(Saturday 22nd May - Early Morning)

In the Knight household, where it's a humble looking suburban house with a simple design, which is the house Zero is sleeping in; where he is jut dozing off in his red covered bed with a very basic looking room with just a closet and desk.

Zero groans a bit as he slowly gets up, where his long hair is all over his face, and only wearing a pair of boxers, which shows off his lean and muscular physique. He sits up from his bed and slides back his fringe as he looks into the mirror and stretches his arms.

Even though he knows he's an reploid; he knows he doesn't need to stretch. Just that he does it out of instinct even though he has no idea why he did such a thing. Regardless, he opens up his closet, where he only have clothes from yesterday, but Gavin did told him they will buy him more clothes in the afternoon in a different shop due to what happened yesterday.

He sighs again as he puts on his clothes. Thankfully as a reploid, he doesn't need to take a shower as often as humans. He only need to clean himself once in a while since he still needs to clean himself to avoid too much dirt through his body. After all, he already taken a shower after his fight with that mechaniloid from yesterday to remove the dust, dirt and such.

He takes a deep sigh and opens up his curtains as he looks out into the sky as he absentmindedly start thinking about those weird visions he keep having. He just... couldn't comprehend his thoughts at all. No matter how hard he tries, nothing is coming to his head. Than, he hears someone calling his fake name.

"ZACK! Breakfast is ready!" A voice coming from Gavin called out to him.

"Coming!" Zero called out in reply as he walks out of the room and goes downstairs.

He never really got a good look of his new home due to what happened yesterday, so he decides to take his time by noticing the walls and floor, which feels pretty old fashioned by 22xx standards. For some reason, he feels nostalgic, though he doesn't understand why.

He notices the big hologram TV, the couch, and something that really caught his attention; a photo of a younger Alouette, a less tired and gruff Gavin and finally, a female reploid who strongly resembles Alouette except for her eyes, which is brown instead of blue.

Considering he doesn't see the woman anywhere, he can easily take a wild guess of what happened to her, so asking about her would be... too insensitive to just bluntly ask. So he just heads to the table where he sees Gavin and Alouette eating breakfast, while Passy rolls her eyes and says, "You're late!"

"Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, whatever." Zero shrugged off as he sits down.

"Your food was getting cold while you were just looking around!" Passy called out.

"Shut up!" Zero told her off while he takes a bite, where, while the eggs and toast did get a bit cold, it's still delicious to him, so he continues eating.

As they were just eating, Gavin says, "Ciel gave me a call earlier, about the whole giving you education and all that."

"Ah! Auntie Ciel!" Alouette cheered happily, "She is really, really nice!"

"You know her?" Zero asked her, where she nods.

"Yep! Auntie is the one who gave me my name!" Alouette told him, which makes him raise his eyebrow.

"Ciel isn't really her aunt," Gavin explained, "But Ciel was the one who suggested her name. So... there's that."

"How long have you known Ciel?" Zero asked him.

"That's... a story for another time, kiddo." Gavin told him, "Yo Passy! You gonna give a small tour to the important parts of Neo Arcadia, right?"

"Yep! Definitely Gavie!" Passy told him.

"Don't call me that." Gavin told her off, than turns to Zero, "Anyways, as I was saying; Ciel told me she will send you Neo Arcadia Academy, where one of her reploids work as it's principle."

"I see..." Zero responded, "When do I see them?"

"Tomorrow at 12 O'clock." Gavin told him, "You will start your first day on Monday, 9:30 PM."

"Got it." Zero replied as he nods and continues eating.

"In the meantime, make sure you know some of the well known history of the city along with the popular spots." Gavin told him, which he raises his eyebrow.

"Why though?" Zero asked him.

"Passy will explain to you." Gavin told him, "Passy. Come over here."

Passy rolls her eyes and fly over to Gavin, who starts whispering to her as he explains something to him. She just nods and goes back to Zero.

The older man takes a deep breath and says, "Welp. I'm done with breakfast. I'm gonna relax and stuff."

"Same papa!" Alouette cheered happily.

"Well, me and Zacky-boy here are gonna look around." Passy said.

"I-Hold on! I never approve of-" Zero objected, but Passy quickly covers his mouth.

"Shut it, blondie!" Passy told him off.

"Hey!"

"Oi! You two quit it!" Gavin told them off... than gives them a death glare that would scare even the Grim reaper, "Or else..."

"G-EEP!" Passy freaked out, "I-Alright! Alright! Calm down, Knight!"

"... Sorry, force of habit." Gavin stopped as he calms down and gets up, "Regardless, you two have fun. Just stay out of trouble, okay?"

"Sure..." Zero replied as he gets up and leaves the house with Passy.

The little girl looks at her father and asks, "Daddy? Why don't you go with him?"

"Well... I want to spend time with my little princess!" Gavin said with a soft smile, "So, tea party?"

"Yay!" Alouette cheered happily, "I'll get Mr Kitty and the others!"

Alouette runs upstairs as she goes to room, while Gavin looks at the old family photo, and frowns a bit as he thought, "... Meira... I hope you're doing well up there... and I hope you can forgive me for my past..."

(Later with Zero and Passy)

Zero and Passy got out of the train as they finally rush out of the very much crowded train. The two takes a deep breath and sighs as they walk out of the station, where they enter a massive area with a ton of people, futuristic buildings, a large, elegant fountain on the middle of it and hovering cars.

"And this is the main square of Neo Arcadia." Passy said.

"So... now you gonna explain to me about what Gavin talked about?" Zero asked her.

"Ah! Right!" Passy remembered and explains in a quiet tone, "It's to help you blend in better with the public. After all, people would be very suspicious if you don't know anything about the popular spots and such. Even foreigners and people out of Ainvia Kingdom knew about it, so it would be super unusual if you don't."

"That's true... I guess..." Zero understood.

"Good!" Passy blurted out happily as she now speaks in her normal volume, "So... where do you want to check first?"

"Well... any recommendations?" Zero asked her, which she pouts and crosses her arms.

"Mmm... how about the central park of Neo Arcadia?" Passy suggested. "That park is extremely popular! Especially for tourist due to the fact it has natural flowers, trees and such rather than artificial ones like in other countries!"

"... Yeah. That would be a good idea to start with..." Zero agreed with her.

"Awesome!" Passy cheered, "Let's go!"

Zero and Passy continue their walk as they head to the park, with the reploid following the cyber elf... but than he overhears a very familiar voice talking shit... again!

"I am here to talk about this new so-called hero, that menace ZERO!" Frederick shouted through the TV where a couple of people are watching the TVs behind the glasses. "He has no right to be called a hero after that yesterday stunt! Not only a bunch of civilians died in that Marverick attack, but also the policemen who were trying to help those civilians died in that attack as well! How long till those machines suddenly turn on us and kill us all!?"

"..."

"Ze-I mean... Zack! Ignore that asshole!" Passy told him off.

"Sorry... I... if I haven't gotten distracted by that strange vision... those people could have been alive..." Zero blamed himself. "Sorry... I don't feel like myself today..."

"Wait... what strange vision?" Passy asked him.

"... Some... blue reploid blasting the Mavericks from above..." Zero told her honestly.

"... I'm sure it's nothing important!" Passy lied to him, "So, park?"

"Oh! Yeah. I nearly forgot." Zero admitted as the two continues.

Passy sighs of relief and thought, "That... was a close call! I gotta have to keep his memories in check... but it can't keep on forever. We just have to find the right time to tell him!" as she guides Zero to the Central Park.
