Chapter 6

Hey everybody! So this is the next chapter. I'ma trying to keep posting on time, but I am almost at 100 pages on Google Docs for the THIRD STORY. YES. I AM DOING ANOTHER BOOK. I am going to hopefully finish it before posting this whole story, as to maybe start book 4...welp enjoy!

"For a while, the Tueres made sure that everything was in order. All the worlds were in order, and everything was in shape. Then, Chaos emerged. At first, people didn't really understand its power, but when they realized its potential, some grew hungry for it. But a few people knew that the Tueres would not approve of this, so they met in the dark, practicing its magic. Over time, Chaos overtook them. Their will was bent by him, and they wreak havoc everywhere. When the Tueres saw this, they were horrified. They immediately banned it when their people began to use it to fight against them. Some ignored, and were removed of all ability to handle any ability. The worshippers had to go into hiding, but all were found and removed of Chaos. Yet, they still believed that Chaos was their leader. It was known as the Dark Ages. Almost a decade of fighting Chaos." "But, how did Chaos appear?" Nadwe asked. "No one knows. And no one knows how to defeat him." "But what does dark magic have to do with her? And my question is how is Chaos back in Zack?" Jooice said, his voice cracking at the end. Jooice wanted to scream. He just wanted to let all his rage out. But he held it back, but it hurt. It hurt him so bad. Socks could see it on his face. He wanted to help him, but how? Laff was silent the whole time. He still felt like a puppet. It was all Chaos that made him L4FF. He wanted to hide from Chaos, never let him use him again. Make him hurt his friends. "We don't know exactly what he did to him, but we can only hope for the best." Eclipse sighed. Jooice couldn't handle anymore of this. He stood up and went out of the room. "Come on Laff." Socks said, and both of them followed Jooice. Jooice just needed to let his rage out. He went to the nearest training room, and immediately shot a lightning bolt at a dummy. "Jooice!" Socks said. Socks and Laff ran into the room. "I'm fine." Jooice said, and scared himself when he heard how angry he sounded. "You're not. I could tell. Just, please calm down. We can't risk Chaos getting the better of us." Socks said. "Do you know how hard this is?!" Jooice yelled. Socks backed up a step. He wasn't sure whether to speak or not. "You don't. Cause you don't know what it's like. To constantly feel the evil go into you. Having your mind twisted? Hurting your friends, and can't do anything? Going to that hellish landscape, seeing someone else's memories, and trying to live with that? You don't understand." Jooice whispered that last part, and fell to his knees, tears starting to fall down his face. There was a few seconds of silence, then. "You're wrong." Jooice looked at Laff, so did Socks. "You're wrong." he said again. "You're wrong, cause I dealt with him long before all this. He was the reason why I hurt you guys. Remember when I told you I don't know why I did it? Because I didn't. Chaos twisted my mind, and made me go rogue. He's the reason why I became L4FF. I never wanted to hurt you guys, but guess what? HE made me hurt you. All of you guys. So you think that you're the only one that feels this way, then you're wrong. Because everyday, I try to deal with the fact that I can't change the past! I can't bring Wictoria back! I can't say sorry to Woolfster and Muffin for shooting them and nearly killing them! I can't say sorry to Nadwe for trying to hurt him, just because he wanted to help! I can't change that fact that I still fight myself against L4FF!" Then he stopped. He never meant to say the last part. "Wait, are you telling us?" Socks started. Laff looked down. "A few days after I ran, I was walking when I looked at my hands, and they were metal. And every once in a while, they become metal. I don't know why, but I can only think that L4FF is trying to get back in control." Then, as if on cue, his hands and arms changed to a shiny metal, which made Socks step back. Laff felt fear shoot through him. "Laff..." Jooice said slowly. "It's still me. I promise." Laff said shaikly. Socks was scared. If L4FF took control, it would be another problem on their hands. But to their relief, the metal disappeared, turning back to human flesh. Laff rubbed his arm, thankful that the metal was gone. "Laff, why didn't you tell us?" Socks asked. Laff sighed. "I didn't want to worry you guys. I also didn't want to risk myself hurting you." Socks went over to him and pulled him in a hug. Tears formed beneath his mask, and he felt relief go through him. "I'm sorry I got mad. I just...feel tired. Physically and mentally." Jooice apologize. Socks and Laff pulled apart. "Hey, no need to say sorry. I'm pretty sure if I was in your place, I'd do the same thing." Socks said. A small smile appeared on his face. "Maybe we should head back." Laff said. They all agreed, but when they were about to leave, something stopped them. Gold vines block the door. "Natalie." Socks said. Then three gold vines, each one going to one of the three, pressed them on their temple, and they all fell unconscious.

...

"Oh God." Socks groaned. He opened his eyes. He found himself in a soft gray...place. He wasn't sure where he was. He sat up, and saw Laff and Jooice, but something sent shivers down his spine. Laff was green, and Jooice was a bluish-white. When Socks looked at his hands, they were a yellowish-orange. "Oh man." Jooice groaned, waking up. Laff was also waking up. "What happened?" Laff said. Socks decided to stay quiet, and see what happened. Laff looked at Jooice, and Jooice looked at Laff. "I am not going to say anything." Socks said. They turned their heads to him and stared. "Yeah, I know. Just look at your hands." Socks said. "I'm not going to say anything too." Jooice said. Laff was looking at his hands, and thinking. Suddenly, it hit him. "Guys, remember Natalie said that because we were exposed to so much power and energy, that our consciousness would be more physical?" Both of them nodded. "What if this is what she was talking about?" Jooice and Socks looked at each other. "I think you may be right, Laff." Jooice said. "He is right." a familiar voice said. They turned to the voice, and saw Natalie. She was a bright gold, and a smile was on her face. "Natalie!" all three of them said. "Hey guys!" she said. "What happened? And where are we?" Jooice asked. Her face became grim. "I thought that Chaos was dead. But I was wrong. Me and Zack were trying to find out how the death of our parents came to be, when he attacked. Me and Zack ran, but when we came to a dead end... he put me under some sort of sleep, right when he was overtaken. He didn't want me to be taken." "That's why Eclipse thought that it was Chaos that did it to you. It was just the timing." Socks said. Natalie nodded. "But this time, it's worse. He is using him as an energy source." "What?" Jooice said, his heart dropping. "I don't even know if he is alive." Natalie whispered. Jooice shook his head. "No, he's got to be alive. He has to be!" He wouldn't accept him as good as dead. "Jooice, I want him to be alive too. But I just want you to prepare for the worst." Natalie said. Jooice looked away. "Natalie, I'm not sure if you know this, but Chaos attacked us." Laff said. "...What?" she whispered. "Yeah, and now he's back in me, but also Socks and Laff." Jooice said, anger in his voice. Natalie's form flickered. Jooice realized how he said it, and wished he would just shut up. "Sorry. I...I don't know why I keep doing that." he said softly. "It's not your fault Jooice, it's Chaos. He's making you feel mad." Laff said. "Yeah, I know!" Jooice yelled. Laff and Socks looked at each other. It was getting worse. "Listen, we'll deal with this later, but right now, we need to find out how to wake Natalie up." Socks said. Jooice was breathing heavily. Why would they not listen to him? "Natalie, we need to get out of here now, and wake you up." Laff said. "Ember knows how to wake me up, she was just waiting for you guys, but it must have taken a while." Natalie said. "Where is she?" Laff asked. "Probably in one of the rooms here. Listen, I'm going to wake you up. Take care of Jooice first." she whispered the last part so only Laff could hear. "Kay." Laff said. They all suddenly fell into black. Then they all woke up back in the training room. "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO YOU GUYS?!?!" Meme yelled. The group had found them all on the floor, unconscious. "Do that again, and I am going to haunt your soul!" TBH said. "Sorry, it wasn't our fault!" Jooice snapped. "Jooice..." Laff said, but Jooice didn't hear him. Jooice got up. "Does it look like any of us wanted to be unconscious? Tell me." Jooice said, arms crossed. TBH knew he may have crossed a delicate line. "Hey, I was just worried about you guys." "Well, maybe you should think before speaking!" Jooice snapped. "Jooice, just chill!" TBH said, fear spiking in him. The Jooice went to attack him. Laff ran over to him, and wrapped his arms around him, trapping him. Jooice tried to break free, but then realized why he couldn't. Laff's arms were metal. And the whole group saw this. "Laff? What is this?" Woolfster whispered. "Yeah Laff, tell them about it." Jooice taunted. Laff ignored him. "Jooice, snap out of it." he said sharply. Jooice stopped trying to escape, but he was still angry. "Jooice, calm down. Breathe." Laff said. Jooice was now breathing slowly, and seemed more relaxed. Then he finally spoke. "...I lost control, didn't I?" "Yeah, you did. But everyone is fine. No one got hurt." Laff said. He let go of him. "Laff, what happened to you?" Nadwe asked. Laff looked away. "Laff, something is wrong, is it L4FF?" Meme asked, afraid of what might happen. "I don't know." Laff said. Suddenly, his chest became metal, and fear shot through him. He backed away from the group. "Laff, it's fine. I mean, L4FF isn't in control." Socks said. "Yeah, but this is the first time that I am more of a cyborg. Before it was just my hands and arms. Now my chest." Laff said, panic in his voice. The group was stuck. Would L4FF take over? "Listen, Ember knows how to wake her up. Go find her, and leave me here." Laff said. At first, the group argued against that, but he said that if he became L4FF, he might take them all out. So they left Laff to find Ember. Laff sighed. Why did this have to happen to him? "Let's just say that you are the right one for the job." "No, no no no no no." Laff whispered. "Relax, I only have the energy for this. Just to let you know that I am still here. You can't run from me." The voice faded, leaving Laff more scared than he had ever been. Why? Well, that voice was L4FF.

YES. L4FF LIVESSSS!!!!!!!!!! Will he come back and try to destroy them all? Wait and see!
