The sun was setting, and Saga was currently running up the stairs to the clubhouse with a panicked expression and Battlestrike following close behind her. Saga now had her goggles on.

Saga ran in the Clubhouse to see Astrid and Tuffnut.

Saga: ( is out of breath: ) Hunters... Ambush... Who's idea was to have so many stairs? I'm an alchemist, I don't do much combat or exercise unless I have to.

Astrid: Saga, breathe. Tuffnut already told me about the Dragon hunters.

Tuffnut: They got Ruffnut. And I was just helping Astrid work through, you know, the shame, all the bad things she did....

As Tuffnut was talking, Saga glanced behind her to see Dragon hunter ships slowly floating towards the Edge.

Tuffnut: ...all the things she should feel bad about, you know, get some closure-

Saga: We might not have time for that right now. As I do believe we have a tiny little situation. You two might want to see this.

The three and the alpha speed stinger walked out of the clubhouse, Astrid and Tuffnut saw the hunter ships that were approaching. The four then went back inside the clubhouse.

Saga: Like I said, ambush. They are planning on taking over the island to get me and the Dragon Eye.

Astrid: And you know this how?

Saga: ( hesitantly: ) Uh...

( flashback to a half hour ago )

Saga was standing in front of the two hunters she had captured with her goggles off, and she had them tied to the mast of her ship. Battlestrike was standing beside her while the rest of Saga's dragons stayed in the nursery where they be safe like the alchemist asked them. Saga then pulled out

Saga: ( to the hunters, sternly: ) You two really choose the wrong time to mess with me and my friends. So, here's the deal, boys. It's either you both choose the easy way and you talk or you choose the hard way and you both will be my new testers for my new chemical mixtures. And trust me, today I am not merciful. ( Angrily: ) NOT MERCIFUL AT ALL ESPECIALLY WHEN YOUR SAD EXCUSE FOR A BOSS TRIED TO KILL HIC- MY FRIEND, YOU LOW DOWN, NO GOOD, SONS OF B-

( back to the present )

Saga: ( to Astrid and Tuffnut: ) I'll tell you guys later. Right now, we have a problem to deal with.

Tuffnut: Saga's right. What's the plan? We have to get my sister back.

Saga: I agree with Tuffnut, but we can't do that if it means risking the hunters taking over the island. I think me and my dragons can distract the hunters while you two go-

Astrid: The first thing is to send an SOS to Berk. We need reinforcements, fast. The auxiliary team.

Astrid grabbed a parchment and wrote a quick note, tied it to a terrible terror before letting the small dragon fly away.

Saga: Astrid, how do we know he'll get there in time?

Astrid: We don't.

Tuffnut: Well, how do we know they'll get back here in time?

Astrid: We don't.

Saga: ( trying to get Astrid and Tuffnut's attention: ) Guys.

Tuffnut: ( to Astrid: ) Okay, there is a terrifying lack of clarity in those answers.

Battlestrike was looking out the door of the clubhouse, glaring at the hunter ships.

Astrid: It's all gonna be okay, Tuffnut. We're gonna hold down the Edge, defend this base, and we will get your sister back. Okay? Say, "Okay, Astrid ".

Tuffnut: Okay, Astrid.

Saga: ( knowingly: ) Okay, there's no possible way we can defend the Edge against an all-out attack with only one flyable dragon, one battle ready flightless dragon, and seven baby dragons while Tesla is protecting the eggs, the baby furies, and the Dragon Eye in the nursery. And I haven't been able to make enough glass arrows for Darla's ballista for something like this. And there's no guarantee that all the hunters are going to step into all my defense traps, accidentally or not.

Astrid: But maybe, we can slow them down until help gets here, if we use our spears and arrows sparingly.

Saga: No offense, Astrid, but spears and arrows aren't going to keep you and Tuff alive long for help to arrive. They'll be expecting that. We need to do something they won't expect.

Tuffnut: Wait! I know an even better way we can slow them down.

Astrid: Not now, Tuff. I need to think.

Saga frowned as she was getting tired of Astrid not taking the twins seriously or listening to them.

Tuffnut: No, seriously, Astrid! You need to hear this. Listen to me.

Astrid: All right, what? What is your idea?

Tuffnut: Okay, well, as you know, tricking is my area of expertise. I am the official Dragon Edge's Trickster. Trickster extraordinaire. The Mayor of Tricksville.

Astrid: Yeah. I get it. We all know how tricky you are.

Tuffnut: But, they don't! So, I figure, we trick them into thinking there are more of us than there are. We can start with our scareships, and then build our own little tricking army.

Saga smiled slightly as she liked Tuffnut's idea and she started thinking to herself, tuning out Tuffnut and Astrid's conversation.

Saga: ( thoughts: ) That could work. And maybe, this time I can make explosive chemical mixtures on purpose as some kind of long way attack like the arrows, but how do I do that without blowing me or Astrid and Tuff up in the process-

Saga's thoughts were then interrupted when Astrid and Tuffnut began to argue, causing Saga to struggle with not going full angry mom mode on them.

Tuffnut: But, I have ideas. Good ideas.

Astrid: And, I believe you.

Tuffnut: No, you don't. The only thing you believe is that I'll mess this up and get us all killed-

Saga: ALRIGHT ENOUGH!

Astrid and Tuffnut froze in shock as Saga walked in between both of them, and gave them the stern mom look.

Saga: I have had it with this. This is not the time for your arguing and bickering. The hunters could be on our shores any minute, kill both of you and our dragons, capture me, and take the bloody flipping Dragon Eye. Now... ( To Astrid, sternly: ) Astrid, sweetie, we get that you train for these kind of situations, but, and I'm sorry to say this, it's too predictable. The Dragon hunters will be expecting it and right now tricking them is our best option to keep us all unharmed and alive.

Astrid blushes slightly to Saga calling her " sweetie " and to seeing this side of the alchemist, a side that she didn't expect or seen before.

Saga then turns to Tuffnut, who was smiling.

Saga: And Tuffnut, we know that you are worried about Ruffnut and you have many good ideas on how to trick the hunters, but we only have so much time, so I need you to go safely nuts and a good few of those ideas to use on those hunters. Got it?

Tuffnut: Yes, ma'am.

Saga: ( to both of them: ) Now, here's what we are going to do. Astrid, you will set up our defenses, Tuffnut do what you have to do, and I'll do what I can with what I got, but be cautious as I'm planning on making something that will go boom! Then we'll come together, and when the time is right, we strike the hunters with everything we got. Am I making myself clear?

Tuffnut: Awesome plan. I like it. And my plan will definitely end up being the most effective. So, it's great.

Astrid: Alright. Just so long we understand and agree that I lead the counter-attack, you both follow me, and Saga stays safe.

Saga: Astrid, honey, I'm a alchemist and I'm wanted by Dragon hunters. I'm never truly safe. Now, let's do this. Let's go, Battlestrike!

The three riders and alpha speed stinger then split up to work on their defenses.

( A few minutes later )

Saga was somewhere in the forest with Battlestrike, standing at the edge of a cliff, and was holding a small glass bottle of a strange, sparky, orange chemical liquid in her hand.

Saga: Alright, let's see if this'll work.

Saga swiftly pulled the bottle's cork and threw the bottle off the cliff as it began aggressively sparkling, and as soon as the bottle touched the ground at the bottom of the cliff, it caused a explosion and made a crater. Saga and Battlestrike smiled mischievously to seeing the results the chemical mixture Saga made.

Saga: ( with a proud smile: ) Looks like we'll need to make more of my newest invention. The " Good morning! " surprise.

( Slight Time Skip, at dawn )

Saga and Battlestrike found Astrid and Tuffnut at the twins' house and ran to them as Tuffnut finished tying balloons to the house. Saga was carrying a large satchel and Battlestrike was holding a sword in his mouth, his teeth holding onto the handle of the sword.

Tuffnut: Is it time?

Astrid: It's time.

Saga: If we die... Let's haunt all the hunters' lives together to make them regret their career choice.

They then gathered at the Clubhouse as they knew that the hunters would soon be at their view.

Saga and Astrid were already at the clubhouse with Battlestrike and Stormfly.

Saga: ( to Astrid and the two dragons: ) Today will probably end up in chaos. But, whatever happens, I'm glad I'm facing it with you guys.

Astrid: You got everything on your end ready right?

Saga: Yep. All the defense traps are step, I am armed with a new invention of mine, and Tesla and the baby furies are save inside the nursery with the eggs and the Dragon Eye. ( Sighs ) ( to Astrid, with a sad expression: ) Listen, Astrid, if something bad happens to me today... There's a letter on my desk on Darla for only you and Hiccup to read.

Astrid looked at Saga with concern and was about to say something when the two of them noticed Tuffnut behind them pushing a wheelbarrow with a cloth over it.

Saga: Whatcha got there, Tuffnut?

Tuffnut removes the cloth, revealing that the wheelbarrow was filled with weapons.

Tuffnut: Ta-da! Only the salutation to all of our problems. ( Picks up his mace ) I call Macey, but you can have any of the others, except maybe this sword and this axe.

Astrid just looks at Tuffnut blankly while Saga looking at the weapons mischievously as she had gotten an idea for a defense trap.

Tuffnut: Can't decide, huh? Yeah, I can understand that. Saga, I know that look, what are you thinking and is it deadly?

Astrid: Tuff, these weapons are all for close combat. If we get to that point-

Saga: ( with a calm, mischievous smile: ) Or we could play a game of Hunter ship darts.

Astrid: ( confused: ) What?

Saga: ( to Astrid, with the calm, mischievous smile still on her face: ) You still have that ballista on your roof right?

Astrid: Yes, why- Saga, what are you thinking.

Saga: Let's just say, I'm going to be giving it a quick upgrade and I will be needing that wheelbarrow of weapons. Just trust me, I have incredible aim.
