Saga was still following the tracks despite the blizzard that was raging around her, as she was determined to keep searching for the speed stinger and wounded night fury so she knew that they both were safe and warm. She then suddenly spotted a cave entrance in the distance, and saw that the tracks were leading to the cave, so she began walking towards the cave.

Saga slowly made her way inside, and when she did, she quickly heard silent whimpers echo throughout the cave, she instantly recognized the whimpers to belong to a baby night fury. Saga's instincts quickly kicked in, and she quickly pulled out a small fur blanket from under her coat and began walking into the cave, following the sound of the whimpering night fury. When the alchemist finally got to where the whimpering was, her eyes widened in shock at the sight in front of her...she saw a large alpha speed stinger, covered in multiple battle scars, wearing a muzzle and a tail stinger cover, curled up around the smallest baby night fury she had ever seen, the poor baby night fury was looked to be only the size of a newborn piglet and it was shivering as it had a huge slash wound on its side that began to the side of it's neck and ended at its tail, the poor baby fury was missing a tail fin and was keeping it's eyes closed.

Saga was holding back her tears from the sight before her, she couldn't believe that a person could do something to two living and intelligent creatures, especially to one that looked to only be a few weeks old. The speed stinger growled protectively as he spotted the alchemist.

Saga: ( calmly, to the Alpha speed stinger: ) Easy... Easy... I'm here to help you and your little one. It's okay...

Saga carefully placed her crossbow and arrows on the ground to the side, easing the speed stinger's fear slightly, but he was still cautious of the alchemist as she slowly approached them and kneeled down to them with the small blanket in her hands. The wounded baby fury let out a scared cry as Saga tried to get close to it, causing the alpha speed stinger to threateningly point his tail at the alchemist.

Saga: ( calmly, to the duo: ) It's okay, I'm just taking a closer look at the wound. I promise you, nothing bad is going to happen to you, either of you.

The alpha speed stinger slowly and hesitantly lowered his tail away from the alchemist as the wounded baby dragon continued to cry out in fear as Saga took a closer look at the poor thing's wound. She quickly knew that the young dragon needed medical attention, and she knew who. Saga then opened her coat to give her better access to her apron pocket, she then pulled out a roll of bandages from the pocket before she closed her coat up.

Saga: ( to the wounded baby fury: ) I'm going to wrap these bandages around your wound to prevent it from getting infected til we get you and your protector somewhere safe.

The wounded baby dragon slowly began calming down as Saga slowly picked them up and as she carefully wrapped the bandages around their wound. As the alpha speed stinger watched the alchemist, he slowly began to calm down, and once she finished bandaging the baby dragon's wound, the little fury slowly began to open its eyes, revealing that the little night fury had two different eye colors, his right eye was as blue as sapphires while his left eye was as green as a leaf during spring, this caused Saga to smile at the baby fury in her arms as the tiny baby fury looked at her.

Saga: Hello, little one. Don't worry, you're safe now. ( Looks at the alpha speed stinger ) Both of you are.

Saga then bundled the baby fury in the small fur blanket to keep him warm and cradled him with one arm, the little fury slowly began to drift into sleep in the warmth Saga and the blanket gave him. The alchemist then turned to the Alpha speed stinger, who was looking down at her like a chieftain daring his enemy to try something funny, she slowly reached her other hand to the speed stinger in attempt to take off his muzzle, but he flinched away from her.

Saga: It's okay, I'm just trying to take that muzzle and tail cover off ya.

Saga then reaches her hand towards the muzzle again, this time the speed stinger didn't flinch away as she slowly took the muzzle off and she tossed the muzzle aside, causing the older dragon to shake his head in relief as Saga took off the metal tail cover.

Saga: ( To the speed stinger as she tossed the tail cover to the side: )There you go.

Saga then began giving the speed stinger some chin scratches, which caused the flightless dragon to warm up to her as his tail began to wag slightly in response.

Saga: You two are all tired from getting chased by bad men all over the place?

The alpha speed stinger makes a grumble sound in response.

Saga: Nobody appreciates the both of you, do they?

The alpha speed stinger then began to purr as the alchemist continued to give him chin scratches.

Saga: Well, don't you worry, once that nasty blizzard goes away I'm taking the both of you somewhere you can be safe from those bad men. I have a feeling the gang are going to love the both of you. Till then, what should I name you two...

( With Astrid and Stormfly, after separating themselves from Hiccup and the others )

Astrid was flying Stormfly on the other part of the island, and she was relieved as the blizzard cleared and gave her a good view of the mountain. Stormfly flew up the high parts of the mountain, giving Astrid a good view of below. She spotted two familiar figure below.

Astrid: Easy, girl. I see 'em. Let's go in another way.

Astrid then guided her dragon to a different part of the mountain, and lands on the ground before the rider and dragon made their way on foot to the area they spotted from the sky. Astrid then drew her axe after they snuck into the campsite and saw Heather and Windshear.

Astrid: Well, well, well, Heather. Fancy meeting you here. Surprised to see us?

Heather stood up and turned to Astrid calmly.

Heather: Surprised? Not really. I've been listening to you stomp through the snow for the past five minutes.

Heather then takes out her double-sided axe, and the two went into defensive stances, looking like they were about to fight each other as they glared at each other while their dragons smarled at each other, this only lasted a few seconds before they stopped acting like they were going to kill each other.

Heather: What took you so long?

The two riders put down their weapons and hugged each other, causing Windshear and Stormfly to calm down.

Astrid: Hiccup isn't the easiest person to sneak away from.

Heather: Yeah. Ryker thinks I'm out scouting for Saga, because some of the hunter caught glimpse of her walking through the blizzard.

Astrid: Ugh. Great. I swear, I'm not taking my eyes off that girl once this is over.

Heather: ( chuckles ) How did you get him to come here, anyway? And why did Saga come here?

Astrid: I told him what you told me, but let him think it was coming from Trader Johann. And as for why Saga is here, apparently Johann told her that a escaped Speed stinger and a wounded night fury was spotted on this island and she came here to search for and rescue them, alone.

Heather: Yeah, Ryker said that the speed stinger was used for dragon fights, apparently it bonded with a baby night fury and it's old owners used it's attachment to the little guy to force the stinger to fight by threatening to harm the little fella if he didn't fight. I hope she does find them, I can obviously tell they're better with her than back with the hunters. Maybe one day I will get to apologize to her for kidnapping her.

Astrid: Any problems on your end?

Heather: Well, Ryker doesn't trust anyone and Dagur is paranoid, but so far I think I'm okay.

Astrid: You took care of Dagur?

Heather: I sent him on a fool's errand, looking for a second Dragon Eye.

Astrid: That should keep him busy. So, fill me in.

( Back with Saga )

Saga slowly walked out from the cave with the tiny baby fury cradled in her arms when she saw that the blizzard had cleared. The alpha speed stinger stayed protectively close to the alchemist, with his guard up just in case anything tries to come at them, like a chief protecting a member of his tribe.

The alchemist then noticed a campsite in the far distance, and she quickly smiled as she recognized the figures at the campsite.

Saga: The gang! I knew they would've gotten my note. Let's introduce you two to my friends, so you know that they're not bad like those hunters.

The alpha speed stinger walked close beside Saga as she started walking in the direction of the campsite with the wounded baby fury cradled in her arms.
