okay i think i have this down to a science tho. even tho i use bases. cause um...i started something yesterday and in one session, i was almost halfway done.

But it's like...I put effort into ensuring that what I've done with the base still looks good.

And I use bases because let's face it:

It's REALLY HARD to sculpt a face without a pen-like input of any kind. And a body.

But case in point, I work when I use bases. I mean...I know it's a luxury because I lack a pen tablet, but I still end up searching long and hard for reference images. //even tho they're mainly just for coloring but who really cares?// I also still end up sitting there, toiling over someone's hair, eyes, etc. (actually me yesterday...those eyes were a doozy...)

I mean...the art never seems to exceed the KB range (because coloring is weird) but file size doesn't equal the amount of effort put in.

One of these days, I'm gonna post a lot of this art on here. (maybe kinda soon if i can find the right bases???)
