The dragon riders, their dragons, and Dreamsong flew to Berk as fast as they could. But the Skrill was already there, and was currently facing the team of dragon riders called " The Auxiliary team ", who were made of Gustav, Silent Sven, Spitelout, Mulch, Bucket, and Gothi.

Astrid: Hey, look at that. The A-team, already on the case.

Hiccup: Yeah, okay, you know, it might be a little early in their dragon riding careers to-

Suddenly Dreamsong flew past them, still holding the green leaf-like dragon egg in her front paws, seemingly trying to get close to the Skrill, while pleadingly roaring out to it, causing Saga and Serenity to panic and worry for the furred dragon's safety.

Saga: Dream!!

The Skrill quickly took notice of Dreamsong and had a hint of relief in his eyes that turned into joy when he saw the egg in her paws, despite knowing that it didn't belong to either of them, as he ignored what Spitelout was saying, but he then became worried as the Auxiliary team were getting too close to the female dragon, causing the electric dragon to zap most of the A team, causing them to fall, Spitelout being one of them.

Snotlout: Dad!

Hiccup: Cover the downed Riders! Saga, get Dreamsong and her egg out of there and away from the Skrill!

Saga and Serenity didn't need to be told twice, Serenity quickly began flying towards the black furred dragon, tuning their surroundings out to keep their focus on getting Dreamsong and her egg away from the danger, but the closer they got to the feathered winged dragon and the skrill, the clearer they see how the two dragons seemed to know each other, Dreamsong continued to roar pleadingly at the Skrill as he glared at Hiccup and Toothless as the night fury was heading straight to him to go nose to nose with him.

The Skrill was about to fire at the night fury, but quickly stopped as Dreamsong flew in front of him, going between him and Toothless at the same time when Hiccup got tossed off. Without hesitation, Saga and Serenity quickly flew in and caught both Hiccup and Toothless, Hiccup landed behind Saga on Serenity's back, while Serenity had caught Toothless with her talons like an owl, they then moved to fly beside Stoick and his dragon Skullcrusher.

Hiccup: Thanks, Saga.

Saga: ( to Hiccup, half jokingly: ) Don't you know that going face to face with death is my thing?

Hiccup: Yeah, I still don't like the idea of that being your thing.

Stoick: ( to Hiccup: ) Interesting strategy, going nose to nose with the Skrill.

Hiccup: Yeah, wasn't my strategy.

Stoick: What is that dragon and what is it doing?

Hiccup: No clue.

Saga: Judging by their behavior, I think they might know each other.

The riders then land their dragons onto Berk, and Snotlout showed up with his Dad while Dreamsong roared pleadingly at the Skrill as it took off.

Saga: Snotlout, is your dad okay?

Snotlout: It's my dad. He bludgeons his own head for sport. Of course he's fine.

Spitelout then said something, but they couldn't understand a word he was saying as it all came as unintelligible grumbles.

Snotlout: Like I said, he's fine. Except for that blast of lighting he took to the head.

Spitelout then said something again, and again no one could understand a word he said.

Snotlout: Aw, thanks, Dad! I'm proud of you too.

Dreamsong then lands on the ground with the riders with a sad and defeated look on her face, and she was holding back tears in her eyes as she hugged the egg in her paws for comfort, making Saga and Serenity quickly go to comfort the furred dragon.

Fishlegs: Well, all the huts seem to be in fairly good condition.

Saga and Astrid then turned their heads in the same direction, and Saga's eyes widened in shock at the now charred Haddock house.

Astrid: All except for one.

Stoick: My house!

Ruffnut: Hey, Chief, is the charred look in this year?

Tuffnut: I actually- ( sees Dreamsong state ) ( worried: ) Dreamsong, what's wrong? Speak to me, did that mean Skrill hurt you?

Dreamsong didn't make a sound, she only turned away from the Thorston twin, and the tears in her eyes began to fall as she made sad whines.

Tuffnut: She's not talking! And she's a dragon that can actually talk.

Astrid: Weird, that Dreamsong seemed to have quickly gained the Skrill's focus as soon as she got close enough to it and that Stoick's house is the only one the Skrill attacked.

Saga: ( knowingly to the gang, while gently petting Dreamsong's wings to comfort her: ) It's on a revenge streak, and judging by what you all told me, the poor Skrill is after everyone that had hurt him.

Fishlegs: Huh. That could explain why the Skrill went to Outcast island and then here. But it doesn't explain his behavior towards Dreamsong-

Dreamsong then suddenly flopped on her side with a sad expression as tears fell down her face and she curled herself up around the egg, whining sadly and a bit loudly, surprising everyone.

Fishlegs: Or Dreamsong's behavior.

Hiccup: Yeah, it's not randomly attacking and it didn't even try to harm Dreamsong when she got close to it. It's looking for me and Toothless.

Astrid: And Outcast island is the last place it saw you guys, before-

Saga: ( with her stern mom glare and her arms crossed: ) Before you led him into the crevasse, sealed him inside, and continued the cycle of abuse the poor thing had taken instead of breaking the cycle.

Snotlout: ( to Hiccup: ) He's mad at you.

Hiccup: Snotlout and Saga are right. It-

Saga: Oh for the love of Thor. The Skrill's a male, stop calling him an it before I punch you.

Snotlout: How can you tell?

Saga: I had my own adventures before you guys, this isn't the first time I've encountered a skrill.

Hiccup: Anyway... He is mad. And he's looking for revenge for trapping it back in that glacier.

Hearing this caused Dreamsong's head to pop up, and she turned to look at Hiccup and Toothless with slight anger in her eyes.

Astrid: What choice did we have? It was either that or let Dagur have it.

Saga: ( sarcastically: ) Why don't you explain that to the Skrill? ( Honestly, and a bit angrily with her hands on her hips: ) Or you could have just set him free instead of trapping him and continuing the cycle of his life of entrapment.

Toothless growled angrily.

Hiccup: Relax, bud. We've dealt with the Skrill before, we'll deal with it again-

Saga: Well, while you are doing that, I'm actually going to try to help the Skrill instead of entrapping it. The poor thing will definitely become a target if Dagur or the hunters see him, and it's my duty as a dragon caretaker to protect him from them. And once I do, I'll see if the Skrill would want to stay with me at the sanctuary where he will be safe and cared for.

Snotlout: You're joking right, Saga? You can't possibly think it's a good idea for that thing to be on the Edge. Hiccup, please talk some sense into her, she's obviously doing that thing she does that could get her killed and tells you about the letter for only you and Astrid to read.

Dreamsong now glared at Spitelout as he swung an axe around.

Tuffnut: Uh, is it just me or is Snotlout's dad acting a little more violent and deranged as usual while Dreamsong is giving him a death glare.

Spitelout still swung the axe around before raising his fist.

Snotlout: Looks like the Skrill isn't the only one out for revenge. Fear not, dear Father. You will be avenged.

Dreamsong then turned her glare at Snotlout without him noticing when he said that, and she gently placed the green leaf-like dragon egg on the ground.

Snotlout: ( dramatically: ) We Jorgensens will have our pound of Skrill flesh. I will make sure of it-

Snotlout then screamed as Dreamsong suddenly pounced on him and Spitelout, pinning both of them onto the ground with her paws, and she roared angrily and protectively in their faces, shocking everyone, especially the other riders as they haven't seen this side of the black furred dragon

Saga: Dream's right. No one's going to lay a hand on that Skrill. He'll clearly be coming back to Berk for Hiccup and Toothless, Serenity and I need to be ready to calm him down with the help of Dreamsong and her egg.

Hiccup: No, Saga, it's too dangerous. And we're not waiting for it- him.

Astrid: ( to Hiccup: ) You're sure this is the way you want to play it?

Hiccup: It's me and Toothless he wants. It's me and Toothless he's gonna get.

Astrid: But don't you think it would be better if we were there? The Skrill doesn't stand a chance against all of us.

Hiccup: And he knows that, which is why I don't think he'll show up unless it's just me and Toothless.

Saga hated every word the couple were saying, and it hurts her heart from the anger that rises with each word her crushes spoke.

Astrid: All right, guys, you heard the man. Let's saddle up.

Saga: ( sternly, without looking at Hiccup or Astrid: ) No.

The twins slowly and carefully pulled Dreamsong away from the two Jorgensens, and Tuffnut picked up the green leaf-like dragon egg and used one hand to cover the front of the egg, seemingly trying to cover the eyes of the baby dragon within the egg while Ruffnut used both her hands to cover the side of the egg seemingly trying to cover the baby dragon's ears, as both twins seemed to know what was about to happen.

Hiccup: Saga, I get you don't like it, but please listen-

Saga: ( shouts: ) NO!

Everyone besides the twins, their Zippleback, Serenity, and Dreamsong, were taken aback by Saga's outburst as they have never seen the alchemist snap at anyone before, especially like this. Saga then angrily went up to Hiccup, took off her goggles, and glared into his eyes.

Saga: You listen! I ain't going to let you or anyone hurt that dragon again! And don't give that " we didn't have any other choice " bull! You always have another choice, that's just an excuse. I ain't going to let you mentally scar another dragon like you all did to Tesla just because you think you can't handle them or tame them like the other dragons! Just because they don't act like everyone else, doesn't mean you can just shove them aside and pretend like they don't have emotions!

Astrid: Saga-

Saga: Don't, just don't. I don't want to hear your excuses.

Saga then walked away from Hiccup and Astrid, grabbed the strange dragon egg from the twins, and walked off with Serenity and Dreamsong following. Before Dreamsong left to follow the alchemist, she turned to the riders and glared at Hiccup, Toothless, and the two Jorgensens.

Dreamsong: ( mimics Saga's voice: ) " I don't want to hear your excuses. "

Dreamsong then made an angry huff before turning her back to the group and walked off to follow the alchemist and the Stormcutter, leaving the dragon riders and the Vikings there in complete shock.

Tuffnut: Who knew a lover's tiffs can be so scary. I say we listen to the alchemist, because we all know she's right and as much as I would like to see Dreamsong fry Snotlout and Snotlout's dad, all this negativity isn't good for the baby dragon inside the egg.

Snotlout: It hasn't even hatched yet.

Ruffnut: Hey, we don't know if the little guy or girl in the egg can't hear or see everything around them inside the egg. I would rather not mentally scar the poor future dragon Thorston like we did to Tesla when we rerouted her algae route.

Fishlegs: Hiccup, Saga does have a point though and I think we all know that she's going to try to help the Skrill no matter what we say.

Hiccup: I know. And that's what scares me.
