A/n: Okay before the chapter can begin, I have one thing to say...

Get your popcorn, because we're going to see the hunters their butts handed to them by the power of alchemy, and because of this there's changes of how the adventure ends, but I hope you like it anyway.

The Dragon riders were exploring the caves, when Toothless and Battlestrike stopped walking as they seemed to have heard a sound, this caused the riders to stop, and Saga's eyes widened when she turned around to see the hunters.

Hiccup: ( to Toothless: ) What's wrong, bud-

Saga: Behind us! Everyone get down and take cover!

The dragons ducked and dodged to avoid the hunters' arrows. Saga hands Little Tooth to Hiccup, before she fired one of her glass arrows at the hunters with her crossbow. When the arrow made contact with one of the hunters, the hunter screamed in pain as the chemicals within the arrow bursted into flames as soon as it made contact. Battlestrike growled angrily as he stayed by Saga's side, ready to strike any hunter that dares tries to lay a hand or arrow on the alchemist.

Astrid: ( to Stormfly: ) Spine shot!

Saga fired three more glass arrows at the hunters as Stormfly shot our her spines at them, forcing the hunters to take cover.

Saga readied her crossbow to fire another arrow with an ice cold glare at the hunters' direction as she heard yelling that she recognized it as Ryker's. As soon as she heard the sound of footsteps of three hunters coming towards them, Saga swiftly fired at one of the three hunters, and before anyone could say something, Battlestrike charge after the two remaining hunters.

Hiccup: Battlestrike!-

Saga: It's okay, Hiccup, Strike's got this! Just stay behind me and protect Little Tooth.

Battlestrike attacked the two hunters swiftly and effortlessly dodged their attacks against him as instead of stinging them like they expected him to, he slashed at them with his claws.

When Battlestrike knocked their crossbows out of their hands with his tail and gave them matching slash scars across their faces, the two hunters quickly retreated.

Battlestrike let out a victory roar before he turned back to rejoin Saga and the riders, walked back to Saga's side as she takes Little Tooth back from Hiccup.

Tuffnut: Woah! Remind me to not mess with Saga and the new guy. ( Gestures to Battlestrike ) Because that was awesome.

Ruffnut: Ha-ha! Yeah!

Saga: Shush. You wake the Snow wraith, things will get more exciting, and I don't mean the good kind.

Hiccup: Saga's right. We wake up that Snow wraith, things get a whole lot trickier.

Astrid: What do you think Ryker's next move is?

Ruffnut: Surrender?

Saga: ( honestly: ) I don't think you guys want my honest answer, because I have a plan on said answer that I know that you guys will say no to, especially Hiccup and maybe Astrid. But to put it short, he'll ask us to send out our leader and me to talk.

Ryker: ( yells out from the cave entrance: ) Dragon riders! Send out your leader and the alchemist to talk!

The riders turned to Saga, who just gives them a smile in response.

Astrid: It's gotta be a trap. I should go out. See what their game is and to protect Saga.

Snotlout: Yeah, let Astrid go!

Ryker: ( calls out: ) Hiccup Haddock! Let's talk this out, like men.

Fishlegs: Oh! I don't like the sound of that.

Hiccup: If there's one chance to settle this without bloodshed, I have to try.

Saga then hands Little Tooth to Astrid as Hiccup grabbed his shield and told Toothless to stay. Saga then walked out before Hiccup as Battlestrike snuck out of the cave without the hunters knowing by running out at his full speed.

Saga walked towards Ryker at the entrance, and Hiccup soon join her and stopped her and himself from going any closer to the hunter and he had Saga stand behind him as he set his shield down on top of his prosthetic leg while Saga held her crossbow in her hand and gave Ryker a distrustful glare.

Ryker: Hmm. Dagur was right. You don't look like much.

Hiccup: Astrid and Saga were right. You look like a psycho.

Saga: ( with a smile: ) And a ugly one too. More uglier than a certain deranged chieftain that I'm not going to say his name at this moment.

Hiccup: What do you want, Ryker?

Ryker: The girl and the Dragon Eye.

Hiccup: ( quickly, with a protective glare: ) Not a chance.

Ryker: They belong to us, the Hunters. You stole it from our ship, and that girl was taken from us when she was just a year old. And we will have both of them back.

Saga's eyes widened in confusion at the last part of Ryker's statement, as she didn't know what Ryker was talking about and she didn't know if what he said was the truth, but Hiccup didn't believe what the hunter said about Saga.

Hiccup: Not today, you won't.

Ryker: Oh, no? Look around. We're in front of you, and the Snow wraith behind you. One time offer. Hand over both Saga and the Dragon Eye, and you're free to go.

Hiccup pats himself, pretending to look for the Dragon Eye, causing Saga to look at him with a confused expression.

Hiccup: Hm. Uh, sorry. I must have left it in my other pants.

Saga: ( not getting what Hiccup was doing, with a smile: ) Oh, Hiccup, it's back on Darla, remember? I was doing some research on it.

Hiccup groaned in response while Ryker slightly growled as he was not amused by Hiccup's antics and was only slightly amused by Saga's antics

Ryker: In that case, hand Saga over and surrender, and you won't meet the same fate as your dragons.

Saga angrily frowned as she saw that behind Ryker, there was a hunter with a bow and arrow, ready to shoot Hiccup. Before Hiccup could say anything, Saga stepped forward with her crossbow ready and with a stern expression.

Saga: Alright, then here's my offer, you and your men leave my friends, our dragons, and the Snow wraith, and get off this island, and I will go with you willingly.

Hiccup: Saga, no!-

Saga: ( whispers, to Hiccup: ) Trust me, I have a plan.

Ryker: You really don't have the Dragon Eye, do you?

Saga: No, he doesn't. But, I do, it's on my ship. Now, do we have a deal or not?

Ryker: ( smiles ) You have yourself a deal, lass.

Hiccup watched as Saga walked to Ryker and the hunters. As the alchemist walked to their side of the cave, Ryker gave a silent signal to his anchor.

Saga, who was fully aware of Ryker's plan, held up her crossbow and Ryker ducked just as she fired a glass arrow at the anchor, then she fired another arrow at the top of the cave. Ryker grabbed Saga and pulled her out of the cave entrance as he and his men ran out of the cave before the cave sealed itself off because of the blast of Saga's glass arrow.

( Inside the cave )

Hiccup looked at the sealed off entrance in shock as the other riders and the dragons went to see what had happened.

Astrid: What happ- Where's Saga?!

Hiccup: She sealed off the cave entrance after making a deal with Ryker to have her go with them willingly in exchange for our and the snow wraith's safety, but why? She said she had some kind a plan! I- I should've stopped her!

Tuffnut: Uh, guys? Where's Battlestrike?

The dragon riders looked around and saw that the alpha speed stinger was not with them.

Fishlegs: Wait, of course! She sealed the entrance off so the hunters couldn't harm us or get to the Snow wraith! She and Battlestrike are probably planning to take the hunters on to stall time for us to get to the Snow wraith and relocate it.

Hiccup thinks for a moment, then his eyes widened in realization.

Hiccup: But there's no way she could fend off Ryker, Dagur, Heather, or all those hunters by herself. Could she?

( Meanwhile, outside the cave )

Ryker stood up and turned to Saga with a angered look. While Dagur, Heather, and the hunters were in slight shock from what the alchemist did.

Ryker: Are you mad?! You could've killed us all!

Saga then laughed in response before she looked at Ryker and his hunters with a smile.

Saga: You didn't really think I would willingly go with you or believe your little story, did you? I'm an alchemist, you have to be more smarter than that.

Saga then whistled loudly, and within seconds, not only did Battlestrike ran out of nowhere and stood beside her with a battle ready look in his eyes, but the familiar roar of a flightmare is heard.

Tesla and the five baby furies then flew out of nowhere, Battlestrike looked up and looked at the flightmare in pure awe while the hunters looked at the alchemist and her eight dragons in pure shock. Rascal ran out from under the snow and ran to Saga to stand by her side.

Saga: ( to the hunters, with a cold glare: ) You've had made your one wrong move and now you're all done for. So, if you wish to the light of day again, I advise you surrender and beg for forgiveness.

Dagur: Okay, I hate to say this, but... I'm starting to like this girl.

Saga then snapped her fingers, signalling Tesla and the baby furies to attack. As Saga was firing her glass arrows at hunters with her crossbow, Tesla started paralyzing a good amount of the hunters with her mist while Battlestrike paralyzed hunters with his sting. The five baby furies flew into the air out of range of the hunters' arrows and worked together to fire plasma blasts at the hunters while Rascal fired plasma blasts at any hunter that got close to the alchemist.

Ryker: ( to his men: ) Take down her dragons and take her down without hurting her!

Dagur: Kinda hard to do when she's firing arrows at us! But boy this is fun! ( Laughs )

Heather then got Windshear and tried to fly to Tesla, but before the Razorwhip could get off the ground, Battlestrike pounced onto her and angrily slashed at the metal dragon and her rider with his claws. The alpha speed stinger then suddenly kicked Windshear in the side, knocking her hard onto the ground and her head hit a rock, knocking her out.

Heather: Windshear!

Battlestrike then stung Heather before she could reached for her double-sided axe. Tesla looked down at the speed stinger with a grateful purr as he gave her a confident look in his eyes in response.

Battlestrike and Tesla then saw that Ryker was going to go to Saga and Rascal from behind as the group were almost finished taking down all the hunters. Tesla then swooped down and blasted mist at Ryker, paralyzing him before he got near the alchemist, and Battlestrike knocked the hunter down into the snow. Indigo then saw that Dagur was the only one left that wasn't paralyzed or taken down by Saga's arrows, and she fired at plasma blast to knock out the sword from the berserker chief's hands.

Dagur: ( growls angrily ) It just had to be tiny night furies.

Saga then appeared in front of Dagur and points her crossbow at him with a cheerful smile and a cold look in her eyes.

Saga: Yep. Now, have a nice day.

Dagur: What-

Dagur then froze stiff and fell down to the ground, to reveal that Battlestrike was standing behind him and had paralyzed the berserker chief with his stinger.

Saga then looked at all the paralyzed or unconscious hunters laying on before her at the front of the cave entrance, before lowering her crossbow with a smile to seeing that she and her dragons had won the little fight with the hunters as Tesla and the five baby furies land on the ground to sniff at Battlestrike curiously while Rascal looked at the flightless dragon in awe at seeing how intimidating and strong the speed stinger looked despite the alpha dragon not having any wings.

Saga: Now that's what I call some good old family bonding. ( Turns to her dragons ) Tesla, baby furies, meet our newest non-fury member of our family, Battlestrike. We also have a new baby fury to welcome into our little family, he's with the others. We can meet up with them at the other end of the cave, as I'm sure they had woken the snow wraith up and caused it to burrow.

Tesla watched Battlestrike curiously as the alpha speed stinger sniffed at the six baby furies with a low purr as to him, they looked like bigger versions of the baby night fury he took in as his.

The eight dragons then began following Saga as she began walking away from the front of the sealed off cave entrance with a cheerful smile as she hummed a song to herself.

When she and her dragons got around the other side of the cave, she looked at the ground for a few seconds and when she felt the ground beneath her feet shake a little, she drew three large Xs in certain spots in the snow, and she had her two adult dragons and six baby dragons back away from the Xs as she calmly pulled out a small bag from her apron pocket.

Suddenly three snow wraiths burrowed themselves out from the ground where the three Xs were, and they looked at Saga and her dragons' direction. The alchemist then opened the small bag and poured some green powder out of it in her hand as the three snow wraiths flew towards her, and just as three wraiths were close enough, Saga calmly blow the powder into the three dragons' faces, and....

The three snow wraiths fell to the ground and began purring, revealing that the powder was grounded up dragon nip.

Saga: There you go. You three were just grumpy from being woken up. Now, let's get my friends out so we can find you guys a better home. ( To her dragons: ) You guys keep them company while I get the gang and our newest night baby.

Tesla, Battlestrike, and the six baby furies then calmly approached the three snow wraiths as Saga went to one of the snow wraith tunnels, kneeled down, and yelled into the tunnel with a smile.

Saga: ( into the tunnel, and listen to her voice echo throughout the tunnel: ) Hey, guys! It's safe to come up now! We took care of the hunters! Just follow the sound of my voice! By the way I lied about the Dragon Eye being on Darla, I actually left it at the Clubhouse! Hello!! Hello? Echo! Echo-y echo!

Saga then saw a glimpse of something about to fly out of the tunnel, and she quickly and happily took a few steps back as the dragon riders flew out from the tunnel and saw that not only Saga and Battlestrike were okay, but to see that she was with the rest of her dragon and the three snow wraiths.

As the riders landed, Saga saw that Astrid was still holding Little Tooth, the tiny baby night fury was somehow still asleep despite the chaos.

The riders quickly got off their dragons and went to the alchemist.

Fishlegs: Oh thank Thor you're okay, Saga!

Astrid punched Saga in the shoulder with her free arm as she was holding the wounded baby fury with the other, the alchemist flinched slightly in response.

Astrid: That's for scaring us.

Hiccup: ( to Saga, sternly: ) Don't you ever do something like that ever again.

Saga: ( to Hiccup, with an unfazed smile: ) I told you that I had a plan, didn't I?

Hiccup: Yes, but-

Tuffnut: ( was looking at the snow wraiths ) What did you do to the snow wraiths? They were all kill-y a few minutes ago.

Saga: ( calmly: ) Dragon nip. I carry a bag of some on me just in case a dragon needs a little help calming down while I'm helping them.

Snotlout: What happened to the hunters?

Saga: We had a little disagreement. But don't worry, they won't be bothering us while we relocate the wraiths. Now, come on! We can use Darla to help relocate them.

Astrid: And Heather?

Saga: Battlestrike stung her and knocked out her dragon. But I couldn't help but wonder about something... ( To the riders, with a raised brow: ) How exactly did you guys find out about the hunters going after the snow wraiths?

Astrid: ( quickly: ) I ran into Johann when Stormfly and I were heading to Berk, and he told us about the hunters getting all the cold weather gear they could get their hands on.

Saga: ( honestly: ) Uh, that's not possible. Johann, wouldn't be able to get close enough to the hunters to get information like that without the hunters knowing. Plus, he's the one that told me about Battlestrike and Little Tooth's situation. The only way you could get that kind of information is if you had someone on the inside-

Astrid quickly covered Saga's mouth before the alchemist could finish her sentence, Astrid then sighs in defeat when she saw the suspicious looks Hiccup and the gang were giving her.

Astrid: Let's relocate the wraiths first then I'll tell you everything. Saga, not a word.

Saga just happily gave Astrid a thumbs up in response.

( Time Skip, after the riders relocated the snow wraiths and got back to the Edge )

Saga and the riders were gathered in the Clubhouse as Astrid told them about the truth about why Heather was with Dagur and the hunters. Tesla was laying on the floor of the clubhouse and was purring as the six baby furies, and Little Tooth were nuzzled against the flightmare with Battlestrike calmly watching over them as he was laying beside the flightmare. Saga was sitting crisscross in a chair as she listened to Astrid's confession.

Astrid: Heather pretended to join Dagur to get close to him to avenge her family. When she found out about his alliance with the Dragon hunters, she decided to get closer to him to find out more.

Ruffnut: But when Ryker captured us on his ship, you and Heather were fighting all the time.

Astrid: That's what we wanted people to think. And Saga, Heather told me that she was really sorry about threatening you and Indigo when she kidnapped you.

Saga: Oh. It's okay, I guess, but she has to say it to me in my face for me to actually forgive her.

Snotlout: Heather's not evil? There goes that dream.

Saga looked at Snotlout with a confused expression.

Fishlegs: Oh, I knew she was good at heart.

Astrid and Saga then turned to Hiccup, who had been silent this whole time and he had a neutral expression on his face.

Astrid: Hiccup, would you say something? Please?

Hiccup: We're supposed to be a team, Astrid.

Astrid: I know I-I should've told you. I wanted to. I really did.

Hiccup: But you didn't.

Saga looked between the couple with a frown as she didn't like the tension going on as Hiccup was still upset that Astrid had kept quiet about Heather being on their side.

Astrid: I'm sorry. But, without Heather, the Dragon hunters would have a key to the Dragon Eye right now and those Snow wraiths would not be safely hidden on another island.

Saga: ( trying to lighten the mood: ) Hey, at least we know now. And at least the Snow wraiths and I didn't get captured by the Head of the Dragon hunters, right?

Astrid: But, Saga, Ryker isn't the Head of the Dragon hunters. According to Heather, their real leader and the person that has been sending them after Saga is somebody named Viggo Grimborn.

When hearing this name, Saga couldn't help but feel like that name was familiar to her, but she didn't know why, which caused her to go deep into thought in attempts to figure out why the name " Viggo Grimborn " was familiar to her.

Ruffnut: Awesome name. Scary, but awesome.

Tuffnut: I don't know. Viggo Grimdeath would be cooler. Or how about Gore Grimskull. Grimskull!

Astrid: He lives in the shadows. Everyone's afraid of him, even Ryker. And he refuses to give up on capturing Saga to have her brought to him. Heather hasn't met him yet, but she's our best shot at drawing him out.

Hiccup: Well, I hope she knows what she's doing. For all our sake.

Saga: D-Doesn't that mean what Ryker said could be true? I-I could've been taken from them? I may be one of them?

The riders turned to Saga to see that the alchemist had a scared look on her face with confusion in her eyes.

Saga: I- I don't know why, but... That name. It's familiar to me, but I don't know why or how. ( Begins to panic ) Why do I feel like I know that name!?

Hiccup and Astrid quickly went to Saga, and Hiccup grabbed her hand while Astrid placed her hand on Saga's shoulder as they both tried to comfort her as Saga's confusion was causing her to panic. The others watched in worry for their friend, but they didn't know how to comfort her.

Hiccup: Hey, it's okay. I'm sure what Ryker said isn't true. There's no way in Valhalla that you could ever be one of them.

Astrid: And as long as we are here, neither Ryker or Viggo are going to get their hands on you, and that's a promise.

Snotlout: Yeah, if they want to get you, they have to get through us.

Fishlegs: Definitely.

Tuffnut: I would rather throw Ruffnut off a cliff then let those hunters take you. You are our fellow explosion maker, even though you don't mean to make your morning explosions.

Ruffnut: Yeah, but I would rather throw Tuffnut off a cliff then let them take you.

Saga's panic was slowly put at ease by the words of her friends, and Tesla purrs in agreement to the two dragon riders' words, but her confusion to the familiarity to the name " Viggo Grimborn " was still stuck within her mind.
