After hours of taking out the poison from Kankuro body. Sakura was able to save Kankuro life from death but he wasn't cure completely. She asked for the list of herbs they have to see if she could find an antidote. Along with other instructions and things she might need.

"Hey Kakashi not to be nosy but who was the white fang of the leaf she was telling about?" Kanon ask as Naruto nodded.

"Oh well you see.. how do I put it.. the white fang of the leaf... well he was my father." He said as he seemed a bit sad.

"You mean your his son." The old lady said.

"That would explain the resemblance to him." The old man said.

"Hey Kanon you spoke to Gaara right. You think you can talk to him again?" Naruto ask.

"I could try but it does require a lot of concentration. But if you think I can get the location you wrong. If you can get a piece of cloth or something that has their scent maybe there's a chance." Kanon said as she looked at her hand.

"Tracking the scent of Gaara or the kidnappers. A.very wise move but we need to find the location of the last place they were at." Kakashi said as he seem to get where she was thinking.

"Kankuro you should rest your in no condition to move." Sakura said as Tamari try to push him to bed.

"Gaara where is he?" He said as he try to get up but was push back down by Kanon waters.

"Rest now your in no condition to move. If you try to get up again I'll report to Miyako and she'll make sure you get to rest." Kanon said as he notice her.

"It can't be? How are you here?" He asked as he looked at her. His eyes had fear of something and she didn't like that at all.

"She came with me from the leaf village. So did Naruto and everyone else. They all came here to help us." Temari said as Kankuro saw Naruto and the rest of team Kakashi.

"Somthing tells me they're hiding something. Maybe that boy you care so deeply is hiding something. Huh Kanon." Shin said to Kanon mentally.

'Shin be quiet right now the mission is more important than some stupid secret of theirs.' Kanon said as Shin went quiet. She finally snap back to reality to the conversation.

"But why is she here?" Kankuro asked.

"I was assigned on a mission to keep an eye on Naruto from the hokage. That is until I'm needed back to my village." Kanon said as she pulled her waters away from him.

"I see." He said as she sees the guilt in his face.

"By any chance can you show me the location where Kankuro was found." Kakashi said as a guy came and told him where they found Kankuro. Kankuro stop them telling them to bring his puppets. As he moved one fingers he open one hand that held a piece of cloth.

"Well done even you went down you made sure to get a scent." Kanon said as kakashi did some hand signs.

"Kanon do you think you can send a dragon or two." Kakashi asked as he summon his dog pack.

"I'll do what I can for the mission. After all I am part of the team as an extra." Kanon said as she summon a pack wolves.

"Woah so cool!" Naruto said as they all gather the scent. Once they all got their scent they left to search for Gaara.

"Hey Naruto... Kanon... please bring back our little brother I beg you both." Kankuro and Tamari asked them.

"Hey come on after all he would do the same for us and until then he can just owe us. After all we friends." Naruto said as Kanon smile.

'Hes really grown up to be a good ninja. Yet will it be enough to bring back Sasuke?'

Time skip

Everyone was asleep trying to get enough rest to continue their rescue mission. Kanon woke up after she felt a familiar chakra.

"Need something Tamari?" She asked as she stayed with her to keep an eye out.

"I'm sorry were you asleep?"

"Yes and no I'm still waiting for their report. Tell me what's on your mind you have that nervous energy coming from you. Ever since Kankuro saw me I could tell you guys are lying. Even my dragons can sense it and Shin won't shut up about it." Kanon asked as she stayed still.

"I sorta lied to you when we talked about Gaara." She said shaken a bit.

"Don't worry I'm not that good of a girlfriend. After all where was I when he need help or someone to talk to. I could have talk to him during training. Yet I didn't because of the thought I would be that kind of girl that has to keep tabs on her man." She said as Tamari sigh and laugh a bit.

"I did push him to hang out with other girls to keep his mind out of work. Yet when I saw you at the leaf village again. I felt guilty for forgetting that you were together and making him go with other girls. So I had to keep my cool in the cave and tell you that he thought about you, and for that I'm sorry." She said as she shaken.

"Listen it's alright I wouldn't blame you. If I wasn't there then it's alright but if I was then that's a diffrent story. So stop blaming yourself you need to keep it together. After all you have to welcome him back in a big way when we get him." She said as she got up.

"My lady we have news about the location. It's just as you thought as well they seem to start the exstraction. We have little time to waste also we sense HE was there as well." A white wolf said out all she had the tip of her tail gray.

"Thanks Rain go report to Kakashi and once your done await for further orders from him." Rain nodded her head as she went to find Kakashi.

"Temari I promise no matter what happen I'll bring him back to his village. If he wants to continue being together or not I'll respect his wish. I just hope he wasn't using me for keeping shukaku from taking over." She said with a smile.

"Thank you for everything your doing for us." She said as she hugged her.

"Um... not to be rude but can you now go to sleep. Since we need all the strength we need for tomorrow." Kanon said as she felt uncomfortable with the hug.

"Right ah sorry well goodnight. " Temari said as she left.

"Night Temari"

"I knew there was something odd about that reaction from her brother. Why bother giving her false hopes Kanon it really pisses me off when your nice to others." Shin said as he heard the whole story.

'Shin she's already has to much on her shoulders. Plus you never say anything at the right time. Either way I don't want her to worry about that. So be quiet and go to sleep' Kanon said to shin as he huff and went back to sleep.
