Friday. Yes today is the day that makikita ko si Kyle before the Homecoming. It is already 7:30 am nang ginising ako ni Claire. Nakahanda na ang breakfast, of course si Claire na nagluto coz she knows I'm a sleepy head, pero kontrolado na ngayon. Nag tooth brush muna ako at nagshower na rin bago pumunta sa dining table. I am only wearing a pair of leggings and a loose shirt. Sanay na akong ganito ang pambahay ko. Si Claire naman ay naka sleeveless na gray and shorts.

"Good morning po Señorita, food is here na po", ang sabi ni Claire habang naka upo na sa may dining area.

" Sino ba kasing nagsabi sa'yo na ikaw magluto?", I replied to her.

"Tulog ka kasi, alangan namang magluto ka habang tulog.", she replied to me sarcastically.

" Kumain na nga lang tayo, masamang pinag-aantay ang grasya", tugon ko kay Claire.

"Are you ready? I mean you know, Kyle?", biglang sabi ni Claire.

Bigla akong nasamid sa kinakain ko at inabot ni Claire ang baso na may tubig bago ako sumagot sa tanong nya.

" Uhm, of course. Ready na kung ready. Matagal na yun." , I replied confidently.

"Good sis, good. Basta be yourself lang. I got your back.", Claire winked at me.

" Thanks Claire!" , I replied with a smile.

Matapos naming kumain ay ako na ang naghugas ng mga plato at pinaglutuan ni Claire. Since malaki pa naman ang time, and 9am pa ang meet up time sa venue, may oras pa akong magready. Almost 8 am na akong natapos maglinis at mag ayos ng condo. Si Claire nauna nang mag ayos sa akin, nung chineck ko siya sa kabilang kwarto, she's in her beige off shoulder top at high waist pants partnered in her white sneakers. Naabutan ko na syang nagcu-curl ng tips ng hair nya. I said to her na if she's done already with the curler, hihiramin ko muna saglit. She agreed and I go directly to my room.

I decided to wear a white plain blouse inserted in a denim skirt. I paired it with my beige heels na hindi naman masyadong mataas.Mahirap nang madulas sa maling tao, ops.

Nag decide na rin ako na huwag mag heavy makeup, I'll reserve it for tomorrow's event. Bukas na nga pala yun. Ang bilis ng araw. I applied a medium amount of foundation, made my eyebrows not too "maldita" tignan and put some red lipstick, pero not too red, ayoko mag mukhang flirty. I made it simple, since magdedecorate lang naman kami. Nang matapos na akong mag retouch, I go directly on the other room to check if Claire is done with curling. Luckily, she's done also with her light makeup.

"Ako na magcucurl", Claire volunteered to to the curls.

I nodded to sign of agreement. Confident naman akong maganda ang results since then Claire is doing my curling sa hair kapag may mga events. Minsan, siya na rin ang nagmamake-up sa akin.

" Ayan, pretty na tignan. You look gorg na lalo sis". ,Claire said while looking at the mirror.

"Thanks sis, you're the best.", I happily replied to her.

Matapos naming mag-ayos, I already called the grab taxi na susundo sa amin. May 30 minutes pa naman so we think hindi naman kami mala-late.  After a minute, dumating na ang grab so we head over the venue. Mabilis kaming nakarating sa venue since it is only 20 minutes away from my condo.

"Casa Isabelle", I see the signage from afar. Bumaba kami sa grab and headed inside. The place was not that big, nor small. Great for events like debut, weddings, and many more. It is like a garden type of setup, with different function rooms. Ang gandang tignan.

" Sis, take a picture here." , pilit ni Claire sa akin.

I agree and we take turns in taking photos. Lalo na bukas. Feel ko my phone storage will be low tommorow, si Claire pa. She usually like to have photoshoots, lalo na magaganda ang view or place.

Claire check her phone to see if saang function room kami didiretso. While waiting, we see also Ava, Elise, Alaina together with Adrian, Dominic, Xavier and Caleb heading also on the reception area. They see us also kaya sumabay nalang kami sa kanila.

"Hello Gia, ganda natin ah!", Dominic complimented me.

" Thanks!" , I replied to Dominic.

"Gia, kung problema mo si Boss Kyle, hindi makakapunta yun.", biglang sabi ni Xavier.

" Yizzzz, out of town si Boss Kyle.", Caleb added.

"Bawi nalang daw sya sayo, este sa atin next time.", pabirong sabi ni Adrian sa akin and laughing looking to Claire. 'Tong magjowang ito, sarap pang umpugin sa pader.

" I see. Always naman yong busy sa work.", I said to all of them seriously.

"Oo nga, ever since naging engineer na si Kyle busy na sya ng sobra.", Alaina added.

" Ikaw ba naman ang naging topnotcher sa engineering boards plus the head of electrical engineers in the whole Philippines. Talagang busy ka.", Ava said.

"Napaka workaholic na man nun, pwede bang kahit saglit attend attend din ng ganitong event. tss.", naiinis na sabi ni Elise. Sige sayo na sya sis, hmmmpfff. Wait lang, bakit ako naiinis? stop Gia, staph.

" Hayaan nyo na, baka sumulpot naman yun bukas. Who know right, Gia?" , Claire said it looking to me.

"Malay ko sa..., sa tropa nyo kung aattend yun.", I replied in shock. Malay ko ba kung aattend yun, duh.

Good thing nang nagstart kaming mag decorate and prepare for all, still no shadows of Kyle came. Nasa middle part kami ng Casa Isabelle, function room #8 near a small gazeebo surrounded by a small garden full of flowers and green plants. Napakafresh ng hangin.

We have our lunch in their restaurant. Their foods are great. Ang sarap tignan, pati ng lasa. After naming maglunch, we resumed our tasks. Kaming mga girls, na-assign on making the designs on the backdrop pati na rin ng photobooth. The guys were assign sa pagbuhat ng chairs and tables and other hard tasks that only guys can do fast. May iba sa technicals, so on and so forth.

We've finished decorating and all exactly 8 in the evening. Sila Ava, Alaina, Elise sumabay na kina Dominic, Xavier at Caleb pauwi. Hinatid na ako nila Claire at Adrian pabalik ng condo. Umakyat saglit si Claire sa unit ko para kunin ang gamit nya since uuwi sya this night sa kanila since we agreed both na sa Casa Isabelle nalang kami magkikita. Hinatid ko na si Claire sa baba habang si Adrian nag aantay na rin doon. I waved goodbye to them and go again upstairs.

Since I'm too tired to cook, I just ordered my food online. Nag order ako ng value meal sa Jollibee. Luckily, hindi naman matagal nakapagdeliver kaya early akong nakatapos ng dinner ko. I took a shower, and have my skincare.  I drink a glass of warm milk before going to bed, and suddenly a message pop on my phone.

From Claire:

See you tomsy, sis. Paganda ka ha? labyu!

To Claire:

Of course, sleep well sis. Good night!

After that, natulog na ako. Bahala na si batman bukas. Kung darating sya, fine. I must deal with it. Kung hindi naman, much better. I hope everything will be fine bukas. Let's go, Gia. Kaya mo yan. Si Kyle lang yun. Si Gia ka.
