Poem Forty-Nine - ♪ Our Scars

There once was a time
We lived without our scars.
At least, there was a time I lived without mine.

Most are good, but some also have extras.
Most are just mental memories that we still carry,
Ones that vanish in front of a camera.

No longer cute and harmless,
We now have defense.
But the consciousness of age comes with variants of light and darkness.

But through thick and thin, our scars stay with us.

I don't know. Crapy poem inspired by the song Stressed Out.
