Ryker had led his hunters for a final attack, and they were at the lower lands of the outpost. Ryker was keeping a lookout for any signs of the alchemist, as he was trying to not let Saga get a move ahead of him again.

Ryker: ( to the hunters: ) Don't stop until you find the girl and til you kill every last one of those riders.

Battlestrike was watching the hunters from on top of the cliff while standing beside Tuffnut and his pet chicken, as Saga had asked him to protect the Thorston boy.

Tuffnut: Good evening, Mr. Ryker.

Ryker and the hunters looked up at them, Tuffnut was petting Chicken as Battlestrike proudly stood beside the viking and his pet with his stinger raised, ready to attack as he gave the hunters a challenging glare.

Tuffnut: We've been expecting you.

Ryker: ( to his hunters: ) You can start with those two. But save the chicken. I like chicken.

Chicken then started clucking a little nervously in response to Ryker's statement, and Tuffnut quickly tried to calm her while Battlestrike gave the hunters a protective glare.

Tuffnut: Not to worry, my little fricassee. You won't be on anyone's menu tonight.

Battlestrike then glanced at Tuffnut as the boy made the weirdest battlecry the dragon has ever heard to the sky, confusing the hunters.

The Night Terrors then flew up in the form of a Night fury at the sound. The hunters backed away in fear at the sight of the Night Terrors' formation while Ryker stayed where he was.

Ryker: ( to his hunters: ) Hold your ground!

Ryker then saw that one of the hunters dropped their bow and dragon-root arrows and he picked them up before he shot the white night terror down, causing the other night terrors to scatter.

Ryker: You don't think I've seen what Night Terrors can do? You people never learn.

Saga and Astrid then swooped in on Stormfly, Saga was smiling at Ryker as she sat on Stormfly's saddle behind Astrid. Battlestrike quickly ran to the white Night terror, lifted him up onto his back, and glared at Ryker for shooting his fellow pack leader down.

Saga: I could say the same for you, Ryker. Battlestrike, battlecry!

Battlestrike then lets out a loud roar, causing the night terrors to return and attack the hunters head on, with the alpha speed stinger watching with a serious look in his eyes as he carried the white night terror on his back. Saga smiled at Ryker as she watch the night terrors attack the hunters.

Saga: ( to Ryker: ) You really need to stop thinking I don't have something up my sleeves. It's getting sad to watch.

Battlestrike then gently placed the white night terror on the ground, behind a rock where the tiny dragon could be some from the battle, before the alpha speed stinger jumped into the attack with the night terrors, attacking any hunters that even dare try to aim their weapons at the night terrors by giving deep and painful slash wounds with his claws before stinging them.

Saga: Woo-hoo! Go, Strike-y!

Astrid lands Stormfly with a smile on her face to see that Tuffnut's plan was working, then suddenly, both her and Saga were knocked off the nadder and landed on the ground, and Saga felt someone grab her and tie her hands behind her back. Astrid looked up to Dagur the Deranged, and saw that he had tied Saga's hands behind her back.

Dagur: ( menacingly as he drew out his sword: ) Hello, Astrid.

Astrid quickly drew out her axe and charged at Dagur. Saga watched in worry as the two started fighting each other. Saga then remembered something, she then, despite having both her hands tied behind her back, managed to grabbed a dagger that she had in a hidden pocket on the back of her shirt, she then cut herself free from the ropes.

Saga then charged into Astrid and Dagur's fight, and kicked the berserker chief's sword out of his hand. Dagur looked at the alchemist in slight surprise and was somewhat impressed while the alchemist coldly glared at him.

Saga: ( coldly and sternly, at Dagur: ) Don't you touch her.

Dagur: You really are Ryker's niece aren't you?

Saga's eyes widened in shock at Dagur's words, Astrid was shock as well, but she looked at the alchemist in slight worry as she saw the panic and confusion in the alchemist's eyes behind her goggles.

( With Battlestrike )

Battlestrike was still attacking the hunters alongside the night terrors when he heard bawking, he turned his head to see Tuffnut throwing his pet chicken right at two hunters, surprisingly Chicken was doing a good job at attacking the two hunters, but the alpha speed stinger ran to help the chicken as he knew that the bird wouldn't last long in the fight against the hunters with weapons without help.

Battlestrike then picked Chicken up and placed her on his back before he started charging at the two hunters the bird was attacking, Chicken cluck in slight confusion before she calmed down and settled with being on the speed stinger's back.

Then suddenly...

...

...

...

...Rascal came out of nowhere and blast at the two hunters, knocking them away from the alpha speed stinger and Chicken. Battlestrike smiled at Rascal with a proud smile, making Rascal smile back at him.

Battlestrike then looks up to see Hiccup and the rest of the gang, alongside a pack of wild dragons that had scars like him, flying towards the Edge and dramatically come to aid them. Panther was holding Ruffnut by her arms as he flew beside Fishlegs and Meatlug, just as the sun rises.

Saga watched with a smile on her face while she stood beside Astrid, before the alchemist glared at the berserker chief as soon he opened his mouth to respond to Hiccup and the others' entrance.

Dagur: Why does he always have to make such a production out of everything? I really hate that guy.

Astrid then watched in shock as Saga punched Dagur hard in the face for his statement, knocking him back and onto the ground.

Saga: ( confused, to Astrid: ) What?

Hiccup: All right, gang, let's clean up this mess.

The pack of scarred dragons scattered to fight the hunters, and Panther growled as he looked down at the hunters.

Snotlout: Yeah! I love the smell of Zippleback gas in the morning!

Panther then drops Ruffnut before he goes to join the fight, who screamed in surprise, causing Saga to run off to make sure the Thorston twin was okay.

Saga smiled in relief when she saw that Tuffnut and Barf & Belch had caught Ruffnut.

Tuffnut: ( to Ruffnut: ) Hey, sis. How's it going?

Ruffnut: ( referring to Panther: ) I cannot figure that dragon out.

Tuffnut: ( as he watched Panther brutally attacking two dragon hunters and as Ruffnut made her way on their dragon's saddle: ) One might say he lives up to his name.

Ruffnut: One might. Shall we wreak some havoc?

Tuffnut: We shall. But first...

The twins glanced at Saga before looking at each other before smiling and giving each other a nod in agreement, confusing the alchemist.

Barf and Belch suddenly picked Saga up and placed her on their back while the twins looked at the alchemist with identical smiles on their faces.

Tuffnut: Come, new sister! Let's cause some havoc together, as a family!

Ruffnut: Yeah!

Saga looked at the two with shock before she smiled at them.

Saga: Let's get 'em!

The twins and the alchemist then joined in, the twins having their zippleback fire at the hunters and with Saga's help, their chaos almost looked sorta organized, which caused the hunters to begin retreating.

Panther watched from afar with a glare as Heather and Windshear swooped in and rescued Dagur. He jumped down to Astrid and was about to take off to fly after the fleeing enemies, but Astrid quickly stopped him, which he instantly listened to the blonde warrior.

Astrid: ( calmly, to Panther: ) It's okay, boy. They're no threat to us.

Rascal then charged at and pinned Ryker to the ground as soon he saw the hunter, and was about to fire a plasma blast at him, when Hiccup stopped him.

Hiccup: Rascal, no! Back down.

Rascal reluctantly gets off of Ryker, but he continues to glare angrily at the hunter, who looks up at Hiccup and Toothless.

Hiccup: ( to Ryker: ) It's over, Ryker.

Ryker: ( begrudgingly: ) We will meet again, Haddock!

Ryker then raised his arm, and Windshear swooped in and grabbed him and they left the Edge along with the other hunters.

( Slight time skip )

After Hiccup and the other riders told Astrid, Saga, and the twins finished telling them what happened when they left Dragon's Edge and their discovery, they went outside the stables. Battlestrike, Panther and Rascal had left to check on Tesla and the other baby furies.

Hiccup: ( to Saga, Astrid, and the twins: ) How did you manage to hold them off for so long?

Astrid: It's called teamwork. Right, Tuff?

Tuffnut: I'll go along with that. Since I am the captain of Team Tuffnut. ( Honestly: ) Plus, I have a feeling if I don't, my new sister Saga here ( gestures to Saga, who just smiled at him ) will give me her stern glare again.

Saga: ( honestly and calmly: ) Yep.

Ruffnut: ( to Astrid: ) Well, you must be feeling extra guilty.

Astrid: Actually, I am.

Ruffnut: And sorry.

Astrid: Definitely.

Ruffnut: And-

Ruffnut sees that Saga was giving her the stern mom glare with her arms crossed.

Ruffnut: Right, no more fooling around. Sorry, Saga. I accept your apology, my dear Astrid.

Hiccup: ( nervously chuckles ) Speaking of Saga...

Fishlegs: ( to Saga, with a hopeful look: ) Do you think you might have enough room for a few more new members to your dragon family?

Fishlegs opened the doors to the stables, where the scarred wild dragons were running around. The riders watched as the alchemist walked up to one of the scarred dragons, a teal nadder with reddish pink markings on his back, tail, and legs and a tint of reddish pink, purple, and yellow on his wings.

The scarred nadder looked down at the alchemist as she slowly raised her hand out to him, the nadder took notice that she had scars on shoulder and arm, causing him to slowly press his nose against the palm of her hand, and he became calmer towards her, causing the rest of his pack to go towards her as the whole pack seemed to see the alchemist as not a threat.

Saga: ( as she looks at the pack: ) Aw, you all had a rough life didn't you? Just like Battlestrike and Little Tooth.

The riders talked as they watched in awe as Saga seemed to have earned the trust of the pack of scarred dragons with more ease than Hiccup and Fishlegs did.

Astrid: ( quietly, so Saga doesn't hear her: ) Hiccup, there's something I need to tell you. It's about Saga...

Ruffnut: ( quietly, to the group, so Saga doesn't hear her as she doesn't want to upset her: ) Ryker and Dagur called Saga Ryker's niece.

Hiccup, Fishlegs, and Snotlout's eyes widened in shock, before the gang's attention was brought back to the alchemist when she cleared her throat.

Saga: ( to the gang, nervously: ) Don't worry, these guys can stay with me, on my side of the island. I kinda was meaning to tell you guys, but... I guess now is better than never. I.... I want to turn my side into a dragon sanctuary!

The gang looked at Saga with slight surprise, while Hiccup was smiling at her.

Saga: It's just... Ugh, I'm terrible at this. ( Takes a deep breath ) I have a feeling we're going to find more dragons that were hurt by the hunters like Battlestrike and them, and not to mention the 14 night fury eggs we have. I... I want to give them somewhere and someone to turn to like how you guys and Tesla did for me... I know it sounds crazy, and alchemy will always be my thing, but-

Hiccup: I don't think it sounds crazy at all. As far as anyone here knows, you are the best person to take care of them, and we all know that you will always put them first.

Tuffnut: ( honestly: ) I mean, you built a dragon nursery before building yourself a hut first, little sis.

Saga smiled warmly at her friends and her two newly adopted siblings, when the baby Gronkle went up to her and nuzzled her leg.

( A few days later, on Saga's side of the Edge )

Saga's side of the island now had multiple new structures, such as multiple den-like homes for the dragons, tall perching stands, and Saga now finally made herself a house, that was close to docks and to the nursery.

Saga walks out of her hut with a smile as the sun rised into the sky, and she looked out to all the dragons in her small sanctuary. The scarred dragons were now wearing matching leather collars with their new names on them, and some of them were watching as the baby gronkle was playing with the Indigo. Panther was laying beside the yellow scarred monstrous nightmare named " Firescrapes " as the two seem to have made a silent friendship bond. Rascal was swimming in the water with Little Tooth happily riding on his back. While the scarred teal nadder now named" Scardian ", gently nudged Battlestrike towards Tesla as the flightmare walked out of the nursery.

Battlestrike was holding a fish in his mouth, and he nervously walked up to the flightmare. Tesla looked at him curiously as he placed the fish in front of her and nudged it towards her with a nervous look in his eyes. Tesla purred at the speed stinger before eating the fish, and the two then nuzzled their heads to each other, both of them purring.

Saga looked at the two with a smile on her face, before she pulled out a folded up letter from her apron pocket and looked at it with slight sadness in her eyes.

Saga: At least they're brave enough to confess their feelings towards each other. Because, I probably never will...

( Meanwhile with Hiccup and Astrid )

Hiccup and Astrid stood outside the clubhouse, looking at the direction of Saga's side of the island.

Hiccup: So... We both grown to have feelings for her, huh?

Astrid: ( sighs ) Yeah, but... What if it doesn't work out? Or she doesn't feel the same way?

Hiccup: We'll continue to do what we can to keep her safe.  ( Grabs Astrid's hand ) No matter how she views us.
