An Old Friend...
We walked into our old living room, greeted by two old and wrinkled faces. They were our uncles, Stan and Ford. They'd been in the artic ocean, fighting off sea monsters and had finally come home for the summer.
"Ford!" Dipper exclaimed.
"Hey Dipper!" Ford smiled. "How's mum (I say mum cuz I'm Aussie, not American :P) and dad?"
"They're good!" I smiled.
"I see you're still wearing that sweater Mabel." Ford noticed.
"Yeah, I asked mum and dad to make it so it fits my current size." I beamed.
"Speaking of which, I need to find Wendy. She still has my hat and I have hers." Dipper said.
"Yeah, Soos says he hasn't seen Wendy in a while." Stan told him. "Sorry Dip, but she's on vacation."
"Oh," Dipper's voice faltered. "B-but I miss her. I've been waiting 3 years to see her again!"
"Sorry Dipper!" Ford frowned, I could tell he didn't like to see Dipper upset.
"Dipper, you could video chat! I'm sure she'd be delighted to be called by you!" I tried cheering him up.
"I guess." Dipper frowned.
Then I heard a very familiar voice. I heard it over all the chatter Dipper, Ford and Stan made.
"Sorry I'm late, Celestia wanted to be ridden." They called.
"It's okay dude!" Soos replied. They must of been at the souveniour part of the Mystery Shack. "Melody's sick, can you fill in for her, Pacifica?" PACIFICA?!?? WHAT THE HELL IS SHE DOING HERE?!?
"Whatever, as long as I get paid twice as much for cashier. Being a stocker sucks." Pacifica said with sassiness in her voice.
"One pay raise coming up!" Then Soos marched off.
I walked into the souveniour part and saw Pacifica only she was different... She wore a shirt like Soos used to wear with a green question mark in the middle. Her blonde hair sat on her head perfectly. "Hey, Mabel." Pacifica waved.
"Hey Pacifica. You still have that llama sweater I gave you?" I asked.
"Duh, it's like a destiny sweater to remind me how I saved the world." Pacifica slapped her blonde hair out of her eyes.
"But you didn't..."
"Mabel, I also have changed. Mum and Dad are being idiots, so I decided to work for them. They refused to work as a 'cashier' or a 'journalist'. So I work here. I also started a charity for the homeless. Let's just say I get half of the money." Pacifica explained.
"I would never think you would host a charity for poor people." I blurted. Probably wasn't the smartest way to go.
"Me neither, Fiddleford is helping too as he once lived in a junkyard." Pacifica said, surprisingly not insulting me.
"You call him Fiddleford?" I asked.
"Yeah, everyone does now. Thankfully he gained his sanity back. I enjoy visiting him and do it often. Maybe it's because he lives in my mansion now with my 9 other ponies. Celestia was allowed to come back to our home. Dunno why Penelope, Rosalie, Clarissa, Petunia, Violet, Tessa, Pacifica Jr., Sparkles and Princess couldn't come. PRINCESS WAS BEAUTIFUL AND NOW SHE'S SWARMED BY STUPID FLIES!"
"What do you expect from Fiddleford? To groom them everyday?"
"Yeah, I told him too."
"Well, he probably forgot?"
"I text him every 3 hours."
"Okay, that's just weird."
"Well, at least he should remember." Pacifica shrugged. "Hope this summer treats you well."
"You too." I beamed, then headed into the attic to unpack.
