Chapter 14
Hey guys! Sry I haven't been posting a lot. April is going to be a busy month (Guess who's B-day is coming up :D) Anyway, enjoy! WARNING: Violence, language, and memories from the DREAMSMP.
The sun rose on the next day, but everyone felt as if it were a storm. Natalie had tears falling down her face. Everyone was worried. Has Chaos finally reached his full power? "Okay, so you felt the feeling just like when your parents died, right?" Laff asked. The fear of Chaos being more powerful had made him panic, and metal had fully spread, making him a cyborg once more. He ignored it, but wished it would disappear. "Listen, we need to get everyone. Every second counts now." Socks said. "But we don't even know where Chaos is." Jooice said. Laff and Socks looked at each. "Are you guys going to tell us?" Meme asked. "Tell us what?" Dino asked. So they ended up telling what happened last night. "Okay, so we know that he's probably hiding in an open plain, underground." TBH said. "But where? There are thousands of plains around here." Socks said. Laff noticed that Jooice seemed agitated. "Listen, let's worry about this later. Let's go ahead and get everyone." Laff said. They all agreed to that and went off. Laff went over to Jooice. "You good mate?" He asked. "Huh? Yeah, um, just got nervous about this. It's...it's going to be hard for me. Will we even be able to beat him?" Jooice asked. "I don't know mate. We defeated that one in the forest, but that was hard. So this will probably be the same, but a bit different." Laff said. Jooice sighed. He touched the bump where one of the scars were. "I guess the others are going to get a kick out of the black on our faces." Jooice said. "Yeah, and I am certain that at least one person will pass out after seeing me." Laff said. Jooice chuckled. "Come on, let's go say hi to everyone." They walked out of the room, heading outside. Everyone else was outside. "You guys good?" Socks asked. "Yeah, we're good." Laff said. Suddenly, the skies darkened, and Jooice's hand sparked with electricity. "What the?" he said, looking at his hands. "Jooice, what are you do...'' oof stopped when he looked at Jooice. "Oh no, it's Chaos." Laff said. Jooice's eyes had changed color, now glowing yellowish green. "I don't understand why he is doing this." Jooice wondered with panic. Suddenly, a lightning bolt struck the island, almost hitting Laff. His eyes widened. "He's using me as a lighting rod." Laff panicked. Everyone knew this was bad. How long the storm would last, they didn't know. Another lighting bolt came, but this time, it hit him. "LAFF!" Nadwe yelled. Laff felt like he was on fire. He groaned as he sat up, only to find that the lighting had made his legs stuck. He couldn't walk. "Shit." he whispered. "Jooice, can you stop the storm?" Natalie asked Jooice. "I don't know, but he's draining up my energy." Aphmau looked at Laff. "Listen, we can get Laff out of here, find a safe place for him while you guys help Jooice." she said. "What? No, bad idea." Meme said. "Meme, it's fine, they can do it." Nadwe said. Meme sighed, and agreed. Aaron and Zane helped Laff up, and they went to the bridge. "We'll help him." Aphmau promised. "Get as far as you can, see if the storm goes away." Meme said. She nodded, and ran off with the rest of her friends. "Okay, so we have to deal with this." TBVG said, looking up at the storm. "I don't know how he's doing it." Jooice said. Dino went over to him, but Jooice backed up. "If I touch you, it's going to be bad." Jooice said, showing his hands. Dino remembered what happened to Jooice himself, and backed away. "Okay, just try and stop it yourself." Oompa said. Jooice focused on stopping the lighting, but he couldn't do it. "He's stopping me from trying to stop him." Jooice said, shaking his head. "Okay, so let's think." Natalie said. A lightning bolt struck far away from them, but they all knew it was probably Laff. Jooice was thinking hard, and then something hit him. What if he couldn't create electricity? "Sorry guys." Jooice said. "Wait, what?" Dino asked, confused. Jooice pressed his hands to his chest, and the electricity flew through him. The pain was unbearable, but as he fell into Dino's arms, he sighed with relief as darkness overtook him. He felt himself floating in dark space.
Dino:"Not sure whether to kill you or not."
Jooice: "Sorry Dino, I didn't have much choice."
Dino: "Well, the storm's over. So maybe try waking up?" Jooice tried to wake up, and his eyes fluttered open. Dino was looking over him, worry in his face. "Are you crazy?" Dino asked. "Maybe?" Jooice groaned. "You should be glad we reinforced your head with harder glass, cause if not it would shatter again." "Well, I didn't do that for fun." Jooice said. He sat up, looking around him. The electric storm was over. He sighed with relief. "We should find the others." Woolfster said. They all agreed, and went to find them.
...
Aaron and Zane ran as fast as they could, and they duck into a small cave, avoiding a lighting bolt. "That..was...interesting." Zane panted. Laff sighed. Stupid legs. "You good Laff?" Aaron asked. "Uh, yeah. It would've been easier if it weren't for my legs." he said. The others came in. "This should protect us from the worst." Ein said. Noi and KC made a little fire, which brought light to the dark cave. "Man, that is a storm alright." Pierce said. Laff sighed again. He sighed a lot now. Suddenly, Aphmau's pocket glowed. She dug her hand in it, and pulled out the crystal. "Who is it?" Laff asked. "Maybe Dream. He's been checking in with us." The crystal flew out of her hand, and landed on the ground. The portal opened, and Dream came out. "Hey guys. What's..." He stopped talking when he saw everyone. Then he stared at Laff. "What the hell did I just walk into?" he asked slowly. Laff sighed. "I guess we have a lot to talk about." "Yeah, apparently." Dream said. He sat down, and Laff told him everything and explained everything. When he was done, he noticed the storm was over. They must've figured out how to stop it. "Wow. That's a crazy story. All of us have been worried sick about you guys. I saw that thing destroy their crystal, but I was already through the portal. Check on them a few days later, and they were back. Didn't say anything though." Dream said. "We weren't sure whether they wanted us to or not, so we stayed quiet." Aphmau said. "It's fine. But I'm glad you guys are safe." Dream said. "Yeah, we definitely had some close calls." Laff said. "Guys!" They turned around and saw Nadwe flying around as a bat. "Nadwe?" Dream exclaimed. Nadwe turned and saw them. "Um...Laff, you told him, right?" he asked. "I did, but he's trying to process everything else." Laff said. "Wait, you said Nadwe is a vampire, am I correct?" Dream said. Laff nodded. "Then how is he out in the sun?" Dream asked. "I can phase through things. I let the sun phase through me." Nadwe explained. "Huh. Wait, what?" Dream said. "Nadwe, I still can't walk." Laff said. Nadwe was quiet for a while. "Wait, I'll bring TBVG here, he can help." and Nadwe flew away. "Why TBVG?" Dream asked. "He can move stuff with his mind, that includes pretty much anything." Laff explained. "Try doing a speedrun with that." Ein said. Dream laughed. A few minutes later, Nadwe came back with TBVG, but Nadwe wasn't flying, but sitting on his shoulder. "Hey Dream!" TBVG said. "Hey." Dream said. TBVG entered the small cave. "Still stuck?" TBVG said with a smile. "Ha ha, very funny." Laff said, but a small smile was on his face. "Come on, let's get out of here." TBVG's eyes glowed purple, and Laff felt himself float a little. TBVG helped him up, and Laff put his arm around TBVG's neck. TBVG helped him outside, where the others were waiting. "Where's everyone else?" Dream asked. "They're at the old building. We need to get a name for it other than building." Laff said. "Didn't it get destroyed?" Dream asked. "Blaza can move rocks, oompa can bend metal, and TBVG can move anything, so we fixed it pretty quickly." Laff said. "Okay, now you have to tell me what all you guys have for abilities, but you show me yours." Dream said. Laff chuckled. "Maybe watch where you're walking," he said. Dream was confused, then ran into a green wall. Everyone burst into laughter. Dream was just confused. "Where did that come from?" he asked. "That's my thing, I can make these unbreakable shields." Laff said, still laughing. Dream laughed too after that. "I'll admit, that is pretty cool." he said. "Laff, your head!" Noi said. TBVG looked and saw the metal was disappearing. "It's fine, the metal is just going away, which is a good thing." TBVG explained. All the metal faded. But what worried them was if his legs still worked. When TBVG stopped holding him up, he immediately fell. Zane caught him, and helped him up. "This...is bad." Laff said, biting his lip. "Could his legs be paralyzed?" KC asked. "That may be a possibility, but we don't know yet. We need to get to the building." Dream said. "Yep." Nadwe said, and flew over to Dream's shoulder. "I am never going to get used to this." Dream said. "I'm still not used to being a vampire in the sun." Nadwe said. Dream chuckled. "What is strange is that I can still feel them." Laff said. TBVG lifted Laff up again, and they all ran to the building. Everyone was outside, and when they saw TBVG carrying Laff, they knew something was wrong. "What happened?" Jooice asked. "The metal disappeared, but his legs still won't work." TBVG explained. "Let's bring him inside." Natalie said. They carried Laff inside, and laid him out on one of the tables. "Is there any pain?" Meme asked. "No, nothing." Laff said. Inside, he was scared. Would he ever walk again? "There's no broken bones, nerves are fine. Then what could it be?" Meme said, frustrated. Laff sat up. "What if it's something that only can be fixed if I'm a cyborg?" he asked. Meme thought about that. "Maybe, cause you were struck with lighting as a cyborg, and that caused your legs to become stuck, so maybe it has to do something with you being a cyborg." Meme said. "But, he's human right now, how will we be able to find the problem?" Socks asked. Laff thought about this. The only way to find the problem was to become a cyborg again. But what if Chaos took over? Well, he couldn't move cause his legs didn't work, but still. He sighed, and his arms and hands became metal, and slowly spread around him. "Laff, what are you doing?" Dream asked. "The metal is spreading around him again." TBH explained. Laff realized he was suddenly tired, and then that horrible voice came back. "You should be more careful mate." Laff felt all his blood freeze, everything froze. This didn't happen before, did it? "Laff, what's wrong?" Jooice asked. Laff had tensed up suddenly, and his face was filled with fear. "It's him. It's L4FF." he whispered. Everyone froze. "How do you know?" Jooice asked. "I can hear him. He's trying to take over, I just gave him energy somehow." Laff said. "Listen, just breathe. He hasn't..." Jooice got cut off when Laff's hand went to his throat, choking him. Laff's face filled with more fear, and metal spread further, fully covering him. Socks and Meme went over and managed to pull Jooice from Laff's grasp. Jooice gasp for air, and started to cough. Laff had fallen from the table, but he backed up away from the others. "You good?" Socks asked Jooice. Jooice nodded. "Yeah." "Laff, it's fine." Meme said. "No, it's not!" Laff said. "Laff, Jooice is fine." Socks said. "No, that wasn't me, that was L4FF, and for the first time, he managed to control me, making me hurt Jooice!" Laff said. He felt dangerous. He wasn't supposed to be here. Dream slowly made his way to Laff, making sure not to be seen. He was behind Laff in the shadows, and lept onto him. Laff was caught off guard. Dream trapped him, pinning his arms, and put his own arm around his neck. "Listen, you're not going to hurt us." Dream said. "Then explain why you are doing this?" Laff asked. "Because if you do try and hurt me, I can easily knock you out." Dream explained. Laff got quiet. "Listen, we all want to help you, all of us want to help you guys. But you really, and I mean really, need to trust us. How else are we going to fight Chaos if we can't trust each other." Dream asked him. Laff hated this question, but he knew Dream was right. Laff was just so tired of this. Why couldn't he go back to the old times where trust was easy to say yes to? He sighed. "Listen, I don't understand how the heck this all started, but from what I see and know, is that this L4FF is stuck with you. You have to learn to live with it. He's forever a part of you. You can't change that. But can you live with it? If not, then that's going to send your life spiraling." Laff didn't say anything. But was Dream right? Could he live with L4FF as a part of him? Dream slowly let him go. Laff just sat there, crushed. "Your friend is stupid." Laff's eyes widened. "RUN!" he said, as he leapt onto Dream. Dream rolled out of the way, and he pulled a shield out. "I promise I won't hurt you." Dream said. Laff was panicking. He had no control over his body. He stood up, managing not to fall. Dream slowly went up the stairs as Laff pulled out a sword. "Dream, please be careful, this metal is hard to cut through." Laff said. "I'll be careful, you try to take back control, okay?" Dream said. Suddenly, a green shield went around the others. It was between only Dream and L4FF. Suddenly, Laff's head burst into pain. "You can't beat me." "No, no, no." he said. He couldn't let him take control. But it was no use. He felt himself disappear. Laff closed his eyes. "Laff?" Zane asked. He opened his eyes. "Well, well, well, it has been quite a long time." "NO!" Meme yelled. He laughed. "Let the games begin!" L4FF said.
...
Meme's heart raced, his one nightmare in front of him. "How are you back?!" Socks yelled. "I needed energy, Laff gave it to me without knowing, every time he became a cyborg, he gave me the energy I needed to come back, and at the perfect time." "Listen, just stop." Dream said. L4FF turned to him. "And why should I?" "Because I don't know who the heck you are, so maybe tell me who you are so I can finally understand what is happening." Dream said. L4FF thought about that for a little bit. Unknown to him, Dream flicked his crystal and it went behind L4FF. "You know, maybe I am on the wrong side." Dream said. This baffled the others. "Dream, are you crazy? He's going to kill us!" Aaron yelled. Dream didn't say anything. L4FF was now deep in thought, that he didn't notice the portal open behind him. GeorgeNotFound walked out. Dream put his finger to his lips, and George knew if he made a sound, things would go wrong. "I mean, think about it, you're a cyborg, a lot more powerful than them." Dream continued. "A partner would be nice, but how can I trust you?" L4FF said. "That's the thing. You can't." Dream said, and George attacked. He leapt onto L4FF, surprising him, and Dream held him down. He punched him in the head, and he stopped trying to escape, but was still conscious. "I'll be back," he whispered. He went limp. "Laff, come on man." Dream said. The green shield went down, and Socks and Meme ran over to him. "Wait, this is Laff? And HOLY SHIT WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR FACE?" George yelped when he saw Socks. "Dream, maybe tell George what happened?" Meme said, but then Laff started to wake up. "Oh man." he groaned. "Easy Laff. Breathe." Socks said. Laff felt dizzy. The metal began to disappear, and Laff was himself again. "Easy, it's over." Meme said. Laff was shaking, not from being cold, but the fact that L4FF had come back. This was his worst nightmare. "Laff, it's fine." Dream said. Sapnap suddenly came through the portal. "George, where..." he stopped talking when he realized where he was. He saw the group, and his heart stopped. "Hey Sapnap." TBH said, a sad smile on his face. "Guys?" Sapnap was stunned. "Yeah, it's us." Blaza said. "I thought you guys were dead." Sapnap said, heading over to them. "Well, we've had some close calls." Jooice said. Sapnap noticed the black on Jooice's face, but figured that they would explain everything. He turned and saw Laff. "Laff!" He ran over to him. "What happened?" He asked. "We'll explain everything, not right now." Socks said. "Laff looks like he just got drained of energy, what happened?" Sapnap asked again. Suddenly, Socks stood up, grabbed Sapnap by the throat, and held him against the wall. "Socks!" George exclaimed. Sapnap was shocked, losing the ability to breath. Socks was breathing heavily. Meme went over to him slowly. "Socks, put him down," he said slowly. Socks didn't do anything. "Socks." Meme said again. Socks blinked, and pulled his hand away. Sapnap gasped, and started to cough. Socks went away from him, guilt filling him. "What the hell just happened? Socks..." George started to say, but Meme stopped him. "He is going through a lot right now. Trust me, he didn't want to hurt Sapnap." Meme explained. George nodded. "You good Sapnap?" Meme asked. He nodded. "Just don't take long deep breaths, nice easy ones." Meme looked back to see where Socks was, but found that the door was open. Meme sighed, and went outside. Socks was sitting a distant away, looking at the horizon. Meme went over to him and sat next to him. "I lost control." Socks said. "Yeah, but he's fine. Mostly shocked." Meme said. Socks sighed. "Listen, Laff is going to freak out when he finally comes around." "Socks..." "What?" Socks looked at Meme, confused. "I was scared. The whole time L4FF was talking, I was scared." Socks was surprised. "But he was hurting Laff. One of my friends. He was going to fight Dream, one of my friends. I couldn't break down then." Meme said, and tears started to fall from his face. Socks looked down. "I guess we both are scared." "I guess so." Meme said. "I don't want to hurt anyone else." Socks said. Meme had no answer to this. They just sat there, two best friends hanging out, behind each other's back. "Socks." They turned and saw Sapnap. Socks tensed up. Sapnap walked over to them. "Listen, I don't know what the hell happened back there, but I know that the Socks I know wouldn't do that." He said. Socks smiled a little. "But let's head back inside, so you can tell me and George everything, cause we need to know what is going on." "Yeah, and maybe we should get everyone else." Meme said. They got up, and went back to the building. "We might as well call this HQ" Socks said. Meme laughed. "Yeah, might as well."
...
"Okay, so you guys have a lot to tell us." Henwy said. Everyone was back, and they were all happy to see everyone. Laff had come back, but was silent as stone. "Yeah, we do, but you guys ask questions and we'll answer them." "Okay, first, how the heck are you guys alive? That thing should've killed you!" BadBoyHalo said. "It should've killed us. But we've dealt with him before. He goes by the name Chaos, and he's been wreaking havoc in our world for a while now." Socks said. "What has he done?" Corpse asked. "He twisted our minds, made us fight against each other, and made us doubt ourselves. He almost killed me and Nadwe." Jooice said. Mummers grew in the room. "Yeah, it got nasty. But the thing is, he's in me, Socks, and Laff. That's why we have this black stuff on our face." Jooice said. "What happened to you guys while we were gone?" Tubbo asked. "We found our old friend, Natalie. She's been helping us out a lot." Natalie waved a little. She had never been around a lot of people. "The reason we're alive is because we have our own advantage. We have these abilities that let us fight against him." Muffin then flew into the air. "What the hell?" Tommy said. "All you guys can fly!?" Biffile yelped. "No, I can bend air to my will, all the others have unique abilities." Muffin said, landing back on the ground. "That's how we fought him. But he wasn't going down without a fight. He made clones of himself that we had to fight." "How bad were the injuries?" Zane asked, though he knew himself. "I got stabbed in the heart by a stake." Nadwe said. "WHAT?!" Wilbur Soot yelled. Everyone was stunned. "Why a stake?" DanTDM asked. Nadwe sighed. Then transformed into a bat. "You're...a vampire." Mr. Beast said. "Yeah, and I nearly died because of it, and lost all my memories, but I managed to get them back." Nadwe transformed back into a human. "But he wasn't the only one to almost die. My head almost shattered." Jooice said. Silence hung in the air. "If it almost shattered, how does it look perfectly smooth?" Quackity asked. "Because we managed to fix it." Jooice said. "But how did this all start?" Technoblade asked. None of them answered. "Chaos twisted my mind, made me hurt them, and started a war." Laff said. Socks closed his eyes, memories from the past bringing him pain. "But how? You would probably be outnumbered." "Because he made me turn into a monster." Laff said. He closed his eyes, pain in his heart and spirit. Everyone was confused. What did he mean? Socks suddenly stumbled, the sick feeling filling him. "No, not now." He whispered. "Socks, are you okay?" Dream asked. Dream went over to him. "He's trying to take control." Socks said. Then Socks fell, and went limp and Dream's arms. "What's happening?" Drista asked. "I don't know." Dream said. Suddenly, Socks stirred awake. "Socks what happened?" Dream asked. Socks stood up, his eyes closed. "Socks?" Meme asked. "Well hello everyone." he said, but it wasn't his voice. It was Chaos's. He opened his eyes, and they glowed yellowish green, surrounded by black. Everyone felt panic engulf the room. "Who are you?" Fundy asked. "I'm the one that you call Chaos. I have met you all before, but it was very short." he said. "You're that giant monster?" Tommy asked. "Yes, I am." he said, smirk on his face. Tommy was shocked, then rage filled him. "Oh you messed with the wrong people." he said, and pulled out his sword, heading straight towards him. "Tommy, don't." Wilbur said, but Tommy ignored him. "Now this is very interesting." Chaos said. "Oh, what is? That I am going to fight you because you beat the shit out of my friends? That I am risking my life for them? Maybe it's because you made their lives a living hell, and I am really pissed at that. Like, really pissed. So how about this. You leave them alone, all of us, or I'll beat the fucking shit out of you!" Tommy yelled. Black vines swirled up him, and squeezed him, trapping him. He gasped for air, but found it hard to. "Do you see the power I have? You wouldn't last a second." Chaos hissed. "Well he's got friends!" Tubbo said, pointing his sword right behind Socks's back. He had snuck up behind him while Tommy was talking. "Ah, little Tubbo." Chaos chuckled. Tubbo's sword fell a little. "How do you know my name?" he asked. "I've been in this world for a while, even when you guys came over. I've watched, and learned your strengths and weaknesses. Soon, this place will be like L'ManBerg." Tommy felt his heart freeze. Dream felt an evil fill him, one he hadn't felt in ages. He threw his sword and it hit Socks' side. He fell to the ground, the black vines disappearing, letting Tommy go. Dream collapsed to his knees, tears falling from beneath his mask. "Dream, it's all in the past. It's over." George said. But Chaos had hit a sensitive mark. Leaving Dream fighting with the evil inside him. Tommy and Wilbur and Tubbo felt a sadness fill them as they remembered their ruined home. Meme ran over to Socks, who was laying on the ground, bleeding. "I hate him. I want him dead." Dream whispered. "Listen, he's gone for now." Sapnap said. Dream wanted to find Chaos and kill him. The evil streamed through Dream, he wanted it to end. Socks stirred awake, and pain filled his face. "Shit, he did it again, didn't he?" Socks winced. "Yeah, Dream threw a sword into your side. But it's not deep." Meme said. Socks sighed. "Zane, grab that first-aid kit over there." Meme said. Zane ran over to Socks and Meme, and gave him the kit. Laff hid in the shadows, but only one person saw him, and that was Tommy. Tommy gave him a look that said "We need to talk." Laff sighed, and gestured to the stairs. Tommy snuck up the stairs, and Laff went up there too. They went into a room, and locked the door. "You good?" Laff asked. "Yeah, I was expecting him to lash back, but not the vines." Tommy said. Laff nodded. "Okay, but why are you hiding? Are you scared or something?" Laff didn't know how to answer. "Listen. Before any of this, Chaos made me hurt my friends. Twisted my mind, making me think things that weren't me thinking them. Then, he managed to turn me into a cyborg. I almost killed them, but they managed to stop me. I ran away. Then Chaos showed himself, gave me a weird ability, Jooice joined me, everyone else got abilities, I switched sides, Jooice became a host for Chaos, we fought, thought we defeated Chaos, and met you guys." Laff explained. "But why hide?" Tommy asked. "Because that cyborg, the other side of me, is still alive. He took control over me, not that long ago. I nearly hurt someone." Laff said, his voice cracking. Laff sat on a chair in the room, putting his head in his hands. "Laff, I don't know a lot, but this cyborg, does it have a name?" Tommy asked. Laff looked up, confused. "Yeah, L4FF." Laff said. "Well, hello there L4FF." Tommy said. Metal spread up his hands and arms, and to his chest. "Crap." Laff whispered. "Ho, my God." Tommy said. Laff was confused. What was happening. "Laff, mate. British man to British man, you have to trust me." Tommy said. "What are you doing?" Laff asked slowly. "L4FF, maybe we could talk, you know, just. Let me get to know you." Tommy said. The metal spread all around him. Laff finally understood what he was doing. "Tommy, stop." Laff said, his robotic voice barely a whisper. "Laff, trust me." Tommy said. Laff was shaking. "Please, I have an idea." Tommy said. Laff nodded. "L4FF, maybe we could talk face to face." Tommy said, and Laff disappeared. "Why do you want to talk?" L4FF said. "I don't know, think about it." Tommy said. "What is there to think about?" L4FF asked. Tommy was silent. He needed to manipulate this cyborg's mind, but how? "Well, what is your purpose here?" Tommy asked. "Why is that any of your business?" L4FF asked. "Am I allowed to be curious? I mean, you were curious as to why I wanted to talk to you." Tommy said. L4FF thought about that. "I mean, if you have no purpose, then why are you still here?" "I am allowed to live, aren't I?" "Sly fox, aren't you?" Tommy said. "What's with all these questions?" L4FF asked. His hand sucked into his arm, and out came a sword. "Mate, I don't want to hurt you. I just want to talk." Tommy said slowly. "Then just get to the point." L4FF said. "Alright, the point I want to talk about is this deal between you and your buddy Laff." L4FF chuckled slowly. "So this is what this is about. Well let me say this. Laff should know this by now, but if not, he can't get rid of me. I'm a part of him forever. Until the day he dies." Tommy sighed. "But have you ever thought that Laff knows that, and you're making it worse for him." Tommy said. L4FF got quiet. "Have you ever thought about maybe leaving Laff alone?" "I've left him alone for a while, even if I wanted to touture him, I couldn't, cause I didn't have the energy to." "So you stole his energy? What if you took too much that he dies, then you die." Tommy said. L4FF was stuck. "So how about this. You get to live, cause you have energy to be conscious in his mind, but let him live his own life. You were made by an evil person, who wanted to kill Laff. If Laff died, you would have never lived." L4FF was defeated. "Fine, whatever. I'll let him be." "If you ever show your face again, I'll be back." Tommy said. L4FF rolled his eyes, and then suddenly went limp, falling to the ground. Tommy caught him, and laid him gently on the ground. "Come on mate." Tommy whispered. Laff opened his eyes, confused and dazed. "Is he gone?" Laff asked. "Yeah, he's gone, you're fine." Tommy said. Laff sat up, and the metal disappeared. "We had a lovely chat, and I think and hope that he'll never show up again." Tommy said. "Thanks." Laff said. Tommy smiled a little. "Anytime mate. Now come on. Let's see how the others are doing." They both got up, and snuck back out. Socks was looking much better, the wound all bandaged up. Dream was still not looking too well. Drista tried to comfort him, but it was no use. Dream was stuck. But no one knew. "Listen, this is what Chaos is doing. He knows our weaknesses, we need to fight against him." Socks said. "But how? Do we know where he is?" Cranier asked. Socks smirked a little. "I went digging in his head while he was in control, and after a while, well, I found out where he was hiding." Everyone was now buzzing. "But how can we fight? We don't have abilities like you." Awsamdude said. "Sam, you've built amazing buildings, you can make forts and shelters!" Socks said. Sam thought about that for a moment. "Yeah. I could." "Techno, you're the greatest fighter there is, you can teach everyone how to fight better." "I mean, I guess I am." Techno said. "Dream, you're super smart. You know how to always get away with defeating the Ender Dragon in the end. You can make battle strategies." Dream looked up, pride filling him, making the evil fade, but only a little bit. "Listen, I don't care whether we have abilities or not, we have some of the strongest, smartest, and amazing people ever. We have a chance of defeating Chaos, and stopping his plans! But we can only do it if we work together and trust each other." Everyone yelled in agreement. "We all need your help. Will you help us?" Socks asked. Everyone yelled in agreement. This was it.
