Meanwhile, the Knight family sits on a table in a pizza restaurant as they start ordering their foods to the waitress.

"And one strawberry milkshake for my little daughter." Gavin finished, making his daughter giggle happily.

"Right away, sir." The waitress replied as she gives a drawn paper and crayons to Alouette, and walks away.

Alouette's eyes sparkles with glee with a big smile as she starts drawing on the paper with crayons.

Zero just look to his right side as the waitress gives them their desserts. Without a second thought, he takes a bite out of his minty ice cream, which Gavin notices and blurts out, "Wait? What menu did you use?"

"... Menu?" Zero asked as he raises his eyebrow and gulps down the piece, making Passy's and Gavin's faces turn pale.

"Oh no..." Both of them thought.

Passy completely forgot to double check Zero's menu, as there is a separate ones for reploids and humans. Because of the fact, normal foods would mess up the exoskeletons of the reploids, they created the E-brand that converts foods into energy through special type of nano machines, which is poisonous to humans.

Everyone stand still while Zero just takes a bite from his ice cream again. Which Gavin shouts, "Don't bite that again!"

"Wait... he isn't glitching out..." Passy noticed.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Zero asked them.

"Well..." Passy mumbled as she starts whispering to his ear, which his eyes widen.

"Oh... I... I didn't realised..." Zero mumbled... as nothing happens, "Weird...?"

"Did... did Harold's nanomachines actually work?!" Gavin thought as Zero just continues eating as if nothing happens.

Gavin's eyes widen in disbelief; Harold found a way to allow reploids eat human foods! Though... the instructions of making molecular nanomachines are meant to be classified from the public to avoid any corrupted person creating their spy reploids and have it blend in as a human.

People are aware those things are in the making, but not the inner workings. The only one who knew how to make it is Harold, the creator of those nanomachines.

"Odd..." Zero thought, "I don't want to alarm Alouette, so just pretend nothing is wrong."

"... At least it would be much easier to hide Zero's identity." Gavin thought.

"Your meals ready." The waitress said as she brings them their pizzas.

"Ah, thank you." Gavin thanked her as the waitress leaves and the family begins eating their foods.

Zero continues eating his dinner as he become lost in thought; trying to remember his lost memories.

Everything is completely fuzzy, like an old fashioned TV glitching out. No matter what Zero tries, he couldn't think of anything, much to his annoyance.

He grits his teeth and scratching his head as he is just struggling to remember, but can not. The blonde haired young man takes a deep breath and Passy notices this.

"You okay?" Passy asked him.

"... To be honest... not really..." Zero replied. "I-I need some fresh air..."

Just before Gavin could say, Zero quickly gets up and leave, which Gavin gets up and yells, "Wait! Kid!"

But Zero runs off as he feels he need to get some fresh air, or was that really true? He have no idea what he wants, but his instincts are telling him to go outside.

He ignore the yelling from Gavin and Passy as he finally manages to go outside. He sees more shops and restaurants, but a few different pathways that leads to the underground train, more shops and such.

The young reploid walks forward until he sees something large that caught his eye.

"Wha... Huh...?" Zero thought as he stares up at a massive statue of a reploid with a buster. "Who... I..." Suddenly he felt a sudden headache as he kneels down on the floor and his eyes starts to glitch between light blue and dark blue.

(Vision)

A male reploid smiling at him with blue armour and pale skin, but his eyes are glitching out, causing Zero to be unable to see his face clearly.

(Vision ends)

Zero gasps and rolls his body as his eyes are starting to glitch even more intensely.

"HEY!"

Passy manages to find Zero, and panics as she tries to get a good look, where she notices his eyes are flickering between two shades of blues.

"Zero! Snap out of it!" Passy yelled at him in a whisper tone and slaps him.

"H-Huh?" Zero snapped out of it as he looks at Passy and asks, "Wha... what happened...?"

"I was going to ask the same thing!"

"... Sorry... just... who..." Zero asked as his eyes become normal and looks up, "Who is that?"

"Oh... your memories are still bad," Passy realised. "That... is the legendary hero, Megaman X himself, as well as one of the founders of Neo Arcadia. In fact, history says he is the one who came up with the name."

"... Wow..." Zero mumbled. "... That name... is so familiar to me, yet... I can't remember..."

"... Come on, Zero!" Passy said. "Let's get back to Gavin and go home. You are clearly out of it!"

"... Yeah... you... you're right." Zero replied. "Sorry..."

"... It's fine. You're just out of it, that's all." Passy replied, "I... I can't tell him... it would overwhelm him too much and I don't want to deal with that... I'm not gonna lose him again... not ever..."

"Passy?"

"I'm fine. Let's go."

"... Okay..."

Zero gets up from the floor and walks away with Passy as they go back to Gavin, who is waiting with Alouette out of the restaurant.

"Already?" Zero asked.

"Yep... also, where the hell were you been, young man?!" Gavin called him out angrily.

"..."

"Seriously! What the hell were you thinking?!" Gavin told him off.

"... Sorry..."

"... Tch, regardless, let's get home. You're clearly out of it." Gavin told him.

"... Aww..." Alouette groaned.

"Sorry sweetie," Gavin apologised, "I promise, next time, it will be longer, okay?"

"... Okay..." Alouette replied.

"Good. Now, let's go you three." Gavin told them as they follow Gavin back to the car.
