and why would they care for their Civillians? When the 2nd Legion does not even Care about the life to those who Worship the Emperor and Empress as Deities 

Those who have been Exterminatus are the Lucky Ones

But those Planets who are being Invaded have a Terrible Fate as the Celestial Star Thunder Legion, The Night Lords and the Death Guards have Inflict the population a Fate of worse than Death

The Death and Suffering of Civilians was too much as there is literally ocean of Blood at every street and Buildings even Entire Planet since they are massacring the People that which Elena Swore to Protect

and they are Losing More and More ships, Since they are Facing tens of thousands of Warships from Multiple Legions that are attacking to them and most of them ships are from Celestial Star Thunder Legion and they are at least Numbering in 10,000 Ships and added by the other Legions

the Ramilies has at least 150,000 Crew and while the Indomitable class has at least 200,000 and thanks to Automation tech they have, they are needed less Crew to Manned the great Fortresses and they could Carry Millions Of Soldiers and their equipment inside of them and not to mention Multiple Thunder Warrior Divisions when they are Commanded by a Thunder Warrior Admiral

Armored elements are overrun the 2nd and their PDF armored elements not only because they have the Numbers but they have also the more Advance tanks in their side that is why they are able to overrun them as buildings are being destroyed by tanks who simply rolled around just like the Knights and Titans who are stepping on the buildings so that it would fall others are as they will going to use it as Cover

Air Superiority are pretty on their side as they have destroyed the 2nd Legion's Air, as even in the Space they have no longer safe to be bombed

The Thunder Warrior Interceptor Squads have done pin point Surgical Strikes at stragictic targets that would made their Enemies even weaker and Lessening the Pressure on their Allies

Before the Gray Knights having able to Use Personal Teleportation the Thunder Warriors are able to use it first

and unlike the Grey Knights, they are using advance tech that they are not using the Warp making them able to teleport not just accurate but also Guaranteed safety

they are used for surgical strikes and Flanking the Enemies when fighting against such agile and Maneuver such the likes of Eldar that they are using the Warp Spiders, and it made P.Ronan to create the Interceptor squads as they are not only tougher than warp spiders, they even out warp them 

Armed with Power sword, power axe, sometimes with storm shield, a Halberd or a Guardian Spear (Sargent only) and wrist Bolter, sometimes they are even changing their weapons in special types like the Plasma Gun, Melta gun, Grav gun but they won't going to use any heavier weapons as they Emphasis on Speed, and they are able to work well with the Terminators when they are going to possibly have to fight large number of Enemy or a very powerful Chamption that they Needed the help of the Terminators squad

Due to the Thunder Warriors are all Psykers in some form thanks to their Primarch, those who are below average to become a Librarian are teach how to to enhance their physical abilities or even to their weapons so that their weapons would become even deadlier and at the same time able to Fight demons of Chaos that they have to Fight in Secret

He looked to his sons as he could feel all of their Power because of their Vengeful Rage and not counting their additional Gene-seed the Rage within and it is working in conjuction with the Furnace as when they are dying, not only they would instantly healed but their strength, Resilience and speed dramatically increase either to Fight one last time or to survive enough to return to their Brothers

as he then having a Flash back before he had go to the Battle

He kneed to her stomach that which has been heavily damage even though she has personal shield to her power armor and once again P.Ronan just able to Damage it straight through her shield
