“Today we'll go back to Linphea,” Helia announced to his wife as they both strolled down the hallway, somewhere inside the castle, to locate Aisha and Nabu. “In such a crucial time, Linphea would need help from its guardian fairy.”

Flora nodded, mending her shirt. “Yeah, that's right. I have to create a barrier, somehow, to protect the whole planet. Hopefully, some other major fairies could give me a hand.”

“By the way, when you fainted last night, the other planets still tried to close those portals but it kept sending weird vibes.” Helia brought up, gazing at the brunette to make sure she was following along and wasn't misplaced in thoughts. “Then suddenly, boom, they disappeared.”

“Was that all that happened or am I missing more?” She sighed, trying to make space in her mind to receive any more information. Right now she was envying of Tecna's talent to remember many things without struggling.

He sighed, rolling up his sleeves. “Sadly, not. The Trix struck, again.”

Flora grabbed his arm, stopping from walking any further, bringing him to turn around. “They what? Where and who's hurt?”

“No one's hurt, thankfully. They wanted to deliver a message, I'm still unaware about but Nabu will fill us in soon about it.”

“A message?”

“Yeah, everyone's going crazy and I'm pretty sure that even the farthest realms are now all aware they're not in prison anymore.”

“Is that the reason why the Royal Council couldn't wait and urged every royal yesterday to attend a meeting except for us Winx members despite our circumstances?” Flora questioned, which took Helia in surprise. “There are a lot of gossiping workers around here.” She turned around, eyeing a maid who was giving the brunette a dirty look before running away.

“I mean, yeah, they did, but that was because you were all unconscious and you couldn't attend. I did my best to defend you.” He tried to convince his wife but it wasn't it.

“Mmh.” Flora walked away and entered the nearest room which was the ballroom where Aisha and Nabu were talking to a few guards.

The water fairy noticed her friends enter following by a confused Helia and she instantly went to meet her.

“Flora!” Aisha tried to keep up with her long gown. “People are about to protest and try to break in into the castle.”

“Wait, what? Why?”

“They're complaining we knew about the Trix escaping situation but didn't act or do anything, which pisses me off because they don't know about our sacrifices to plan how to handle them. Ugh, the flaws of being a queen.” She grabbed her friend by her arm and dragged her away from Helia so they could talk just the two of them. “You know about last night?”

Flora pushed her hair behind her ear, crossing her arms as she shrugged her shoulders. “What do you mean? I barely remember. I'm clueless, I don't know what's going anymore.”

“Same. For the moment, I'll wait for Nabu to do his speech so we'll be fine after then...” Aisha turned around to look at their surroundings before she continues. “Tonight. Will she find us?”

“I feel like if anything happens tonight, we should at least try and distance ourselves from the people we love to not put them in danger. Whatever happens, it's okay. We always find a way, right?” Flora held her friend's hands to console although she wasn't sure herself.

“Did anybody tell you yet? About the Trix. At this point, I believe they're certainly Valiana's accomplices. Because think about it, every time something happened about this Valiana chick, the Trix appear. Who else could've assisted them to flee from their life imprisonment other than Her Excellence herself?”

The nature fairy tilted her head, giving it some thought. “Is that your theory or... because you always been bad at theories and I always listened to Tecna instead.”

Aisha sighed, ceding. “Please, I hated doing hypothesis essays in magical history in Alfea.”

“Anyways, I think the same thing as you. So, what should we do? I need to go back to Linphea too soon because Krystal might call me or something.”

“Yeah, it's alright. It's better if you'll go home soon and when you do... remember.” Aisha assured as she watched the brunette nod. “Have you seen your daughter?”

“Mmh. Energetic as she always been. What about your kids? Are they okay?”

“Zale gave me a whole heart attack but, instead, all he asked was if he could have biscuits with jam. Just like his father. Aqua is still sleeping.” Aisha told her as she tried to maintain herself with the gown she was wearing. “This is frustrating me. Why does it always get under my damn feet.”

Flora giggled, rubbing her arm. “I thought you were used to it.”

“Yeah, something like that. I'll get an aircraft to take you and Helia back to Linphea. If all goes well, Valiana was joking and she'll never end up visiting us tonight. Don't put your guard down, Flora.”

“Oh c'mon, I'll do my best. I'm a guardian fairy. Nobody gets through me without having a taste of my powers.” The brunette made appear a couple of green magic balls and Aisha gave her a thumbs up. “Anyways, thanks. Hopefully, we'll try and overcome this. Right?”

“Right.” Aisha smiled as they embraced.

“Oh, I had enough. Today is the day everything will go down. Valiana's terms? - I don't care. Oh-oh, I surely don't. The moment I see, just one of them, I'll crash them down.” Icy laughed like a maniac to Darcy's and Stormy's perspective.

Darcy blew on her new coloured nails. “I didn't see much of Valiana lately. What has she been doing?”

Icy put her hands on her hips, glaring at her witch sister, Darcy. “Who cares?”

“What do you think she threatened the Winx for? She said she wanted her jewel back but what does she truly mean by that?” Stormy raised the idea that rarely crossed on the Trix's minds but now they were in deep thought about it.

“Must be something so powerful if she'll stop at nothing.” Darcy also evaluated the assumption, having a preference for the intention already.

“I never heard of a stupid ‘jewel’ being the most powerful object of the whole Magic Universe.” The ice witch crashed their dreams of trying to hold the mysterious jewel instead of Valiana. “As childish as her plans are, must be some kind of toy or whatever.”

“Maybe we never heard about it because it is too powerful that could end up being way too dangerous.” Darcy insisted and Stormy nodded.

“What if, she's just using us?” Stormy eyed both of her sisters. “Right now, we're in the middle of nowhere and she's keeping us as if we're puppies. Girls! We're three and she's one. If we ever end up in a bad situation for us, it's a chance to leave her behind for good.”

Icy nodded, wholly consensus on the plan as well as Darcy.

{As the Trix maintained strengthening plotting on their own, as they thought they were -- Valiana was in the crystal ball room, watching and hearing the entire conversation between the three witches and was throwing small arrows at her ceiling.

“My plans? Childish? Have they heard themselves? Ah, that's funny.” She threw another arrow, smirking. “I wonder how their plans always failed against these Winx.”}

“We still don't know what her freaking power! We have to find her weakness-- no way she doesn't have one.” Icy told her sisters as they commenced thinking and recalling any possible moments that could be helpful in their favor.

{Valiana snapped her fingers and three bells necklace appeared in front of the three witches}

“Uh? And where did this come from?” Stormy questioned, in disdain.

The green-haired witch checked closer onto the necklaces. “Who else other than ‘Her Mighty’.” Darcy made quotation marks with her fingers in a sarcastic tone.

Then, a speaker materialized, emerging on the corner above their heads. “Hello, girls! Power up because today the Winx will have a hard time going against you tonight!” Valiana voice came out from them, which took the Trix by surprise.

“Ugh, why is it so loud? Your voice is annoying as it is.” Icy closed her ears, refusing to hear anything any longer from her voice especially.

Stormy pointed at the floating necklaces. “What are those bells for? Are we supposed to ring them for someone's wedding?”

Valiana grinned from the other room, as she stared deep into the crystal ball. “Hm, you tried to be funny, but not quite. The Winx are awfully powerful and maybe even more than you even if you amplified your powers. So, I thought, why not trap their powers away?--

This instantly grabbed Icy's attention. “--And, what do you mean by that? They'll fight without their powers?”

You have two tries each you're supposed to use on two fairies each. The only condition is to attempt to tap the bell only when you're close enough to them. If too far away, then that's your problem.” Valiana appointed further details of the strategy.

“Can we decide which two fairies we'll go after?” Darcy proposed as she grabbed one of the necklaces and put it around her neck, liking its purpose.

I don't care about that. Just bring them here! Don't mess this up even when I bothered to aid this much.” After, the speaker vanished.

Darcy didn't hesitate. “Alright, I'm clearly not going after Aisha. She still can fight without her powers.”

“Yeah, but the dumb fairy now is a mother so she'll probably be weakened physically.” Icy built her point but Stormy wasn't so sure but didn't make an effort to argue with her.

“Since you don't see a problem with that, you can take on Aisha,” Stormy suggested and Darcy nodded, relieved. “Objections?”

“Heck, yeah--”

“Good. No objections.” Stormy interrupted her sister and winked at Darcy. “I'll take Musa. Oh, how much I that b--”

Although someone was not having it and stepped up. “No, I want to teach Musa a lesson!” Darcy challenged Stormy and crossed her arms.

“Why? Is it because you liked Riven and she has him?”

“I don't need to tell you my reasons!”

“Oh, really?!”

“Yes, really!”

“I--”

“Shut up, you two idiots,” Icy yelled, halting their useless bickering. “You guys can argue all you want as long as you guys know; I'm taking Bloom,--”

“--Bloom.”

“--Bloom.”

All three of them glared at each other, already hating each other's guts. The Trix surely dispised the Winx but it all began with Bloom. And Bloom was the beginning of their downfall, so that night was their chance to individually take the fire fairy down with their hands.

“Ah-ah, this is not what we're going to do.” The ice witch lifted her foot and aggressively hit the wooden floor, creating ice blocks around the other two witches. “I'm Bloom's biggest enemy! So get that idea off your head and focus on someone else. I'll go after Bloom then Aisha and you'll do the rest. Okay? Okay.”

Stormy brought a couple of lighting inside the room to hit the iceblock surrounding her, causing it to instantly melt and was free again. Through an illusion, Darcy was also able to escape from the iceblock as both sisters were frantic towards Icy.

{From the other side, Valiana shook her head in amazement but not surprised as she headed out of the crystal ball room, yawning. “I give up on them. Fighting over some fairy? Bah.”}

~~~
That same night...
“See, a false alarm. It was a joke, nobody will come to us, so I think we can relax.” Aisha said, on a hologram-call with Flora, who was walking back and forth in her hallway.
The brunette stopped, sighing as she looked out of the window. “Yeah, you can be right. Right?”
“Absolutely, not.” The water fairy admitted. “I'm not taking the blame if something actually happens...”
“Of course you won't.” The nature fairy playfully rolled her eyes when the nearest door next to hew swung open, revealing her husband. “Helia--”
“Go to sleep already, Flo,” Helia begged his wife as he rubbed his eyes and tried to take her phone away from her. “It's late! You'll wake up Lilian any time soon.” He shook her arm in a grumpy voice.
“Alright, alright!” Flora giggled and softly pushed his hand away.
Aisha nodded, scratching her head. “Hm, this is my cue to go check on the kids and leave you arguing about sleep, bye.” Her hologram ceased and Flora shut down her phone.
“Are you that tired?”
“Flo, yes. You and Lia got me worried and didn't get as much sleep last night.”
“Ah, true. Then go to sleep, I need to get some air.”
“Don't walk too far away.” Helia jeopardised as he opened the door of their bedroom to finally rest while he waited for his wife.
“Yeah, yeah. I know.” Flora waved with her back on him as she walked away.
The Specialist was putting some clothes away that were on his matrimonial bed and suddenly an urge came over him to stop Flora from leaving at any cost. That urge was a familiar voice.
No, Helia! Don't let her go!
He, promptly, scampers to his cupboard and searched for his glove and struggled at first he had to throw some of his socks out of the cupboard in order to get his glove earlier. Once he caught his hands on it, he fled outside his house with all he's got but once he shoved the door open, there was no sign of Flora rather than something twinkling on the floor by the Moon's light.
“Flora? Flora!” He shouted and jogged to the object on the floor. It was Flora's bracelet Helia gave to her back in Gardenia. He tightens his grip as he stared around him, in hope that maybe his wife casually dropped it and didn't realize.
But the more he ran, he doubts it she left her bracelet behind like that. Helia was on his way back to his, considering Lilian was still there, sound asleep. The dark-haired man noticed a black burned spot on the ground as if thunder just happened there.
Helia stretched his finger out and touched the burnt grass. He sought as his worst nightmare must've happened.
-
“Wakey, wakey, fairy.” An unfamiliar figure occured in front of the helpless brunette. “Congrats, you're the first one to wake up!” The odd person applauded but Flora was still in the process of wakening and comprehend what was going on.
It was cold and dull.
“Where am I?” The nature fairy stirred up although noticed her hands and legs were all tied in chains against the wall, so she hardly move, additional to her intense headache.
Her mind was utterly chaotic; the last thing she remembered was walking in her house front porch, rethinking what Nabu told her and Helia before they left Andros for Linphea. It was a six-worded message: “Blood. Scare. Monsters. Freaks. Terror. Anguish.” But before she understood what it meant, a flash of lightning struck down on the ground, then the rest that occurred was chronology she couldn't bring herself to recall yet.
“Please, don't do it. Don't hurt me!” The threatened fairy broke down as her vision was quite blurred and thought the person was holding something dangerous.
Flora started imploring if anybody was out there, to save her. If the Gods were a true myth, she kept begging and begging to listen to her prayers and intervene somehow. She never felt more vulnerable than she felt now.
The woman walked closer to her, taking a strand of the fairy's hair behind her ear. “How could a lowly fairy like you, raise an Elementalist? You ruined my plan and the Prophecy, sweetie.” Valiana grinned, glowing her eyes as Flora gulped, in fear for her life. “That is so low of you.”
“W-What are you going to do?!” Flora kept her back glued onto the cold brick wall to be as far away to Valiana as possible.
“You tell me, what should I do?... Oh, didn't I remind you dumb fairies of my request-- no, actually, an order.” Valiana sarcastically responded with a smirk before grabbing the fairy by her shirt's collar, her mood completely changed. “I want what's mine.”
Flora rubbed her cheek onto her shoulder because she felt Valiana's spit. “Who are you for me to listen to you?”
“You little-- Watch your mouth with who you're talking to! You're inferior.”
“You don't have to go through such drastic ways, Valiana!” Flora pleaded, hoping if she kept speaking wisely, it could have a change of heart for the dark purple-haired.
Valiana frowned as she gripped tighter to her collar, yelling, “You know my name but do you exactly know who I am? I'm the original ruler of the Moon and Empress of the Underworld, Her Excellence! Do not call me Valiana, respect yourself with who is standing above you.”
“...Yeah, right. What do you want?”
“I require what I need--”
“The least you need is love. I can spot a miserable person from a mile away. Trust me, you can communicate with me. I'll listen.” She encouraged with a very, sweet smile but her lips shivered.
Valiana's eyes calmed down for a second and her heart warmed until she went ahead and hurried to strangle the fairy with all the resilience she had.
“I don't need that foolishness you call love! I never needed it! All I need is power! Screw with those Gods who only favoured one person only and that person wasn't me!” Valiana's eyes turned pitch black as Flora suffocated, struggling for air.
“P-- Pl-- Please! I-- I'm sor-- sorry.” The nature fairy cried even more as she thought those were her last moments of life and even if she fought back, would she be able to push someone who fully failed management over their sanity? Probably not.
Although, the wind seemed to be in favour and crawled into Flora's ears, whispering to not give up and follow the light. Her emerald eyes almost had no sign of life before she finally saw the gleam beam through the bars.
Valiana found herself not strangling the fairy anymore but someone else she cared deeply for and removed her hand immediately. “Alena?!”
Icy walked past the cell and saw Valiana kneeling next to the nature fairy and was concerned about what was going on so opened the cell and joined in.
“What are you doing?” The ice witch disputed, gazing at Flora coughing drops of blood out of her mouth as Valiana stood still but then shrugged it off. “Woah, Flora. What did you do to piss her off? Usually, that would be my job.” Icy commented, laughing at the fairy's fragile condition.
The purple-haired woman raised her eyebrow. “Icy. Guard the two fairies down the hall. I'm not going to be patient any longer. It's not like they'll survive for long anyway.” She stared back at Flora, who's tearing never stopped to fall.
Icy huffed. “What's the point of guarding them? They can't do anything! The poison can do the rest.” She crossed her arms.
“Oh please. As if that would hold them back. Their stupid boyfriends will soon come to save them or whatever and that would be the perfect moment to extract their kids at an exposed and defenceless time.” Valiana pats Icy's shoulder but she slapped it off, disgusted.
Flora panted as she stood up but the chains held her back. “I swear... Valiana... if you dare to lay a finger to the kids... over my dead body...”
“Argh, these fairies sure are annoying, especially her.” Icy scoffed.
“Mmmh, mmh. Continue.” Valiana grinned, genuinely not feeling terrorized but amused.
“I'll come onto you, with all I have! You are not allowed to be next to them whatsoever, Icy.” Flora screamed, trying to get closer to them but the chains restrained, halting her and she was getting exhausted to sit back and watch.
The witch ridiculed as she mocked the fairy. “Oh no! I'm scared of the little fairy of flowers-- listen. It doesn't work like this.”
Flora teased, tilting her head to get her hair out of her face as she smiled at the witch, mockingly. “Icy, I beat you more than twice myself and I'll do it again.”
“You--” Icy didn't hesitate to slap the fairy right on her face, leaving a red mark which stung.
“You have a daughter, right? Ah yes, you do, that's why you acting up a little. Pains me to know that a little girl like her won't live for long very much soon.” Valiana admitted as Icy grinned but Flora's eyes widened, out of rage, she started pulling the chains.
“You are not going to touch my child! Heck, no!” Flora kept going as Icy started leaving as well as Valiana.
“Bye, girly.” Valiana waved her fingers as she locked the cell and activated a barrier for nobody to be able to breakthrough. “This is your punishment.”
“Let me free! Let me be free!” The nature fairy cried out, but it was useless. She was alone and no one could hear her.
“It's useless. It's either your daughter or the other kids.” Valiana smirked outside her cell. “I'll decide on the sacrifice, no one else does. Just, shh.” She brought her index finger to her cherry lips then eventually roamed away as her steps shrank gradually.
“Come back! Damn you, Valiana!” The nature fairy felt her blood boil as she slides down the wall, sitting on the frigid floor. “Helia, I'm sorry. Protect her for me.”
