Ryker had him and his hunters camp at an island near Dragon's Edge. Ruffnut was still tied up.

Ryker: ( angrily: ) Both ships. They snuck both ships!! And that niece of mine traumatized two of my men!

Heather looked at Ryker with shock at what he called Saga, but she quickly pretended like she wasn't shocked.

Ruffnut: I'd like to take this moment to point out that I did mention you'd be sorry for attacking the Edge. Just saying. ( Silently with a shock expression: ) Wait, did he just call Saga his niece?

Ryker: ( to Ruffnut, angrily: ) The only thing I'm sorry about is that my men took you alive.

Ryker drew out his sword and points it at Ruffnut, and Heather was about to step in when suddenly a plasma blast knocked the sword out of Ryker's hand.

Everyone looked around to see what fired the blast, to see nothing.

Dagur: Where did that-

Then suddenly Rascal jumped out of the ocean waters, grabbed a hunter, and attacked the hunter under the water like a crocodile. Then Tuff, Ruff, Winky, and Panther appeared and fired at the hunters to distract them while Little Tooth and Indigo came out from a nearby bush and pulled the ropes off of Ruffnut.

Ruffnut: Now that's what I call a rescue!

Ruff then ran to Ruffnut as the female Thorston twin picked up the two baby furies, and grabbed the viking girl as she took off into the sky. The three older baby furies quickly took off and flew away with Ruff while Rascal followed them in the water. Ryker watched angrily as the group of young night furies flew away with Ruffnut.

Ruffnut: ( yells out, to Ryker and the hunters: ) See you later, suckers!!!

Ryker: ( growls ) I should've known that Saga would have a trick up her sleeve!

Dagur: Again, I hate to say it, I'm starting to like that alchemist.

Ryker: Second wave! Go! Now! And remember, Saga is to be unharmed when captured, or it's your heads on spikes!

The hunters: Aye, aye!

Ryker then turned to Heather.

Ryker: You! Take that dragon and attack from the sky!

Heather nods her head in response before walking away.

( Back with Saga, on the Edge )

Saga and Battlestrike were in the woods and were hiding in a tall tree, watching a group of hunters walking through the forest. Saga smiled to herself before she snapped her fingers, signaling Battlestrike to attack, which he did.

Battlestrike jumped down from the tree, and swiftly attacked the group of hunters by himself, giving them deep slash wounds with his claws, causing them to retreat, making both the alchemist and the alpha speed stinger laugh as the group of hunters ran straight into a defense trap.

Saga: ( laughing: ) They ran straight into that one! Hahaha!

Saga then accidentally fell out of the tree and landed onto the ground on her back, but she was still laughing. Battlestrike looks at the alchemist in concern as he looks over her to check for any wounds.

Saga: ( laughs ) I'm okay, Strike-y. I'm just dying from laughter by how stupid these hunters can be.

( Slight Time Skip )

Saga and Battlestrike met up with Tuffnut and Astrid at the clubhouse, to hear them bicker.

Saga: ( ahem )

Astrid and Tuffnut turned to see Saga was giving them the stern mom glare.

Saga: You both better pray that you two weren't bickering again.

Tuffnut: ( calmly: ) We weren't, I was just asking Astrid if she wanna be captured and tortured by crazed Dragon Hunters, or listen to Plan Tuffnut? What say you, Saga?

Saga: I say we listen to Plan Tuffnut and maybe, if we can, trick some hunters into falling into some more of my defense traps while we wait for the baby furies to come back from their mission to rescue Ruffnut.

Tuffnut and Astrid looked at Saga in shock, which Saga just gave them a honest smile.

Saga: ( honestly: ) Did you guys really think I didn't train the baby furies some rescue strategies or didn't have a plan to rescue Ruffnut without any problems? I've been chased by and have been raiding these guys for supplies and night fury eggs for years, they're very predictable to me by now.

Tuffnut: ( to Saga, with a smile: ) You, my dear new sister, are a mad genius.

Saga: So.... Astrid, whatcha say?

Astrid: ( sighs ) Well, what do we have to lose?

Saga: ( not getting that Astrid was being rhetorical: ) Quite a lot, actually. The huts, Darla, the Dragon Eye, my freedom, your lives, our dragons, the satisfaction of seeing Ryker mad every time he loses to us-

Tuffnut: Saga, Saga. I think she was being rhetockrical.

Saga: I think you mean " rhetorical ", Tuffnut.

Tuffnut: Yep. That's the word.

Astrid sighs tiredly as she doesn't like the idea of having the fate of the island and their lives in the hands of Tuffnut, but she mentally tells herself to do it for Saga's sake. Battlestrike gained the group's attention with a small roar.

Tuffnut: Don't worry, little tough guy. I promise you, you'll get to have some fun too.

Battlestrike smiled mischievously in response as he raised his stinger up as his way to tell the three humans that he was ready to fight.

( A few minutes later )

Saga, Astrid, Battlestrike, Stormfly, and Tuffnut  watched from on top of a cliff as the hunters tried to climb up the ropes that were tied to the cliff, to only stop when they noticed that there was a slime-like substance on the ropes and onto their hands, they looked up confused to see the three riders looking down at them with identical smirks on their faces.

Astrid: Hello! ( To Tuffnut: ) Ropes soaked with monstrous nightmare gel? I wouldn't have thought of that.

Tuffnut just smiled before he turned to Stormfly.

Tuffnut: Would you like to do the honors?

Stormfly walked to the edge of the cliff and lit the ropes on fire, the hunters quickly jumped off the ropes as soon they saw the flames race down the ropes, but as soon the hunters hit the ground, a blue foam-like substance comes out of the ground and trapping the hunters as it hardens. Saga stiffened a laugh in response to seeing the hunters fall into one of her defense traps.

Astrid: All right! What's next?

Tuffnut: You're gonna love this.

( Meanwhile with Ruffnut and the baby furies )

The baby furies and Ruffnut arrived at the Edge on Saga's side of the island. Ruffnut saw that hunters were trying to knock the door to the nursery down, she and the baby furies could hear Tesla's cries of panic.

Ruffnut: Oh no they don't! No one messes with our dragons, that's our job.

The five older baby furies growled angrily as they charged at the hunters and started attacking them, Panther and Rascal were slashing at them with their claws, giving them slash wounds while Winky and the fury twins shot at them.

While the hunters were distracted by defending themselves from the five attacking Ruffnut quickly ran into the nursery with Little Tooth and Indigo. Ruffnut quickly closed the door behind her and the two baby furies, before she approached Tesla to help calm her down as she was shaking in fear while protectively standing in front of her nest with the eggs and the Dragon Eye inside.

Ruffnut: ( to Tesla: ) Easy, girl. It's okay, it's just me. Your good pal, Ruffnut and your two babies.

Little Tooth and Indigo quickly ran to Tesla and nuzzled her, calming the flightmare down a little as she purred at them. They could hear the sounds of the five older baby furies beating up the hunters outside.

Ruffnut: Man, those guys not only grown bigger, but feistier. I like it.

Tesla lets out a worried whine, and Ruffnut quickly begins to try to calm her down.

Ruffnut: It's okay, Tes, everything will be okay.
