Yaoyorozu's PoV

I turned over, unable to sleep. I lifted my arm closer to my face and looked at the bracelet. It was purple, Jirou's favourite colour.

I smiled, thinking about what she had said not too long ago.

"Whenever I see it I'll be reminded of you!" She had said, so oblivious to the happiness that phrase brought me. I felt my eyes tear up, I let the tears run down my cheeks before swiftly wiping them away. I always got emotional over little things like this, but they always meant so much to me.

Through my curtains, I noticed the sky was now growing brighter and in not too long it would grow to be a bright azure. I was so happy I hadn't realised how long had passed and morning was soon to arrive. I tapped on Kyoka's shoulder, she woke up with a gasp.

"Yaoyorozu! What time is it?" She rubbed her eyes then stretched her arms above her head.

"Sorry." I giggled, covering my smile with one hand. "I don't know really. Maybe around four?"

"What?" She sighed. "Why so early?"

"I just wanted to ask if you wanted to come out and come outside with me?" I smiled. The edges of her mouth turned up into a small smile.

"I would love nothing more." She said.

We ran through my garden barefoot, I held her hand as I led her to the pergola in my garden. It was decorated with fairy lights I had set up. I noticed Kyoka's eyes light up with excitement. I grinned, running inside the wooden structure and finding a seat to sit on. We sat on the same seat as we were both feeling the effects of the cold, we hugged to save space and to keep each other warm.

It was still pretty dark, so the stars were still slightly visible. Kyoka pointed around the stars happily, asking me if I knew  what any of them were.

"I do believe that's Capricorn." I said, she smiled.

"That's so cool!" She laughed, her cheeks were flushed rosy and her face bathed in the light of the fairy lights.

"You're beautiful." I told her. Immediately her laughter switched from a joyous exclamation to an embarrassed chuckle as her face grew more red.

"Wha-what?" She asked with her face appearing the same shade as her new bracelet.

"I said you're beautiful!" I told her. She let out an embarrassed squeak. I laughed and hugged her closer.

We hugged like this for a few minutes until I began to hear quiet snores, I looked down to realise she was asleep. I smiled softly, tucking her hair behind her ear.
