Kyle's POV

It was another Monday morning for me. I woke up early to make sure na magiging maaga ako ngayon sa office. I still have pending sites to check on kaya need kong maging early today.

I decided to have a quick breakfast, fried rice and bacon. After I've finished eating, I already prepared kung anong susuotin ko ngayon. Just a simple black long sleeve tucked in denim pants. Nagblack shoes na rin ako to make it suit to my clothes I am wearing right now.

I was an hour early in the office. I don't mind being late since I want to finish all the checking early so that I can spent the remaining time on myself.

Sa isang site sa Mandaluyong na kami naglunch. After that, we proceed to the site located sa Makati. Until afternoon, busy pa rin. After sa Makati, diretso sa board meeting agad with the clients. Busy pero kailangan. This is our job being Electrical Engineers. And being the head of the team, I must make sure thay my people are doing well.

After I've finished all my paper works, I checked my phone, it is already past 8 in the evening. I tried to text Gia if she's home already, kung hindi pa baka ihahatid ko na siya pauwi. Just in case ginabi na siya sa work niya.

Me:

Are you home already?

Medyo matagal pa bago nagreply. Maybe she's already in her condo unit.  Tulog na ata.

From Gia Kristine Salvador:

Nope. Nasa office pa ako, I'm on overtime with my papers.

Grabe napaka-hardworking niya talaga ever since. Anong oras na, nasa work pa rin. Hays, I think she's tired already. Maybe I should convince her to go home already.

Me:

Wait me outside of your office building.

I know Gia would be surprised. Pero nalaman ko kina Adrian kung nasaan na kompanya nagwowork si Gia, since na share ni Claire kay Adrian na si Gia lang ang nakapasok sa kanilang dream company, kung saan ang mga magagaling na mga accountant nagtatrabaho, I knew where it is. Kaya may idea na ako kung saan.

From Gia Kristine Salvador:

Wait, paano mo nalaman ang workplace ko? I never share it with anyone.

Me:

Secret. Just wait at the carpark area please.

After I've replied, I drive already to where Gia's office building is located. Medyo malapit lang sa office namin, pero sa kabilang zone pa. While on my way, I received a text from her.

From Gia Kristine Salvador:

Saan ka na? Nasa car park na ako.

Me:

Omw na. Just stay there.

From Gia Kristine Salvador:

Okay. Ingat ka.

After a few minutes, I am already at the car park. She went inside and fasten her seatbelt. Mukhang pagod at gutom siyang tignan. Ang daming trabaho atang tinapos ngayon nito. I asked her if nakapagdinner na siya or gutom.

"Gutom ka ba?", I asked her.

" Medyo. But I'm fine. Thanks", she replied.

I knew it, kapag tahimik siya, its either pagod or gutom. Ngayon, sumabay na ang dalawa kaya I don't mind teasing her or bothering her baka magalit. You know girls.

I decided to went first in a Jollibee drive thru to order some foods for her. I can see na nahihiya na naman siya but I don't mind it. Gutom siya at need niyang kumain dahil anong oras na, bawal malipasan ng gutom.

I gave him the food, just a value meal with fries and sundae.

"Kainin mo yan", I told her.

" T..thanks.", she replied.

Para makakain siya ng maayos, I stopped the car in a safe area. I let her finish her food bago kami umalis at magpatuloy sa pagdadrive ko. It seems gutom siya, mabilis niyang naubos ang food niya. After the rice and chicken, sundae and fries na naman. Naubos niya rin ang drinks niya.

"Kumain ka na ba?", she asked me.

"Yes kanina pa, may dinner meeting kami kanina", I  replied.

"Ah good for you. Sorry naabala pa kita", she  replied.

"Huwag kang magsorry Gia. Ayos lang.", I replied to her while smiling.

After I make sure na tapos na siyang kumain, I continued my driving. Hindi na masyadong traffic since pagabi na. We quickly arrived here sa condo unit niya. There was a slight silence but after that, Gia asked me a tough question bago siya bumaba.

"Nililigawan mo ba ako ulit?", she asked me directly while looking at my eyes.

I look in my her eyes and replied,

" What do you think? Kung ano sa tingin mo ang sagot, yun ang sagot ko."

"Hindi ako manghuhula okay.", she replied.

I  smile before saying my reply to her,

" Yes. Nililigawan nga kita. Can I court you again, Gia.?"

After what I have said, natulala siya at nagulat. I already anticipated that reaction. She composed herself before replying to be. She even gasped a huge amount of air before replying.

"Well, I guess I need time. Please understand, Kyle. Huwag muna nating madaliin?", she replied.

" Sure. No pressure, Gia. I'm willing to wait.", I replied with assurance.

"Thank you. Sige, akyat na'ko ha? Ingat ka.", she replied.

" You're welcome. Yes mag-iingat po. Goodnight, Gia.", I replied.

"Good night", she replied and waved goodbye to me.

I drive back now going to my condo unit. When I finally reached my unit, I sat beside my bed, looking at our picture, namin ni Gia of course. I was waiting for this time to come.

10 years. 10 years since we broke up. Yes we're so immature those times, but now I'm sure na siya na talaga. Wala nang iba. I know nahihirapan siya sa part niya, na natatakot siyang magrisk ulit. Pero I understand. Willing to wait naman ako, I won't pressure her. I will wait Gia, this time I won't promise. Gagawin ko nalang, natin together. I want you back, Gia.

So please trust me again, please my love. My Gia.
