MAX POV

After we left Magnus room I let out a long sign. This was the most terrible day in my whole life and it was only 6pm. My brother lost his mind, my other brother forgot who I am and almost died. Then there was the fact that Aden tried to kill himself and that this would be a hard way. "You're okay?" Aden asked and pulled me out of my thoughts. "You almsot jumped from a skyscraper and ask me if I'm okay?" I asked back and Aden sighed. Maybe it sounded a bit too harsh and I placed my hands on his hips. "I'm just exhausted and I know you are too. We will go home and then we will eat something." I said softly and placed a light kiss on Adens cheek when someone cleard their throat. "Uhmmm....I don't want to interrupt anything but should I cook something? Alec told me that Izzy can't cook and I would love to make it up." Riley said and I frowened. Did he really think this was his fault? To be honest it was everyones fault and he shouldn't blame himself. "Sounds great. Thanks." I answered and looked at Aden again. "Oh...and Riley, could we talk quickly?" I asked him and Riley looked confused but nodded. "Sure." He answered and I smiled at Aden weakly. "Aden has some wounds on his back...I thought you..." "I'll look at them and we will figure that out." Riley interruped me and I smiled thankfully at him. "Does he know?" Aden suddenly asked while we walked to the entrance  of the hospital and I looked confused at him. "He was there too...don't you remember?" I asked him and Aden shook his head. "On the roof I only saw you." He answered and I was a bit worried but the day was really terrible. He should eat and rest as much as possible but there were things that really bothered me. Where did he live if his parents were dead? What else did David do to him? How should I help him? "Max, don't break your head. I will be okay." Aden pulled me out of my thoughts. There was something about Aden. He could read people like an open but but he himself was really hard to read and that scared me a little. "What are you thinking about?" Aden asked me and I squeezed his hand. "You...us." I answered and Aden nodded. "You don't have to be with me out of pitty." Aden chuckled sadly and I stopped. Did he really think like that? "Aden, I'm not with you out of pitty. I'm with you because I love you and I'm scared that this isn't enough for you." I confessed and Aden smiled at me. "I love you too and you are more than enough for me. Don't you think anything else." Aden answered and placed a hand on my chest. "Your eyes are distracting." Aden whispered when he looked deep in my eyes. I didn't answer not because I didn't want to but I smiply was lost in his breathtaking eyes. "Let's go boys. We need to talk with your mom, Max." Riley said and he was already waving for a taxi. Shit my mom didn't know what happend. She liked Vici but turned out Vici is a bitch like no other girl. We just had to hope we would be okay and something said this was not the end...it wasn't even close to it. This would end with a big bang and right now I didn't know if the bang would be good  or bad.
I walked up the stairs back to my room and smiled to myself. Even Magnus lost his memory he was still the same and he knew what he had to do. I opened the door and Aden sat on my bed with his back leaned against the wall. He looked better and his bruises weren't as bad as when he was on the roof. "You just gonna stare at me?" Aden asked and pulled me out of my thoughts. "Maybe. The view is really beautiful from here." I answered with a smirk and Aden blushed like crazy. It was my favorit thing to make him blush and to make him smile. I was in love and it felt good. "I don't know." Aden suddenly sighed and I looked at him with a frown. "What do you mean?" I asked and walked closer to him. "I'm not beautiful." Aden said and looked down at the sheets. How could he ever think like that? "Who said that? Did David say that?" I asked him while I sat down on the edge of my bed and Aden nodded. "He said I'm too ugly to be loved." Aden sniffed a little and my heart ached when I saw him like that because I only want him to be happy. "Hey, David is a Idiot. You are more than beautiful and I love you more than anything else in the world." I said softly and placed a hand on Adens thight. "Really?" Aden asked and finally looked at me. His blue eyes were glassy and they seemed so hurt but I would fix that. I would make him happy and show him how much love he deserved. "Yeah." I answered and a light smile apeared on his lips. "I love you too, Maxi." He said and I smiled at him. I moved to him and sat on the top of him with one knee on each side. "You look so beautiful." I whispered before I pressed my lips on his soft perfect lips. I loved his lips and every other part about him even he didn't. He started to kiss back and placed his arms around my back to pull me a little closer. I smirked and my hands slid down from his cheeks to his neck. I pressed my tongue against his lips and he opened them lightly to let my tongue in. I carefully explored his mouth with my tongue and he moaned softly with closed eyes. The kiss wasn't lustful it was soft and passionatly. I tugged lightly on his hair and his hands slipped under my shirt. He rubbed my back and I felt my heart beat faster while his fingertips caressed my back. He left my lips and started to place soft kisses on my jawline. Aden moved with his lips to my neck and placed open mouth kisses there. I titled my head a bit back and ran my fingers through his curly hair while he started to suck the skin on my neck softly. I let out a moan and felt Aden grinning against my skin which made me shiver. "My Max." He whispered against my skin and by now I was sure he left a mark. He pulled back to look at me again and I smiled while I got lost in his eyes. "My Aden." I answered and cupped his face with my hands. I was about to kiss him again when a knock interrupted us. I groaned and got off from Aden who had red cheeks. "Come in." I yelled and my mom came in with a huge smile on her face. "Max Aden, you need to be ready in 10 minutes. We will go to the orphan house and get some stuff for  Aden. They said it would be okay for Aden to stay here till Magnus is okay again and can take Aden home with him." My mom said and Aden looked at me with eyes full of dissbelieve. "You mean...Magnus...he can adopt Aden?" I asked to make sure this wasn't a joke or wrong hope fo him. "I put a bit pressure on them. Aden has to say loud and clearly that he wants Magnus to be his legal guardian and then we only have to fill some paperwork." My mom answered and I looked at Aden who had glassy eyes. "You hear that. You will have a home." I smiled and Aden wrapped his arms around me while he let out a little sob. I rubbed Adens back and mouthed a thank you to her while she smiled at me. "No need to thank me...he belongs to the family now." My mom answered and Aden pulled back to look at my mom. He stood up and walked over to her then he hugged her tightly. My mom was a bit overwhelmed but then she hugged him back. "Thank you Misses. Lightwood." Aden said and pulled back from the hug. "Oh please call me Maryse." My mom said with a soft smile and she is 100% the best mom I could have. "Now get ready so we can get this over." She said and left the room. I stood up and pulled Aden in for a long deep kiss. "I'll protect you from this monster. He won't ever lay a hand on you again." I said with a warm look and Aden nodded with a weak smile. "Max, I just want to thank you for everything. You made so happy again and I say it again but you saved me. I was in such a dark place when I came here but when you smiled at me I forgot everything that ever happened. I love you." Aden said softly and my heart melted because of his words. "You never need to thank me for that. I'm more than happy to have you back." I answered and he blushed a little with the cutest smile I've ever seen. "Let's go and get your stuff." I added softly and Aden nodded still with pink cheeks...//tbc
