing green blood was iconic.

Predator threw Michael threw front door, shattering the door.

Michael got back up. He raised his knife and started to walk toward the Predator.

The Predator shot a blast of energy that hit Michael in the stomach, blasting a huge hole in the middle of his body.

Michael looked down at the gaping hole in his body. He poked his finger into it, then he brought his finger to his face to see the back goo on his finger. Then he looked back at Predator. Predator shot another blast that hit Michael in the face. Michael's head exploded in a gooey black burst.

Then Michael's entire body popped like a balloon full of black goo. The Predator walked over to the puddle of black goo that was once Michael Myers.

Then the Predator disappeared.

Once Tommy's parents returned home, Lori apologized for the door and promised to pay them back for it.

Mr. and Mrs. Doyle where not happy at all. Unfortunately, there was nothing Lori could do.

She just took her siblings, and Benny and drove home, accepting that she would likely never be hired to babysit for the Doyle's ever again. It would be a miracle if they didn't press charges.

"Lincoln?" Lori asked. "What color is Predator's blood?"

"Green." Lincoln said. "Predator has green blood. Everyone knows that."

"And Michael Myers has red blood, right?" Lori said.

"Yeah." Lincoln said. "Of course."

"Both of those things had black blood." Lori said with a shudder.

"You gotta understand." Lincoln said. "Technically that wasn't Michael Myers or Predator. They were some sort of alien clones."

"Created by the Red King, right?" Lori said. "He made them to come... to come get us."

"I think so." Lincoln said.

"Well if the Red King wanted those things to...you know... end us." Lori said. "Why would they fight each other?"

"Who cares, that was totally AWESOME!!!!!" Benny interrupted.

"Benny!" Lori shot back.

"I... I don't know anymore." Lincoln said. "I don't know anything anymore. I don't know if I ever had."

The Red King's words circled around in Lincoln's head. There is a lot for you to learn. There is a lot we need to talk about. Beware the shadow.

What shadow? Lincoln wondered. Who is really behind all of this? Who IS the Red King?

"LOOK OUT!" Luna yelled as a giant bug leg came down on Vanzilla.

Lori swerved out of the way just in time.

They saw what the leg was attached to.

It was a creature with a huge blobby green body, and spider legs. It's mouth was as wide as it's body and filled with razor sharp teeth. It had 10 glowing red eyes.

"That must be what attacked Lana!" Lincoln said.

"I thought Lana said it was dead!" Lori said.

"Well it must have had siblings." Luna said.

Lori put the paddle to the meddle to get out of the way of the creature's long sticky tongue.

Vanzilla soared through the air as Lori drove over a hill at top speed. The monster swiped at the van with its bug legs and missed. The van landed on the ground with a crash and kept on driving.

"Maybe there's something we can throw at it!" Benny exclaimed.

Luna found a baseball and threw it at the monster. The ball just bounced off the creature like nothing.

"Hey what's this?" Benny asked, holding up a vile of green liquid.

"Must be some of Lisa's chemicals." Lincoln said taking the vile from Benny.

Lincoln shook the test tube as hard as he could and threw it at the monster. The vile landed in the creature's mouth and he swallowed it.

Then the monster exploded with a black gooey splat.

"Remind me never to get on Lisa's bad side." Lori said. Then they made their way back to the Loud House.

...

Prawly stood proudly in the woods as the staircase once again started to glow red. The possessed man looked up to the sky and smiled with his arms outstretched.

Bright lights descended from the heavens.

"Finally." Prawly said. "The cavalry has arrived."
