After a good night's rest everyone got ready to head to the hokage's office. Kanon put her boots on just as Yukiko got to her before she left.

"Lady Kanon will you need me for today or should I protect Lord Nagisa?" He asked.

"You'll be here unless it's a important mission. Make sure to keep an eye on him I'll be back as soon as I can." She said as she open the door to leave.

"Good luck lady Kanon."

At the hokage's tower they arrive a bit late thanks to a certain jounin. As as they walk a women ran by them as fast as she could in heels.

'Wait isn't that direction where those messager birds land. I got a bad feeling just thinking about this.' She was in deep thought she was already standing in front of the door.

As lady Tsunade began to give them a D rank mission. Kanon could tell it was not her decision about this. While Shizune smiled nervously about her choice.

"Forgive me lady hokage but we got and urgent letter from the sand village." The same lady came with a scroll in her hand.

"I did my best to decipher the message as fast as I could." Lady Tsunade began to read it and she was shocked.

"Alright team Kakashi I'm changing you mission you'll be going to the sand village. The mission is to retrieve the kazekage known as Gaara back from the akatsuki. As of what we know it's seem they were after the tail spirit inside of him. Kanon it's time to see what that training did for you as well as you two Naruto Sakura."

"Right." They said as together. Shizune began to explian the time limit of theirs and what they need to avoid.

"Kanon be ready since it's the akatsuki they might go after the nine tails as well. Don't let your gaurd down for a second."

"Right l won't let you down lady hokage."

Time skip

"Yukiko I'm going to need you after all" Kanon yelled as she went into her room. She got some scrolls few clothes her weapons and her gourd that carry her water.

"Is this mission really important for you to come back and pack?"

"Yes because this is Shukaku were talking about. I need your help to get Gaara back from them." She said as she grab her bag and put it on as she walked to the door.

"Alright I'll go but I don't think I'll be much help after all the others are more stronger then me."

"Hey Kanon are you leaving already?" Nagisa said as their mother came as well.

"Yeah I got a big mission at the sand village, and I'll be gone for a few days as well as Yukiko."

"Okay I guess I'll see you guys when you get back." He said as he hugged her.

"Here take this the sand village is three days from here. There should be enough food for you and the rest of the team."

"Thanks well we better get going. I'll see you guys when I get back." She ran off to meet the others. And just in time before everyone else got here.

"Alright let's go." Naruto said as everyone was ready to go.

"We're off and we won't let you down ma'am." Sakura said as she saluted lady Tsunade.

"I'm counting on you guys." She said as they ran off and began their journey.

Time skip

It's been half an hour and they were going at full speed. Naruto and Kanon were ahead as Sakura and Kakashi were behind them.

"Hey it's Temari." Sakura said as they landed in front of the her.

"Hey guys what's up heading to a mission." She asked.

"Temari I don't think you know about this but Gaara was kidnapped by the akatsuki." Sakura said as she went straight to the point.

Time skip After explaining everything .

"Kanon can I ask you some?" Naruto asked.

"Got right ahead."

"Can your dragons fly us there. Won't it be more faster."

"It would be if they wanted to. Two of my dragons aren't very fond of the heat. The others two aren't very fond of people riding them. They bearly allowed me and kids to ride them." She said with an annoyed tone about her dragons.

"So I guess flying to the village is out." Sakura said.

"Yeah I bearly got four but I haven't properly trained them with each other. So until then I don't think they'll be much help for us." She said as they almost reach the end of the forest and the beginning of the desert.

"Okay Temari you lead the way. You know this terrain better than us." Kanon said.

"Right"

They began to follow Temari in the desert. Along the way Kanon dragons seem to feel the change of territory. Especially Yukiko.

'My lady is it warm outside?'

'I would say yes since it's a desert. It's better if you stay in there for your protection.' Kanon said as she kept to speed with the others.

Time skip

'Hey kid little warning a sand storm is coming soon. Best find a cave or something to protect yourself. I don't want you dieing out there.' Shin said as he went back to sleep.

'Thanks I'll will.'

"Hey guys Shin warn me about a sand storm coming soon. He said to find shelter and wait it out." She said as everyone seem surprised about it.

"Is Shin that wind dragon?" Sakura asked.

"Yeah he can tell the direction of the wind even inside his crystal." She explain.

"Well at least were only half way to the village." Temari said as she say the sand storm coming.

"We need to get in the cave near us now. It's better to get there before the storm hits." She said as he saw a few mountains near them.

'Luck is not on our side.' Kanon thought as they got inside the cave.
