Think about this... [possible feels warning]

Years later (as in hundreds of years later, long after her father's passing and the end of the Rocket-Plasma war that rocked the world), a young Trainer happens upon this rickety old building, though made of stone and steel. It's rusted, worn and weathered with many a broken window. He walks up to a giant pair of rusty doors, doors that are locked quite well...or so they appear. Upon a single touch, the door falls away, opening slowly.

The sounds of mournful, sad singing echo through the abandoned facility's halls. A woman's singing. A woman with the voice of an angel.

He presses on despite his fear, worried about her...whoever she might be. Following the sound of her voice, he finds a large room. There, lying pitifully on the floor, chained and bound in gruesome and inhumane manners, is a beauty of a Pokémon. A monster with eyes of the purest sapphire and beautiful speckles of turquoise and magenta dappling her pure white feathers and fur. She looks at him, hope glimmering in her sorrowful eyes.

Something tells him that she needs him.

He spends weeks upon weeks in that old building, trying to free the beast from her shackles. She sings to him softly all the while, her voice tender and kind like that of a mother...reminding the boy of his own. This presses him to work harder, the thought of his mother in such a situation being heartbreaking to himself, and within a month, he has released her from all the chains that had bound her to that spot for who knows how long.

Once free, the monster looks down at him, her blue eyes bright, kind, loving and sweet. She nudges his pocket, gesturing to a Poké Ball on his belt.

It's soon clear to the young man that she wants to travel with him, to leave this terrible place with such a wonderful person and begin anew. But he shakes his head, and whispers softly in her ear...

...and she flew away after he left, vanishing into a space between dreams and reality.
