Chapter 11

I shall skip the apology which you all deserve. Cuz I'm getting tired of repeating myself.

Chapter 11

The meeting went south quickly. Artemis had told them of the attack on her Hunters. Thoughts and ideas were thrown around at random. Nothing getting done.

Finally a break was called. Artemis immediately went to forest near Camp Half-Blood. There she could be close to her campers as well as feel at peace. She took a deep breath.

"This sure is better than a stuffy meeting I bet?"

Artemis whirled around and arrow knocked. Though she froze before she released.

"Whoa, calm down there," he chuckled his golden eyes gleamed as he ran a hand through is pitch black hair.

Artemis's confusion melted into pure anger and hatred. You quickly released. The giant yelped and dodged. Artemis continues her volley as he darted away to miss.

"Whoa! Whoa!" He shouted holding his hands up to block his face. "Look I know I did a bad thing but that was thousands of years ago!"

Artemis's silver eyes narrowed. "And killing my Hunters last year? What was that? Girls you every knew. Phoebe? You two got a long. So you thought you would kill her!? What that wasn't bad!? It wasn't horrible!? It wasn't you being what you truly are!?" Artemis was screaming at this point and she was honestly surprised no campers had come to check on her.

He slowly lowered his hands and looked at her with confusion. "Kill them... When did I do that? I wouldn't kill them. I know how much the mean to you."

Artemis only glared harder. "Liar." She let arrows fly and soon others joined her own as her own remaining Hunters and campers joined the fray.

"You!" Thalia shouted her voice laced with venom. The air began to smell of ozone. Not much later lighting struck down. Nymphs shouted and yelled but they were ignored. Arrows died down to reveal nothing.

"He got away," Thalia growled.

Artemis shouldered her bow. "Don't worry. You and I will be the one to destroy him."

"Orion is back," Artemis spat throwing her bow on the floor in anger.

"He shouldn't have reformed yet," Apollo said confused.

"My niece defeated him," Ares says flickering to Mars, Athena nodded.

"These demigods shouldn't have come back from the dead either," Poseidon pointed out.

"So whoever is doing this can bring Giants back as well?" Demeter asks. "What if this person brings back Titans?"

Murmurs and agreements flew through the room before shouting emerged.

"Enough!" Zeus shouted. "Hades, what of the Fates?"

"As uncooperative as ever;" Hades replied with a groan. "They obviously know what's going on. They spend their time tying the strings they had cut back together."

"Perhaps we could ask again," Athena says. "We have no better plan at this point. Even if they don't respond I feel our next objective is to have Apollo reclaim Delphi."

Apollo blinked. "What?"

"It's your oracle isn't it? And we need some guidance."

"I suppose," Apollo said. "But I feel it would be more of a quest type thing."

"I thought we weren't sending the demigods?" Poseidon says. "The fact they come back to life and all?"

"It's better then than us." Dionysus responded.

"Send the children," Aphrodite says. "They have numbers. We are few."

"They are only children," Hestia said quietly more to herself. No one responded to her. After a moment Hera spoke.

"Who do we send?"

"You're not choosing after last time," Hephaestus said.

"My son obviously," Apollo started. "He can lead. I feel my oracle should go as well. She may not be a demigod but she is Delphi's host."

"Perseus can bring them across the sea," Poseidon continued.

Athena nods. "That's three but, since one is mortal I suggest we send another demigod."

"Perhaps Will should choose?" Apollo suggested.

Zeus nodded. "We vote. All in favor of a quest to Delphi with Apollo's son and oracle, Poseidon's son and one other raise your hand." Only Hestia's hand wasn't raised.  "It's decided. Apollo Gl tell the children."

Apollo quickly teleported off. Once he was gone there's was a bright flash of light. When it died down four confused women stood in the room.

"Gather round kiddies!" Apollo shouted. "Will where'd  you go?" Apollo called. Will headed to the front of the gathering crowd and stood next to his father confused.

Will gave a bow to his father- weird considering Apollo looked only a couple years older. "What is it father?"

"Yeah yeah," Apollo said staring through the crowd. "Uh... There you are! Percy up here now! Rachel you too!"

The other two who had been talking made their way to the front.

"What is it Lord Apollo?" Percy asked.

"Drop the Lord stuff," Apollo replied.

"So Fred then?" Percy asked with a slight smile.

Apollo rolled his eyes. "Look there's a quest to Delphi. I need my prophecy mojo back. Will you're leading. Rachel your the oracle so duh, you go. Percy it's a cross the ocean. And since Rach isn't a demigod Will you can choose one other."

"Was there a prophecy?" Annabeth asked confused.

"Uhh...umm..." Apollo scratched his head.

"Four must cross the sea
To reclaim the awesome god's thing
Our fate lies on three"

"Aren't there four of us going?" Percy asked.

"Shut up, it rhymed. Now Will pick a person and get ready you leave when I drive by tomorrow."

Will blinked. "Um..."

"I'll go," Nico offered. "I can-"

"Nope. Doctors orders."

"But-"

"Nope. Anyway I pick..."
