Thankfully enough, she discarded that strange scented coffee and was not greeted by the smell of raw fish and salt so early in the morning. However when she came back from work, she discovered that there was a black out that went on for almost the whole day that day, and since her workplace was quite far from her house, she went unaffected nor was she notified of the unfortunate event. 

But that wasn't the strangest part of her day; upon opening  the fridge she of course expected all the frozen meat had rot, but somehow the plastic container for the fishes exploded and there was small fish everywhere.

There were so many and so rotten that Lanmè gagged and sat down before she even had the guts to clean it. 

Of course the fact that the perfectly safe and sealed container exploding was worrying but she was too busy trying to clean up the mess of fish that she didn't have the time to think about it.

That was mistake number two
