That morning, the dragon riders were at the Edge's dome with Serenity and Toothless and were looking at the black furred dragon, who they had to move the entire nest and the 16 dragon eggs to the dome to get the mysterious dragon there. The black furred dragon was curled up around the eggs in the nest, using her feather wings like a blanket to keep the eggs and herself warm while she was cautiously staring at the seven humans standing a few feet away from her and the nest.

Saga was currently using the Dragon Eye, trying to see if there was any information on the dragon, but with seemingly little luck as she shifted from projection to projection, while Hiccup and Fishlegs were observing the new dragon from afar as Fishlegs was drawing a sketch of the furred dragon in a book. Astrid was standing beside Saga, as the alchemist was beginning to get frustrated as she was searching through the lens of the Dragon Eye. Snotlout and the twins were looking at the new dragon in awe.

Serenity watched the alchemist's frustration with worry while Toothless was trying to get closer to the black furred dragon, to only get smacked in the face by the female dragon's paw like a cat each time he got too close to the nest.

Fishlegs: ( excitedly: ) I can't believe it, Hiccup. A new species of dragon, and look at her. She's nothing like any kind of dragon species we've seen before!

Hiccup: She doesn't even look like a dragon, with her fur and feathered wings.

Fishlegs: Her slim and fragile looking stature suggests that she's not physically strong, but she could be incredibly agile and swift because of it.

Black furred dragon: ( looks at Toothless after giving him a few paw smacks as she mimics the sounds of a woman's voice: ) " Stay back! "

Fishlegs: And I'm still baffled by the fact she can talk!

Tuffnut: And let's not forget that she had brought two new eggs in the sanctuary clutch. ( Yelling slightly with a smile: ) With one of the eggs looking like it was struck by lightning!-

The black furred dragon flicks a pebble at Tuffnut in slight annoyance as her ears pinned back at his yelling, the pebble hits the Thorston twin in the eye.

Tuffnut: Ah! My eye!

The black furred dragon only lets out an annoyed huff with her cheeks puffed out slightly as her ears stay pinned back on her head.

Hiccup then quickly turned his attention to Saga and Astrid as soon he heard the alchemist let out a groan of frustration.

Saga: The Dragon Eye has nothing on any dragon of her description. Looks or the ability to mimic voices.

Suddenly a terrible terror flew to the group with a written report, it lands in front of Hiccup, and he quickly took the written report and read it.

Hiccup: Saddle up, gang. The outcasts were attacked and have abandoned their island.

The riders quickly went to get the rest of their dragons, not noticing that the black furred dragon's ears had precked up suddenly, seemingly sensing something when Hiccup mentioned Outcast island.

When she saw the seven riders take off on their dragons, Saga was on Serenity, the black furred dragon slowly got up from the nest and carefully stepped out of it. She then lets out a small roar, and all the night terrors came to her call.

The black furred dragon gave them a shy and nervous look as she points her wing towards the nest, asking them to watch over the eggs. The white night terror calmly nodded his head before he and a few other night terrors climbed into the nest and nuzzled the eggs, working together to keep the eggs warm while the rest of the pack of night terrors formed a defensive circle around the nest. The black furred dragon gave them a grateful smile before she turned to the direction the riders took off in, opened her feathered wings, and took off gracefully into the air to follow after the riders.
