chapter six

A few days ago...

“Did you find a way to destroy it, yet?” The witch, known for her powers of all forms of darkness, including illusions, Darcy, asked very annoyed and tired of the other two witches, as she sat on the floor, opposite to where the other two witches were.

“Not yet, you didn't even help.” The witch, known for her lighting and storm powers, Stormy, retorted back to Darcy, who just yawned.

“Well? Does it have any weaknesses?” Darcy questioned again, making the witches more annoyed at her for asking and sitting there instead of helping find a way out of their cell.

“What do you think?!” Stormy yelled back, and Darcy just rolled her eyes.

After being defeated by the Winx, they have been isolated, incredibly far away from the Magic Dimension, in a place where few of the worst of the absolute worst villains were sent to and the Trix were one of those. They're locked up in a room with no door nor a window, just four black walls, resistant to damage or any magic, not even the most powerful spell can damage them a little, a safe place.

“We'll never get out of here at this rate! We didn't scratch it a bit! Ugh.” The witch, known for her cold heart and ice powers, Icy, complained as she furiously punched the wall next to her, but didn't do any harm to it, although her knuckles hurt, she won't show it.

“I think it's useless. We did every spell we know, and we're still stuck down here!” Darcy stated, while tilting her head back, and looked at the ceiling, as there was nothing else to do. Stormy sighed, and sat next to her, but not too close.

“We're going to grow old here, thanks to those fairies!” Stormy exclaimed, hating the fact of being stuck there for the rest of her life.

“Is that what you're really worried about right now? By the way, what do you think they're up to? The Winx.” Darcy wondered as she started playing with her hair and Stormy raised an eyebrow at her. “I bet they're still trying to play the heroes, pfft!”

“Time has passed. We don't even know what's going on out there. When I tell you I really hate those little fairies, I do, ugh!” Stormy put her knees up, and let her head fall on top of her knees. “I just won't believe they really beat us! It should've been vice versa.”

“It's been five years,” Icy mumbled to herself, while the other two witches were starting to feel distant, in Icy's mind, as they were chatting about random things. “Five. Years. If I will ever get out of here, trust me, Bloom, you'll be the first one I'll hunt down, then the rest of the Winx. One by one, I promise.” Furiously, Icy lifted her fists, where a magic ball started to show and grow bigger and bigger.

“Look, she's losing it,” Darcy said, pointing at Icy to Stormy, who nodded, as they both had to witness again since it often happens when Icy just loses control because of the Winx. The ice witch started stepping back, getting herself ready to hit the wall.

Icy closed her eyes for a second and took a deep breath, before she ferociously released the dark magic ball off her hands and struck straight to the wall in front of her, where, after being hit, there wasn't a sign of any destruction. This made the ice witch even more furious as she kicked the wall.

“We're stuck down here forever!” Darcy commented, annoyed. “All blame on those fairies!”

The hatred towards the Winx from the Trix never faded away, actually it even gotten stronger, since five years ago. Every day that passes, locked in that cell, it's a day lost for the Trix, yet, the Winx gained a new day in freedom.

“I'm so tired of them! Take this!” Darcy and Icy watched, as Stormy summoned a giant black cloud, full of lightning, and she directed those lightings to continuously hit the wall, and lots of smoke appeared after.

The witches were coughing, because of the smoke. Icy turned around, to the spot where Stormy tried to hit the wall. She closed her eyes a bit, trying to focus to see something.

“This smoke...” Icy started suspecting something because she knew the smoke was unnatural. “Darcy! Stormy! Look!” She pointed in between the fog.

A figure with a cloak seemed to get closer to them, as its steps got louder. The Trix all took a step back, ready with their magic spells, to confront whoever just got in. The fog started to disappear, leaving the figure just standing in front of them.

“Who are you?!” Icy spoke up first, totally clueless to who she was talking to. Though, the figure just stood there.

“We're talking to you!” Stormy threw a spell at the figure, who at the last second, surprisingly dodged it without breaking a sweat. - “What?!” - Stormy exclaimed, clueless of how that person been able to avoid one of her strongest spells, that rarely misses its target.

“Who is that?” Darcy wondered as she noticed the person had some kind of red cat eyes and Darcy attempted to recognize the person in front of them but didn't succeed too.

“I heard so much about the famous troublemakers Trix.” The person sarcastically spoke, who appeared to be a woman. “Icy, Darcy and Stormy.” She looked at each witch as she said their names.

“And you are? What do you want from us?” Icy asked - but more like yelling. She had become to dislike everyone outside their cell, and she despised them all. Hence, the witch started to throw ice cubes at the woman, who didn't move an inch as Icy miserably missed every hit.

“Oh, Icy. Poor you.” The woman smirked as she made a step forward. At one point, the Trix finally saw the woman's long dark purple hair, her fiery red eyes and her cherry lips. She had fair skin and a curvy body, that made the Trix instantly so jealous of her. “Your useless spells don't work on me.”

“Y-you--” Icy started, and the woman's smirk immediately changed. She was already wasting time, and with the Trix keeping on talking over her or attacking her, it wasn't helping. Suddenly her red eyes started to glow and the Trix couldn't move anymore.

“What the--”

“Woah, chill! What's gotten onto you?” The woman joked as she walked over to them. “Oops! Where are my manners these days? Ahaha! My name's Valiana,” The woman, Valiana, lifted her hand for the Trix to shake, but they couldn't move because Valiana froze them. “Oh yeah, sorry not sorry, but you guys seem so aggressive! Relax, you should be grateful that an amazing person, which is me, obviously, will take you out from this boring place. You can thank me, you know!”

“What?!” Darcy and Stormy simultaneously said, still couldn't be able to move.

“And... why would you that again?” Icy questioned, pissed off of how much powerful Valiana was, to easily stop and freeze her without using something familiar to ice spells like Icy does. She was also very curious about her power ability.

“Because you'll be working for me, duh. You'll thank me later girl.” Valiana gave a sarcastic smile, while the Trix frowned and raised their eyebrows at her. Some noises started to get closer to the room they were in and Valiana been able to hear them, with her hearing ability.

“As if--” Stormy started, but got cut off by Valiana, who created a portal, and it sucked the Trix in, while she just flipped her hair and jumped in too.

~~~
The Trix were holding their heads, feeling sick because of the journey in the portal that Darcy even fell on her knees. After them, Valiana finally came out from the portal and made it disappear. They were located in a place not too big, yet, not too small. It was all dark, even the furniture was all dark colours.
“Where are we?” Icy asked directly to Valiana, while she put her hand on her hip. The mysterious woman, rolled her eyes as she walked off, signalling the Trix to follow her. The trio looked at each other before following Valiana.
They ended up in a room where there was a table, with four chairs and a purple crystal ball placed on the centre.
“Make yourselves comfortable, we've got a lot to talk about,” Valiana smirked, as she first sat on the table, followed by Stormy, then Darcy, who was tired anyway. Icy hesitated but didn't want to be the only one standing so she took a chair too and sat. “Good grief, what's with all the moody faces? I thought by breaking y'all free, you'll be finally happy and have your freedom back.”
“Listen here, kid.” Icy slammed her hand on the table, but only made Darcy and Stormy jump, while Valiana didn't flinch, she just instead, put her elbows on the table and rested her chin on her hands, ready to listen to Icy. “I don't know who do you think you are to think that we'll be working for your stupid self! We don't do that stuff, we're the Trix! We play solo.”
“Oh really? Yet, your solo game got you spending five depressing years in that cell, because of the Winx.” The Trix gasped, as they hated hearing someone else, talking about their downfall against those fairies, the first thing out of the cell. “And do not call me kid. I'm way older than you. If I were you, I'll listen to what I say.”
“Can you tell us what you want to say?! I'm getting tired and uncomfortable of being here.” Stormy retorted, crossing her arms. Valiana shifted her eyes from Icy to Stormy, who she didn't hear much, considering she previously attacked her and she smirked.
Don't you want to get revenge?” The moment Valiana released those words from her mouth, the Trix instantly glared at her, giving her full attention.
“Go on.”
“Hmm, now you're interested in what I'm saying, uh?” Valiana teased the three witches, but kept getting glares from them she got tired to play nice and rolled her eyes. “Anyway, since I got you out, you guys owe me a big one. Also, your powers must be weakened, from these last couple of years of your continuous attempts on breaking the wall, which you completely failed, but I have a remedy.”
Valiana made appear a hologram map, showing the Omega Dimension. The Trix shivered up for a second, remembering the last time they were there. For Darcy and Stormy, that place was very cold, but for Icy it was nothing.
Icy was about to say something before Valiana's eyes glowed and suddenly Icy couldn't talk anymore.
“Please don't interrupt. Questions are for later, Icy.” Icy sent a death glare at Valiana, but she didn't mind it as she kept going on. “Okay so, you already know about this place. The Omega Dimension. Here is where you could get your power rehabilitated. How? I'll answer right now. There are these couple of prisoners there, who have similar power to each of you, but they're way more powerful than you. So, I have an idea!” Valiana explained, waiting for some reactions from the Trix, but didn't get any. “If you help me find a way to break in. I have the ability to steal their powers and I can gift them for you. What you say?”
Icy, Darcy and Stormy all exchange looks, questioning themselves if they should just help her along, or why are they even wasting time there and should just take the woman down and run away.
“Okay.” Darcy and Stormy accepted the offer. Icy couldn't talk because Valiana still was exploiting her powers to manipulate Icy to not let her be able to speak, as she was exhausted from hearing the same story about the Trix not working for her and all.
“What about you, Icy?” Yet, Valiana teased again the ice witch. “Nice to know you accept the offer! We'll go in three days, I have to train you first and I have other things to... take care of. Now, go!” She used her powers to make the Trix disappear into another room, as it was protected with her magic so they wouldn't escape and she remained by herself, thinking.
A smirk did not hesitate to come to view.
“Winx, uh? I'll love to meet them one day. To eliminate them.” Valiana commenced laughing loudly with herself. “If everything will go by plan, I will win and everyone else will go down.”
